Food is always pretty good at this location... however several parties walked in before and after my husband and I, NONE wearing masks. We received our food and halfway through our meal a man came over and was asking if he could take away our plates that had nearly full meals on them.. not even two minutes after, our waitress comes over and pulls up our bill. I took my daughter here over Christmas break and we ordered the SHARE AN APPETIZER & TWO FULL-SIZE ENTREES for $20,00. We got the BOTTOMLESS TOSTADA CHIPS for our appetizer, I got the CHICKEN CRISPER'S and she ordered the CHICKEN FAJITAS. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, but the service was. It was a guy who served us. (Should have got his name but I didn't. HE was tall..... does that help?) anyway he was overly helpful. We didn't realize there was the $20.00 dollar deal till after we had ordered and started the appetizer. He was very accommodating, and fixed everything to work out to the 20 dollar deal. He was quick and efficient, the food came out relatively soon and he would always check on us to see if we needed anything. Our overall experience was meh. I'm not a food snob, but the meals were just okay. I got the Triple Dipper (three apps) and hubby got the shrimp tacos. They weren't busy and it took a good 20-25 minutes to get our food--and mine was missing the Philly sliders (we were told something about the chef but it sounded lame)--but then I got them like two minutes later. Sadly, the sliders were seriously lacking in substance--literally--one had maybe a tablespoon of meat on it with no peppers or onions. Seriously? That took 30 minutes? Hubby wondered where the avocado was on his tacos...oh, there it was, one tiny piece on each taco. At least our kid's side order of fries came out ASAP and were hot and tasty. Although the servers are usually friendly, we usually have to wait a LONG time for our food at this location. Actually, everything seems to take a long time - drinks from the bar, waiting to place our order, waiting for the food, waiting for the bill. Last time I came, my burger patty was over-cooked, broken in half and didn't come as the menu stated, with red onion. Also, the kid's meals that we requested come out first, came out AFTER the adult's food. We keep coming back because we love the food and the 2 for $20, but this location doesn't seem equipped to handle busy Jacksonville weekend nights and/or the wait staff and the cooking staff are in need of some additional training. read more

I've gone here three times, and none of these times have I've gotten good service. Time #1: Had to argue with the waitress that my burger was undercooked. Then had to argue with the manager that my burger was undercooked. I am usually the nicest, most understanding person when it comes to food at a restaurant- after all, I am a waitress, but to not fix something when it's wrong just frustrates me. So normally I am very nice about my reviews and do them for fun but, the visit I had today was terrible. This is going to be lengthy but I want it to be perfectly clear for anyone wondering how the location is. I love chili's and have been going for years. I know the menu inside and out and I do have my favorites. My coworker called in two days prior to make arrangements for a 30+ party. They sat us down quickly and easily took up over half of one side of the restaurant. We got there at 6 pm to keep in mind. The waiter who looked like he didn't shower for a week took our drink order at 605 pm. We didn't even recieve our drink until 645. We placed our dinner order finally after the table got drinks at 745 pm. We didn't receive our food until 835 and we asked for ours to go because we had already stayed waiting way to long. The only time the actual waiter spoke to us was to get our drink and food order. Nobody in the 30+ person tables or booths ever received any Chips that come complimentary nor did anyone receive a refill. The manager finally cams over to help the struggling staff member assigned to our party to help. She quickly left to the front door to continue chatting with her coworker friend. The food was cold. The order was wrong. The tickets the waiter messed up giving them to us. They wouldn't come back to even let us pay for our food. Manager still relaxing at the door. Everyone in the restaurant got to eat promptly and we were stuck there legally obligated to pay for our food instead of just walking out for nearly 3 hours. I will never ever tell another soul to eat at this location. I love chili's but this location will never get another dime from me or anyone that ever says chili's in my friends , groups, coworkers, or family. Until it is in everyone's mind of what happened today to not happen to anyone else. The employees obviously Dont care about a party or customers. The restrooms were not clean but who is there even to tell when the manager and only waiter for our table are Mia. When we finally got home our food in to go boxes were burnt from the heat lamp they sat in the window so long. There isn't one thing they got right and I will never give them a second chance. Why would you sit so many know in advance and let the table suffer. We made sure everyone knew not to tip because nobody cared at that location. Beer selection is okay just not that much variety. Last time my hubby and I were in we decided to split a turkey burger for a lighter less greasy choice as we were on our motorcycle...it was not cooked all the way through, I mean it was ice cold raw inside and hot on the outside. We ordered takeout from this Chili's location through DoorDash. My husband got ribs and they were fine. I got the shrimp fresh mex bowl and I was appalled. I typically do not write reviews and when I do they're good reviews. But I feel the need to warn people about this location now due to the issues with my food. The shrimp came SEVERELY undercooked. I put one in my mouth without even paying much attention (assuming my food would be properly cooked) and I immediately spit it out once I bit down. I could just tell from the texture that it was not fully cooked. I proceeded to look at the rest of the shrimp and sure enough they were not thoroughly cooked. They were all limp, did not have an opaque orangish-pink and white color, and still had those tiny brown dots that raw shrimp have. I will literally never order from this location again. read more

Our waitress never came to check on us until the very end. I had been trying to get her attention for half of our meal because she never gave us napkins and we needed more drinks. The actual meat of the burger I ordered was really good. Figured I would order what the first Chili's was made famous for, but it was ok at best. The meal had been sitting for quite some time under a heat lamp or just the counter because the bun was completely soggy and the fries had already gotten cold. I've had chili's in a variety of different places. Germany and in the states and I must say this one took the whole bakery. Me and the wife ordered the food for curb side pick up and when we got home and began eating everything was fine till we went to the chips and salsa we had ordered with our meal. When we poured the salsa into a bowl to heat up with the chips we found chip pieces already in the salsa. Only two things came to mind how this could of happened. Either the workers are eating the salsa and decided to toss the salsa into a serving container for the customers or they are reusing salsa that has already been served. On 2/12/12 I went to Chili's with a friend for lunch around two. There was a nice sized crowd in there, but we were immediately sat. It all went downhill from there. We ordered our drinks and my glass had something floating in it. I pointed this out to our server and he brought me another drink. It tasted soapy. I had my friend try it as well and she also thought it tasted awful as well. It also turned out to have something floating in it. After that we cancealed our orders and left. Our server's name was Jacob and he was slow and inattentive. I had to flag him down because he would pass our table without checking in on us. If I could give this place zero stars I would but since he didn't charge us for our drinks I give it one star but begrudingly. My girlfriend and I had dinner here the other night. The drinks were great and so was the wait staff. Our waitress especially was very professional and made you feel welcome. We ordered the queso skillet and they brought out the chips first. Didn't get our full appetizer until the same time our food came out. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and she ordered the chicken tenders. They both tasted like the chicken was freezer burnt. Very disappointed. A+ on the waitress though. read more
