Well well...after coming here for over a decade, I can finally write a review I am happy with! This review gets 5 stars for one reason: our server named Elizabeth who said she was one of the originals when this restaurant opened 18 years ago. So cool! On a Saturday night about 7:30pm, we got seated right away and with options! We chose a booth inside (instead of the bar stool tables or outside on the patio). Elizabeth came to us right away. She was extremely efficient, friendly, and her customer service was off the chart! I asked her for her name and I told her she has been my favorite server there EVER. She is such a kind and gracious lady, Chili's is lucky to have her! I also applaud Chili's for being an equal-opportunity employer. So we went on a Friday night and knew it would be busy. Waited 30 minutes, not bad. But after getting seated we literally sat there for a good 20 minutes and not a single person even acknowledged we were there. People that were say after us got their orders in right away. My daughter had to go ask the host to get a waitress. When the waitress finally came she brought us plastic silverware....no clue why. Everyone else had regular silverware. We got our food no problem but waitress hardly came back to check on us, brought the wrong drinks and then brought over a drink refill with what looked like black mold in the ice. read more

Made an online order for curbside take out and also paid online. Got an email notification that my order would be ready in about 20mins. Cool...so the hubby and I drive over there in 20 mins and BAM! There were about 50 people outside waiting in the parking lot. Not sure what was going on, so we park and I call the restaurant to see if my food was ready. It kept ringing and ringing. I stepped out of the car, walked towards the restaurant and I could hear their phone ringing. I was on the phone for about 20mins and decided to hang up. I wasn't sure how they were distributing the orders, but there were signs on the restaurant windows instructing customers to stay in their vehicles and they will bring their food out to you. I asked those around me what was happening, and they all told me that they have been waiting for their orders; some waiting for over an hour. One said that they're coming out of the restaurant with food and calling out names when your order is ready. So, 30 minutes go by and I'm like, ok maybe I'll just talk to a staff member myself. I happened to talk to a young man passing out orders and I gave him my name and asked if my order was ready. He said he'd check and that was the end of that. He went inside and didn't come back out. Mmmkay. An hour later an older man came out of the restaurant. Not sure if he was the manager, but he made a little announcement saying that they were really backed up and haven't taken calls since 4pm nor are they answering any phone calls. He also said that all Door Dash/Delivery Service orders are NOT being fulfilled and apologized for the inconvenience. He didn't explain what the hold up was or how they're handling the orders. Myself and others just really wanted to know what kind of system they had in place. I mean, are we just waiting outside, did you even get our orders, yeah no. None of that. It was a complete mess. I noticed a lot of the delivery service peeps calling their customers and eventually leaving. Ok so I'm at the 2 hour mark and there were about 10-15 people still waiting. I walk to the entrance of the restaurant and I asked an employee if my food was ready. She said she was taking names down and she'll check on it. Ok. I gave her my name and I waited inside. I saw on their bar counter packages of food and an order ticket (with customer names on it) attached to it. Well there it is. My food. I open the bag, check the food and it is ALL there! Problem is my food is stone COLD!!! Oh my gawww. Really?! So not only did I wait over 2 hours, but my food was on the counter, and had I not checked there, who knows how long more I'd have to wait!? I called over an employee and told him that my order was on the counter. I asked how long it was sitting there, and he really didn't know. He apologized and I asked if they can remake my food. He said sure, but I'd have to wait again. I told him that's fine, so he took back the food and went towards the kitchen. 2.5+ hours since arriving and only a few people around me waiting, I finally got my order. The 1 star rating is for the employees because although they were a hot mess getting orders out (and they knew it), some kept their cool and remained patient with customers. Last minute decision to go out for dinner and decided on Chili's, since it's been a while since we've been here. Got to the restaurant and there was already a line of people waiting to be seated, but decided to wait it out. The hostess said it would be about 25-30 minutes wait. It actually didn't take too long to get seated and we were towards the back corner, which was fine because it's away from the crowd in front. Our waitress was very nice and took good care of us throughout the night. Ordered the egg rolls and chips & queso for appetizers...yummy! I ordered the combo of baby back ribs & BBQ chicken, which comes with corn, fries & garlic bread. The Madre had the Fully Loaded Fajitas - Steak & Shrimp, which comes with warm tortillas, sautéed veggies & condiments- that was yummy too!! We enjoyed the food and our waitress even gave us fresh bag of chips & salsa to take home She Rocks!! Wish I got her name! All in all, it was a nice dinner and glad we waited it out. It's Chilis, people. You get what you'd expect at a Chilis. What makes it a four-star for me is the never-ending Yelp chips and queso check-in. Use it at happy hour and it's a great little pre-gamer! This was our first time at this Chilis. It's an older location but we loved our time at the bar with Steve. Made a visit here on 6/26/2022 around 3pm. What we walked into was obviously a perturbed front end staff meeting. Their bartender looked at us 3 times and at no time decided to acknowledge our presence, nor did anyone from the meeting when it dismissed, including the Manager/Supervisor that was holding the meeting. Finally, we get acknowledged and were told, its going to be a 10 minute wait, there are no tables available. WAIT what? In the whole restaurant was 2 tables being occupied. Come on Chilis, get your marbles together. There are those computer tablets on the table that I can order and pay from, why we need waiters again? and the expectancy is for me to tip? The bus help can deliver the food and clean up, waiter not needed and i needed to wait 10 mins for a table? Since we've been back here in Hawaii, people always ask me my opinion where is the best place to be and I always say Chili's! It is just a fact that our family for many of years has always continue the awesome customer service from the workers there as well as the delicious taste for food that they offer! Love coming to Chili's. Went there recently for my son's birthday dinner. Pros: the food is Awesome!! The wait wasn't too long (about 20mins if that and it was a Friday night). Cons: I don't remember our waitress's name because this is a late review but she wasn't very prompt on clearing our tables or refilling our drinks. Don't believe what you read on the yelp information. Looking for a place specifically for lunch and after looking at a handful of places lunch menus we selected chilis. Waited 10-15 minutes for a table and when sat down and looked at the menu there was no lunch menu. When the host walked by we asked about the lunch menu and was informed they don't have a lunch menu. I was very disappointed with my takeout order. It happened to me twice. I usually check all my orders when I do takeout, but I forgot to before I left. It was my wrong for not double checking. The first time was when they forgot a drink and an order of side fries and vegetable. That time I went back. I've been to many Chilis, but this location has always been a good experience. Located at the Kapolei Shopping Center, you can find tons of parking. It's at the edge of the center near McDonalds and the ATM pitstop. We were seated at a booth amongst a ton of people. For a Wednesday night, they were packed tighter than a sardine can! We were greeted and offered beverages. The staff was pretty cool and had been consistent with the hospitality they offered. I had to get the Smokehouse combo with sausage and ribs. I got it once before and really liked it. It was either that or a triple dipper lol. Which is a go to menu item for its variety, price, and flavor. The sausage tasted great and was nice and juicy. The corn on the cob was cooked perfectly with just enough seasoning and flavor to kick it up a notch. I also enjoyed my ribs. Tender meat and flavorful sauce surrounded these ribs. There were a few pickled cucumber pieces that was just pickled enough. It also had a crisp bite to it. Refreshing! The service was attentive and drinks kept flowing. I love how my drank stayed full all night. Who wants to hunt down a server for a drink? Not me! So yes, I was happy with my service. In this time of staying at home it is so great to have a restaurant with good old fashioned delicious food - and that's Chili's! It's my husband's birthday today and we decided to order in for the very first time with Door Dash. It was easy, quick, and delicious. Nothing like being served in your very own home - at a safe distance of course. We had the Bacon Burger and the Smokehouse Burger with their yummy flavorful fries. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the toppings were just right. No cooking, no cleaning, and a happy full tummy. Mahalo Chili's for continuing to have the greatest food menu around for reasonable prices. I tried to do a review of Door Dash but couldn't find them on Yelp or a way to add them. I've eaten at many Chili's location and this one is by far the worst. I'm usually very understanding, and always look at the situation before being upset. But today it just sucked all around. We called before coming and someone on the phone told us that there is no wait, it was empty and we could just come on in. We didn't need a reservation. Great! We were at Wet n Wild and decided to eat here since it's very close. Literally 5 mins drive. We got there and guess what? We had to wait 45 mins to be seated! That just pissed us off. One thing I notice is ALL Chili's takes a long time to make their food. But we didn't mind. We try to see a reasoning for that. Short staffed? There is only one cook? Who knows. We ordered the food and requested that our kids food come out first with our appetizer. They are toddlers. Starving, grouchy, tired. Their food shouldn't be hard to do since it's basic. We ordered two appetizer and only ONE came out. I assume they forgot the other. So we canceled the other order since our main dish had arrived. And guess what? Our kids orders were forgotten and never been made. Finally my daughters food came but my nieces and nephews food didn't even come out. So they all had to share one dish. Which was my daughters Mac & cheese. My poor niece and nephew were starving. They forgot their food! And again, we requested it to come out first! But their food literally came out last! We were almost done with our food then it finally came out which was another 20 mins. Unacceptable! We tried to be forgiving to our server since it's basically isn't her fault. The reason for the 2 stars is because we ordered alcohol and our alcohol was made by a tall blonde woman. All of our drinks had too much sweet and sour we did not taste the flavor of the alcohol. We got capts castaway first and had to add water to make it drinkable, then we went with something more familiar titos punch our fav, still super sour added water again to drink it. Our first time to Chili's as they are not in Canada. If they were, it would be a real popular place. This place is way better than similar restaurants in Vancouver such as Earls, Cactus Club, Browns Social etc. The service was great from start to finish. Our server was was helpful and gave us a good experience throughout. One of the few servers that could also communicate with the kids. The food was great. Ordered our appies during the last few minutes of happy hour and got $4 off on each. Boneless wings and nachos were some of the best we've ever had. My kids loved their bottomless iced teas. When the food arrived, I was amazed at the size of my fajita plates. Ordered the 3-combo meat and the plates were huge. Chili's know how to feed their customers. And so good. Very rarely do I take food home. My daughter got the beef quesidillas which she loved. My wifes hamburger was one of the better ones around. Looking around at what others were eating, it looked like all the dishes were very good. Good food-better portions-fair price. If I were the proprietor of this franchise I would be deeply troubled on how people were operating this business. My husband and I live down the street and have for years now. Every 6 months or so we say hey let's give them another shot and it always gets worse. From the service in the restaurant to food preparation to the Togo counter. You can always count on them to not have your food ready, have it late and have the order wrong. We used to Love Chili's, I am a former employee of Chili's and its a shame this location is associated with the brand. If I owned it I'd hire new managers, hire new staff because this place is trash. To add insult to injury they have the words "Be Accountable" written on a board in the kitchen visibly and when the manager was confronted she was anything but that. read more

As much as I don't enjoy the trek out to Kapolei in afternoon traffic, we had plans to meet friends for dinner. Even though we had a large group, they were able to seat us in the outdoor area just a few minutes after arriving. Our waitress was fantastic. She made sure that our waters were always refilled, our chip baskets were full, and our orders were exactly what we wanted. Even when we had friends who joined our table after the others ordered, she made sure that their orders were taken quickly and the food was delivered to them as soon as possible. This was the best service at a Chili's on the island that I've received in a long time! I ordered most of my veggie burger ingredients on the side and they were placed on a cute tray for me to "build my own" burger, just as I wanted. (The menu changes at Chili's over the past few years have been much less vegetarian-friendly, so I'm glad that they have a decent veggie burger.) I loved the optional egg on top and the upgrade to the panko-crusted onion rings! I had my niece with me who wasn't feeling good so I flagged down someone again to have our food boxed up, that took another 15-20 minutes. Today tried ordering online for scheduled pickup at a later time, which you go through all the features of date and time you fill in...if you pay with a gift card, click on "carry out" and "pay at restaurant." It doesn't let you do that. Called in and the guy said cannot do that so he took my order, told me how much and than hung up...I called back to tell him I wanted it in an hour...Guess what!?!?
