Smokehouse Combo: Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, House BBQ Ribs, Chicken Crispers

Late night Chicken tender cravings had my family and I traveling to our nearest chilis for their chicken crispers! The restaurant was relatively quiet as it was closer to 9 and we were seated relatively quickly. After getting our order, we got our food within 20 minutes. The food arrived nice and hot and the chicken crispers definitely lived up to their name! They had a nice crunch with every bite! Ribs and quesadillas were quite tasty too! Overall, a very nice chicken tendie run, definitely beats canes in my opinion!

We ordered several items in the menu but a couple of them were on the salty side. Luckily, our server was proactive and he didn't hesitate to change the dish to another one that has less salt flavor. He even gave us a refill of our sodas before we even asked. Kudos to the employee!

Located in the Falcon Ridge Shopping Center, off the 15 Fwy Summit Ave exit, was our destination for takeout, where we placed our order at the counter, noting the restaurant's busy atmosphere today, with a wait time of 15 minutes. My daughter chose bone-in wings with sauce on the side and a Big Mouth Cheese burger. Their first time eating chili's and they like what they selected.

Came to Chili's after a 8th grade promotion, and they handled it pretty well. Staff was friendly and only took us a party of 8 to get seated about 15-20 mins. Restaurant was clean and bright had had tvs to watch dodgers and nba playoffs. Couple of us ordered the 3 for me. Drink / app-soup / entree. I ordered the burger with fries and their baked potato soup. Everything was hot and tasted good. Steaks were cooked to everyone's liking. Only thing that wasn't liked was the enormous cheese stick, liked the good old days when you could get them smaller and had a few of them. The young Asian waitress did a great job, didn't catch her name it was kinda loud in there. But she refilled our drinks promptly and checked on us often.

Jan 10th 7:30 pm My whole freaking car stinks like armpit because someone poured a whole bottle of cumin in this salsa. Got home and was punched in the face by the smell as soon as I opened it. Food is always decent but this is forsure the last time I'll eat salsa from chilis

She took so long to take our drink order after we sat down, that we were ready to order our food when she came around. After she took our drink and food order, we waited 15 mins, and still no drinks. I actually had to ask another waitress for water. When our waitress came by we reminded her about not getting our drinks yet and she copped an attitude and was like "we were busy, yeah I asked someone else to bring the water". Ok. No need to be rude. Thankfully the food was good, so at least that was enjoyable. Our waitress never came by once to check up on us, as we watched other waitresses be more attentive at other tables. Honestly I've had better service at McDonald's. That's embarrassing for a restaurant like The Cut where food prices are not cheap. I'm sure it was just this one individual that was performing poorly, but it left us with a bad experience where we simply don't want to come back, and take our business elsewhere.

The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5

I called to let them know and they were completely understanding! When we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly. Waters were brought to the table quickly as well. The decor in this place is amazing! They were also playing really good music! We started with the combination carpaccio which was perfect because we each got to try the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. It was delicious! Then we ordered the Surf & Turf roll which is spicy crab and coconut shrimp, topped with seared Wagyu, truffle oil yuzu, and eel sauce--absolutely incredible! Next was the Kuwada roll which is crab, avocado and tempura flakes, topped with baked lobster, eel sauce, and masago. The presentation on this one was extraordinary--and the flavor was amazing! Finally we finished with the Shrimp Lover Roll which is crab shrimp tempura and cucumber, topped with shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce--another winner! Jojo did an excellent job serving and clearing plates, as well as keeping our water filled! This place is a treasure and I can't wait to go back!

In our opinion, it's one of the best steakhouse options in the area. We've visited during weekday lunches, dinners, and busy weekends. Since there aren't many steakhouses nearby, this location gets packed. On especially busy days, the wait can be anywhere from one to two hours. Thankfully, they offer an online waitlist, which helps a lot because you can add your name before heading over. My husband and I usually order the prime rib, and their creamy horseradish sauce is one of my favorite parts of the meal. My parents normally get the T-bone or ribeye, and even my daughter loves the steak here. The steaks are usually cooked correctly. There have been a few times when ours came out slightly more done than requested during a rush, but they were still good, and the staff is quick to correct mistakes when needed. Of course, the fresh rolls with cinnamon butter are always a family favorite. Their sides and drinks are also good, although some of the sides can occasionally be a little salty. The restaurant is impressively clean considering how busy it stays. Just know that the atmosphere is usually loud, crowded, and energetic--not the place for a quiet dinner. Parking can also be difficult. They have their own lot, but it fills up quickly. My husband once brought friends here, and one of them said the food at this location tasted better than other Texas Roadhouse locations he had visited. We don't have another location to compare it to, but we'll take his word for it! Whenever our family is craving steak, this location consistently hits the spot.

Unfortunately, this location was a bit of a letdown. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, feels polished and comfortable for a relaxing casual dinner. Service was fine. We were led to the outdoor patio; the noise level was average. The adults started with a beer and an Old Fashioned, and everything seemed promising at first with attentive service by Ben. For dinner, the two girls in our group, both 11 years old, decided to share the steak frites and the cheddar biscuits. At around $40, we expected the protein portion to be a little more substantial, at least enough for two girls to share. What came out felt like a 4 ounces serving (at best) of steak with at least half a pound of seasoned fries. The fries were fine, but the steak was tough, even after we cut it into smaller pieces for them. The girls were disappointed, especially since they were excited to share something a little more grown-up. The cheddar biscuits were meh, lacking cheddar flavor. My husband had the classic burger with fries which was just okay although the patty was a bit overcooked since he asked for medium rare. It was average at best. I opted for the summer chicken plate. The salad that came with it was actually the best part of the meal. The lemon basil vinaigrette was light and really complement the romaine lettuce. Unfortunately, the chicken itself was dry and tough. Our server described it as a half chicken with hot honey sauce, but the sauce didn't really taste spicy or honey-like. It was more like a very light maple syrup. We ended up using ranch dressing to help the chicken along, which says a lot. I wanted to like Paul Martin's but based on this visit, the food just didn't deliver. With so many other dinner options at Victoria Gardens, it is hard to justify coming back when the main dishes were this underwhelming.
