Believe it or not, I had never been to a Chili's until about 2 months ago. I still haven't eaten at one. Both times that I've been, it's just been for drinks with some friends. Tonight we sat at the bar and I had a couple Jack and Cokes, which were a little steep at $7.25 each. The bartenders were nice enough, and there were several TVs playing various sports games. I've gone to chilies in the past and never had this problem. A friend and I went for lunch and the hostesses was sitting down talking to one of the customers, ignoring us. A few other people came in after us and waited while she talked to this customer. Then the phone started ringing and she ignored the phone for awhile. Finally she got up and answered the phone still not acknowledging us and had a full on conversation with whoever was on the phone. We waited about 5-10 minutes while this hostess talked to customers and on the phone. Another waitress came up to us and informed us that the bar is open seating (would have been nice to have known that sooner). The waitress was good and attentive which made up for the HORRIBLE wait and customer service from the hostess. When we checked out we wanted to stress our displeasure on their iPads at each table but the space bar was broken on their program, not allowing us to leave a comment. I'm only giving 2 stars for the food and the good customer service of the waitress. It was pretty appalling how rude and unprofessional this hostess was. read more

Very bad experience at this location! 1. While we were eatting, the waiter was swiping the floor with bloom, and swiping all trashes behide to my 10 year old son's chair! 2. They are offering if u join their member program, you will get a free drink or chips. And I ask the gentleman if we can use it in the same day? He answered yes. But we keep waiting and he never came back to tell us how... in the end, we got bill for the chips for $4+, then we need to asked another person to fix this issue. 3. While we were eatting, there were two times they came to us and asked if we finish the dish or not which there still food on our plate... and the 2nd time she even asked AFTER she took our plate!! My kid was look at me and ask me why I didn't stop her? I said since the plate already on her hand, I don't want it back either! 4. We order a dessert for kids. Then we wait for almost 20 mins( not sure how long but long), and we cannot even see a person to ask if they forgot or what.... so we have to stand up then walk to the front and ask them for a box and check( kids already give up for their dessert). Then come with our check with the. Chips' charge dessert's charge.... then we need to tell the lady we didn't get our dessert and the member issue..... 5. Finally we finished all and still, need to stand up and walk to them and bring the heavy device( to sign up for their member) and money to find someone to pay.... then the story still not end yet.... we paid cash and our change should be $22.55, and guess how much the lady brought back to me? She's very thoughtful, she must think I don't like to carry coins around ... she gave me $22($5x4&$1x2).... it's not about $0.55, it's about right or wrong ! And I not even know what were they think about? For $27.45, we should pay 15-20% tips I knew, but for all these thing... I have to ask one question, what is tips mean? They think I might leave $5 bill for them? I still leave $2 on the table which I think it's not the right amount but I don't want to give more!! Things finish yet? no! 6. When I on my way home, I called the store.( the internet inside was very bad, so I cannot write reviews) and tried to ask for the store manager and let her know what happened... there was a lady answer the phone and when I ask for manager, she asked my name, then turn around talked to whoever was next to her " she's using a random number" ( with an arrogant attitude- my 10year old twin girl feel this way too), then there was a Wendy lady came to answer. Again, I asked her if she's the manager? She said " no, oh! You want to talk with manager?" Then Anna, the manager, came to answer my phone..... she listened and Nice! Unfortunately Chilli's seems to get worse as time goes on. We used to be frequent customers a few years back but then the menu started changing and not for the best. Today was a total disappointment. We ordered the fajitas which arrived at our table with what seemed to be precooked chicken that had not been heated through. The shrimp were tiny and we probably got about three or four small strips of steak. The rest of the food was no better. Service was ok considering there were only two waitresses and no busboy. BF and I usually have no issues sitting at the bar but last night, it was pretty packed ( Thursday night and NBA Finals going on). I guess we came on the wrong night.. Since bar area was full, we decided to sit in the dining section. From time we put our names in and got seated it was only 10 mins. However from time we put our order in to getting our meal, must've been 30 mins.. We didn't even order appetizers or complicated dishes. just a buffalo chicken sandiwch and a quesadilla explosion salad ( which by the way was delish!). Our waitress was so nice so I can't blame her. I undestand kitchen was busy but goodness... So that's my only gripe.. Wish they had faster service on the dining room section.. Maybe next time I'll just stick to the bar area where service is a bit faster. read more

I've come here multiple times with huge groups of people (think 8 or more) & times just me and my wife. All the times I have been disappointed. It's not the waiter's fault though! They are always nice and helpful. It's the food. It always for some strange reason comes out cold! & comes out way too slow. The drinks here aren't a much better story. They taste watered down. The food is great. I love their ribs. However, the quality of service is an issue. Sometimes they can be very fast but other times it usually takes awhile to have someone to service you. One time, we were literally sitting there waiting for awhile and still no one came to help us. They tell us that someone will be with us shortly but nothing happened. I dined in the bar area in a booth with my 8 year old daughter on Monday the 20th. We were greeted right away by Marie who got my daughter a kids menu and coloring sheet immediately. She was a pleasure to have serve us. Marie was very timely with the order, refills and food. Also she treated my daughter very kindly. I went to Chili's today with my wife to order lunch at this Chili's where I have many business lunches at least 8 times month this is by far the worst since I have been eating for many years. We ordered lunch and after over an hour wait and after 4 times being assured it was ready and they would be bringing it out. At the last assurance we were told it was ready now at which we requested boxes so we could take the food and eat back at the office. The waitress said that she would box it for us and be right back. Approximately 5 to 6 minutes later I stood up and looked for the waitress and could not see her anywhere and I then left the restaurant. I will not be bringing many of my clients back for lunch nor will I and my wife return for another experience like this. A great disappointment. read more

Living in Diamond Bar, this chilis has become our go to sports bar, quick dinner kinda place! We stop by a couple times per month and typically sit in the bar, the servers and bartenders are all really nice! The food is always good and you can't beat all day happy hour on Sunday's!! I went in for dinner on my LUNCH break. We happily sat down and quickly received our drinks, then after that it seemed like service in that restaurant came to a screeching halt. We carried on conversation after a good 40MIN before we were even notified that "our food will be right out"... keep in mind my lunch break is only a hour long, then 30min later still NO FOOD, already 10min late for work, and we ended up having to take our food to go.
