We're frequent customers and keep coming back because the staff is always friendly and treats us well. The food is good, and the Coke products are usually on point. While eating out anywhere these days can get pricey, in my experience Chili's is still one of the more affordable choices, especially for a large family. We had really been coming around to Chili's again and after some bowling with friends we needed come food and drinks and like that Chili's become the place. We arrived around 5:45PM on a Sunday and had no problem getting a table. Once seated our waitress quickly come up to take our drink order. I of course had to do their Marg of the Month for June 2025 which was the Summer Spritz Marg for $6 which is a margarita made with El Jimador® Silver Tequila, Cointreau®, house-made sour, Monin Blackberry, and a splash of Soda Water. I of course also pulled out my Chili's app which gets you free Chips and Salsa. Within a few minutes our Summer Spritz Margs came out, even before our waters...Nice. They were just alright but for $6 you can't beat them. The Chips and Salsa were very good as always. Chili's thin crispy chips are always some of the best. For my entree, well kinda an entree I got myself my own Triple Dipper (bad move it's sooooo much). I got Nashville Hot Mozzarella, Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers, and Nashville Hot Chicken Crispers. On our 3rd round of Chips and Salsa our food came out. In the Triple Dipper my order came with 3 crispers of the 2 flavors I picked and 2 Mozz. The Honey Chipotle Crispers were great as always.. Chili's does have some of the best fast food tenders in the game. The Nashville Hot Mozz and Crispers were both good but very salty. They put a lot of the dry seasoning on it. Much more then the last Chili's I was at. They also were not very spicy. They were still good just overly salty but nothing their delicious Ranch couldn't help with. I will say Chili's is for sure still one of my favorite chain fast casual restaurants and will continue to come cause I gotta have that Triple Dipper. I went to chilis and payed $90 for the meals and expected good service, I was very wrong! At first we booked a seat and they said to wait 15+ minutes but the bar tables were free so we booked that. The Nashville hot mozz sticks were very disappointing, barely any spice. Worse, I got served my burger medium rare without asking what kind of cooked patty o want and if you didn't know that if you cook ground beef at least 160F it's safe but below you can possibly get E. Coli? This was a health safety breach! Also somebody else that went with me got their order made wrong 2 TIMES! This shows the resturant did not pay attention to anything. The ambience was good inside with nice lighting and a good theme though. When we walked out the entry smells of mildew and the outside smelled like burnt cigarettes and rotting food. I will say that their chili cheese fries were good and if I would have ordered fajitas like my date then I might've given another star. Their ribs are just not for me and I think it's because I love ribs so much that I always judge a bit harder in that category. I have decided that this review is going to be solely based upon customer service, something that is vitally important to me when going to establishment. Like most of us I work very hard for the money that I earned so I want to get value when I spend. Value for me is not only the quality of food such as in this case but the customer service. When I first arrived a young man had told me that we already had our table call had because we were a table of 10. He had a great sense of humor and explain to me that he will be starting as a server soon but right now he was a host. He was off to a good start. Tonight the food was not up to par by no means however the customer service that we received from our waiter, Ronald and then from Dave, the manager was spectacular. Their efforts to correct the mistakes and there were numerous mistakes tonight from the kitchen goes beyond reproach. I thought long and hard about what I would score them for their stars and realized that Ronald and Dave truly emulate what customer service should be. The mistakes of the kitchen where acknowledged and I do believe in my heart of hearts that Dave is truly going to get to the root cause of the kitchen not following the instructions given by Ronald. Ronald was really good about repeating back what was asked for to ensure clarity and demonstrate that he was listening to the customer. When the orders went awry Dave got involved. He was very genuine and his concern was demonstrated by his actions of customer service to resolve the mistakes of the kitchen. Not only was he apologetic but he did what I consider in my book to be the best thing ever and that is not to make excuses rather demonstrate how you're going to fix it. That is the sign of a true leader one who will fix the problem and not focus on the excuses of why it happened. I would try this Chili's again for the sole reason of Ronald and Dave. If you go to this location (San Jose Blvd) ask for the two of them and you cannot go wrong. read more

This Chilis used to be one of our regular restaurants that we visited for an evening out, their happy hour was always a good draw, and the food was pretty good for the price. It just seems to have declined in the past few years. Like the restaurant seems to be in a little disarray. Like it could use a thorough cleaning. The server was friendly and the food came out quickly. They even offer rewards if you download their app and visit the restaurant every 60 days. I had a free queso appetizer, and I love their salsa, so it was a no-brain however the chips were slightly over done and on the greasy side. We also had an abundance of small broken chips. I ordered the Santa Fe grilled chicken salad. The chicken was prepared well and it had a little bit of spice. It would have been better if they used romaine or another type of lettuce other than just iceberg, as it was a little lack-luster. We swung in on a Sunday afternoon for a lunch. I was tired and I felt like I was a little hung over from the night before, but I wasn't really hung over. We had been running around looking for some beach chairs and our last stop was for groceries and I didn't want to perform that chore hungry. The bar tender was attentive and quick with our needs. We ordered some chips and a white spinach queso. They brought out the skillet queso and we sent it back; but the skillet queso looked fresh and good. Our appetizer was delicious. The chips and salsa seemed fresh, like they just made them and they hadn't been sitting around. My wife ordered a ribeye and I ordered a burger. We both knew that we wouldn't eat it all and it would be a second meal for us and we were right. Her steak was perfectly cooked for her. My burger was huge and the fries were tasty. Btw, we both took our leftovers and added them to a salad the next night. I ditched the bun, heated up the burger and added it to my salad with a dab of blue-cheese dressing. My wife reheated her steak and added it to her salad. We split the last handful of fries after a reheat in the air fryer. I would go back. I went there unfortunately today and had a lackluster salad, very disgusting. That was not the worst part, it was hot and humid in there just like it was outside no difference. When I complained the manager, kind of laughed it off and said, the back of the house has it way worse they are cooking and it is five times hotter back there. I wasn't laughing, it's serious. People are dying from heat stroke every day, and this establishment is working these people under uninhabitable conditions. Now, Chili's gets a bad reputation these days and I had the same opinion of them when their baby back ribs declined in quality becoming a shadow of their former selves, back in the good days where they actually advertised them. However! There are gems in this menu and I'm fortunate enough to have found 3 to satisfy myself for the foreseeable future. Honey Chipotle Crispers; perfect crunch matched with ultimate spicy and sweet. These are also very consistent in quality, I've never had a bad crisper in the years I've gotten this meal. I'd even go so far to say they created a perfect entree. Definitely recommend. Burgers; this depends on your personal preference like toppings and how you like them cooked but Chili's serves up a damn good burger. Chili's goes beyond your typical "Outdoors Dad Burger" yet doesn't quite reach the upper echelons of eateries specializing in the burger. And finally the carnitas fajitas; the other fajitas are ok but Chili's competitors look and taste the same so it just makes all of them (Chili's included) seem basic and lacking. The carnitas fajitas are great! Heck, if you dislike tortillas then you still have delicious marinated grilled meat with all those side toppings, so grab a fork and you're set! All in all, the days of the Chili's good at ribs is over, so stop ordering them! It's one of their weakest items now, stop hurting yourself. Get a burger or some Crispers, those seem to be closer to what the CURRENT Chili's is better at. Verdict: Avoid the ribs and you're good. My coworker and I finally settled for the 2 for $20 dinner. We got our chips and salsa appetizer about 5 minutes later and they were so good! The chips were super crispy and warm and the salsa was the right amount of spiciness. As we were eating we toyed around with the little black tv machines on the table. They are definitely pretty neat, but I wouldn't pay 99¢ to play games on there. I did like that you could order dessert and pay your check on there with a card. And you could even split the check up to 3 times - sweeet! About 5min after that, we were approached by by this awesome balloon guy (his name is Joe) and asked if we had any requests. My coworker said it was her birthday and shed like a turtle. He did that and made me a cat one, and boy were they do cute. We felt bad that we didn't have money to tip him :/ Anyways, our food came in about 15min later and it was so great! I got the chicken crispers with buffalo sauce and my coworker got the same with no sauce mixed in. We only ate about half because we munched through so many chips and salsa. Haven't been to a Chili's in a while. This is my first time at this location. It's funny that I live on this side of the city and never went to this chili. The interior has changed a lot from what I remember. It looks much cleaner and more modern. Of course, we had to wait about 15 minutes before they could find us a table. I love how they have the tablets on each table. You can scroll through each menu item and see how the foods look like for the items that do not have pictures in the menu. I came here with my future father-in-law, sister-in-law, and her daughter for dinner. We came for the family bundle deal for $30 which includes an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 kids entrees, and a shared dessert. Very great deal for a family. We got the Fresh Guacamole Chips and Salsa, Margarita Grilled Chicken with skillet mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli, 1/2 rack of ribs with fries, 2 grilled chicken kids meal. The chips and salsa was good. The chips are thinner than what I remember in the past. The guacamole was fresh and tasted just right. The Margarita Grilled Chicken was tender, very moist, and my sister-in-law made a point that it looked and tasted like "fake" chicken. I can see and taste by what she meant. It was kind of awkward to see chicken breast being sliced to cleanly and rarely any chicken mean streaks that you usually see. I still ate it anyways as I was really hungry. The skillet mashed potatoes was good and the steamed broccoli was cooked just right, not so soggy and not so raw. The best part was the Molten Chocolate Cake. Love the ice cream in the choco cake method. LOL. Always my favorite. You can never mess up on that dessert. Very cold and warm at the same time. Walked to our table and spent the first 10 mins scrubbing the caked on food off of the high chair. The waitress told me that she was willing to grab another but they were all dirtier than the one we already had. About 5 mins later our water and appetizer came to the table. The cups that help our water were also covered in old caked on food. We got up to leave and told the hostess what had happened. Her reply was " yeah, yeah, ok. Have a good day." We will not be back. The only reason I selected one star is because it was the lowest possible rating I could give this restaurant. My boyfriend ordered Cajun chicken pasta and when he took a bite out of it if it was very cold and we notified a waitress, who took the food. She returned a minute later with the same plate of food that was steaming hot,thus indicating it has been microwaved. My question for the owner of this Chili's is why is already eaten food being reheated instead of remaking the food? Major health code violation. read more

With Jacksonville having so many Burger Joints that you could choose from, what would stop me from trying one from Chilis. I'm normally a Fajita guy but for this trip I decided to go with their Chilis Chili Burger which I might add is pretty good if you are in to that type of thing. It comes with Angus beef, shredded and American cheese with tortilla strips. Very Juicy and fulfilling along with some decent fries. Lee and Amy are our personal favorites and since we go here almost every Friday one would say we must REALLY like this place and them! Yes, it's a chain restaurant, so the menu is predictable but it's good and consistent. (Again we're here all the time so we would know about consistency).
