Waiter was very racist, she was light skin and had curly hair. I am a latino male and walked in with my latina mom. We had sat down and then a party of 6 gets sat down by the same server and gets drinks and even nachos before she comes by to take our drinks. We order and then the food comes by. After than she came by and asked if we wanted refills, i said yes. She never gave me my refill and i see her go by tables and booths that are right next to ours, giving them refills, orders, apps, desserts but we get nothing. To make it worse, my 2 friends came by and sat at our booth, they came in after we had ate our food. They asked the server for a drink and she never gave it to them. She even looked straight at us but never even gave my latino friend and latina friend her drink. Worst customer service ever. I give it a 2 star rating due to the fact they make you wait for way to long. It is not that great. If it wasn't for the Kristin Kreme next door we would have left. I mean 20-30 minutes is reasonable, but when the host are giving different times to the customers walking in. They are full of you know what. Looking around the dining area there are open tables. So why? Why 51 minutes to wait? Unacceptable. This falls on the GM and front house manager. You completely ruined our date night. Ordered $31 worth of food last night to be delivered. Requested food be left at door since it was after 10 when I ordered and had finally gotten the toddlers to sleep. Not only did the DoorDash guy (Chili's uses them) ring the door bell, but he brought the wrong order to us. I called Chili's and was told I could cancel the order and place it again (which would be after they closed by then and that would cancel my order again at that point) or they could see about a refund. Once they verified if they could refund us, they abruptly hung up. So, no food and we will wait days before that money is back in our account. No hint of customer service or apology received either. read more

Terrible host service. Second attempt eating here. The first time the hostess looked at us and said "there's not silverware so I don't know how long it will be". Obviously indicating that they didn't want us to bother staying. Today a month later tried again. The same hostess told us it would be 10-15 minutes. A few other groups came in after us and the app suddenly showed us 4th in line rather than the next available. Out of all the restaurants I go to I'm always served an impossible burger or beyond burger. Chili's is the only restaurant that has a disgusting gross bean burger. I don't think anybody should even attempt to eat. They do not serve anything else vegan meat but this disgusting gross bean burger. This is about the Chili's Restaurant located off Marsh Landing Parkway in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. About a week ago I witnessed a woman with a truck full of lawn mowing equipment, tools and trash as well as other tools unload her big truck in the parking lot of Chili's Restaurant. She chose the two parking spaces out of three that face the retention pond in Chili's Restaurant parking lot. This is prime parking space as Chili customer like to come there and park and eat and watch the Canadian geese and wood ducks frolicking in the retention lake owned by the city. But no more thanks to this woman and the Mgr of this Chili Restaurant. She was going to pile all this trash about 6 ft high in all three parking spaces facing the lake but when I asked her what she was doing leaving all that garbage and trash in the three parking spaces where Chili customer's love to park their cars overlooking the peaceful retention lake and watch the Canadian geese and ducks frolic in the water. She threatened me that she would take care of me if I didn't leave her alone and the mgr of Chili's told her she could do this. But she unloaded in two parking spaces and left one for me to pull in. Then she drove off and left all that trash in the other two parking spaces with a couple of friends. Twice while she was unloading her truck, I walked into Chili's and tried to get the manager to come out and see what she was doing so he would tell her to stop and not leave that trash in the parking spaces. But he said he was too busy. Several days later when the trash was still there I stopped by and he said he regretted not doing anything about this and was trying to find someone to come and move the trash somewhere else. A week later the trash is still piled as high as 6 feet in both parking spaces and no one has done anything. So I did all I could do and filed a Code Violation Complaint with the City of Jacksonville Beach online for the piles of unsightly garbage and trash blocking the views in this Chili parking lot at Marsh Landing Parkway in Jacksonville Beach. If you want to see what I am talking about Chili's parking lot is across from Target in Jacksonville. I don't think anyone wants those tools left behind in that trash but you would have to check with the mgr of Chili's. read more

Burger was great 3 uears ago....they shrunk it and jacked price over $10... saw a deal on TV where they figured it out and said "Bigger burger and small price 6.99.....we went.....it was still $10, no didferent in size ....oh well. I like Chillis, but there was a problem with their menu and the actual food. The Prime Rib burrito has no Prime Rib meat at all and it is misleading, they use chuck roast beef. The menu is constantly changing and I'm not sure for the best, I've tried a few of their new items (the chicken bowl- like chipotle) and not so much of a fan. But what keeps me coming back is the queso, but lately I haven't been the biggest fan. Another new addiction I've found is the cheese fries. They have the BEST ranch also! The past two times they've had a deal for 3 for 10. This includes chips or salad, (one week was a burger and the next was fajitas) and a mini chocolate fudge lava cake. The chips is a huge app, I thought it'd be a small size, but no- enough for the entire table. The burger was eh, not a fan of chilis burgers, the fajitas were surprisingly good. I didn't have the highest hopes but ordered anyways, although the pork was a little dry it was so good, I was happy with my choice. Last but not least the mini lava cake. I came once and waited nearly 35 minutes for it, it was the whole reason I ordered the deal. It was like our waitress forgot about us, what we get for paying and tipping before getting our food. And when we finally got it, they were on dirty dishes and the cake itself was stale, the "lava" chocolate on the inside was still frozen. It was a huge disappointment. My family must like Chili's, this is my 3rd location reviewed! We did a pick up order during the COVID-19 quarantine. Got the terrific priced 3 for $10 special- starter, entree and non-alcoholic drink. For starters we chose Caesar salad and orig chili, they have a good selection and a few premiums for only $1 more. Both of us got the just because burger, which had a choice of sides, it was yummy, cooked as requested...only suggestion here would be packets of condiments. It came with bacon, cheese, pickle, onion and tomato- we had mayo and mustard at home. I got coleslaw and hubby got loaded mashed potato, they were both good and packaged great for takeout. The food was enough that I had half my burger and salad and the other half w/coleslaw later! It was cool the margarita came with lime and salt packaged separately, when we dine in restaurant, hubby usually says no salt and there was nowhere to request that for a pickup order. All in all, I prefer eating in the restaurant, but a great meal at home at a great price! read more

I usually don't like reviewing chain restaurants like this cause these cookie cutter Americana fare food restaurants are everywhere and everyone has been to one. I was compelled to change my stance this time though because my experience was quite unique. It was family dinner night. We try to go out every once in a while to get the minions used to eating out and behaving in a public setting. It's always a challenge finding a restaurant that caters to both kids and adults where patrons won't be disturbed if the kiddos act up. We chose Chili's cause it was close and met our criteria. It has been years since I've been to a Chili's. I remember back then that I was turned off by the atmosphere because I couldn't differentiate it from the Applebees across the street or any TGI Fridays. This time was different. They didn't have any posters/memorabilia of old movies, no pictures of 80's actors and 90's child stars, and gone are the over abundant in your face advertisements for their ribs, wild onion, and margaritas. The interior is a bit more modern now and the ads are kept on the table on a small flip book. Even the menu had some improvements and new additions. The most noticeable addition to the restaurant, was the tablet. The tech-geek in me couldn't get over how you can do everything from play games, order food, call your server and pay the bill. It made the whole dining experience seamless. Every restaurant should have this! How long has this been around?! There will probably be debates on whether technology at a restaurant is a boon or a distraction, but for my family night, it worked. Mom and Dad were full, the kids were entertained and fed, and we made it out without any spilled drinks or broken glassware. I call that a successful family night. Thanks Chili's! read more

Ordered takeout last night and was our first time ever eating from a Chili's. Terrible food. Loaded tacos was NOT what I expected. Who takes individual nachos and load them up only to be a total sog fest. Nachos are crunchy for a reason and this was not loaded nachos. Chili's is what it is...nothing special but definitely worth a stop in for some Happy Hour specials. I stopped in on Saturday for some drinks with some girlfriends and it was nice. Our server was friendly and helpful. My two drinks were really cheap (yea!) and very good. I was the only one not eating in my group, but between the salad, buffalo wings, avocado burger and queso that was sitting in front of me that day it's safe to say I have a pretty good idea of what I'd order the next time I am there. All in all, I would say that as far as chain restaurants go, Chili's ranks higher on my list than others so I'll be back at some point I'm sure. read more

Generally a good experience every time we go. But the menu literally is 100% different every time. Mixed drinks were buy one get one. So I had a few they were great. Our waiter was awesome. How would chili's feel if I only paid for part of my order? Absolutely unacceptable. The least they can do before sending an order out is check the accuracy of that order. Microwaved food? The Rib-eye that I ordered was spot on amazing. However, the chefs are lacking in quality regarding a few side orders. The fries tasted bland and the mash potatos tasted sour and had the tecture you get from microwaved food. It also was presented very badly plating-wise. On top of the mashed potatoes tasting sour, as if the potatos or cheese had gone bad or possibly the milk, I did not get straight answers and they remade it and they tried to use the steak juice excuse. Quality control back there guys. You also need a significant remodel. Customers shouldn't have to look at yellow warning tape in the lounge area eating. It makes the place look unappealing. The paint on the wall was really bad too. It looked like the place hadn't been painted or remodeled since they opened. The only good thing environmental-wise was the service. I tip 50% when the server is good. I expect a manager or a chef to come out when I send side orders back twice. read more
