When we first arrived at Chili's the hostess seated us fairly quickly she had blue hair I didn't catch her name but she was beyond friendly. Our waiter Chris was really friendly and considerate with the placing with our food because we have a toddler that loves to grab everything. Ordered take out from here last night and was told 30 minutes. Got to the restaurant at 30 minutes and had to go inside to pay because app was acting up. Couldn't get any of the three machines they had to accept my member phone number for my coupon so entered it manually. Waited over 45 minutes from then, watching car after car come and pick up their order. Kept hearing, off in the distance and never directly to me, that they were short staffed, but I saw people standing around in the kitchen. I guess the "pasta boiler" was off. ‍ Finally got my order and upon checking it, the queso container was only half full. I asked them to fill it up since I had waited for so long. I was given attitude by the young girl working as if I had asked for the moon even though I had tipped them generously when I paid for my order. I say that because I heard them complaining about how many people didn't tip them. Although the young man working the desk was nice and tried to help speed things along, Customer service was lacking in the manager and the staff as I sat there. I can honestly understand the 45 wait at 6:15 on a Friday evening. They seemed severely understaffed and there was a rush for some reason. We came to chili's mostly to feed my 1.5 year old and 3.5 year old before a night at their grandma's house, something quick, easy and reliable. This visit had none of those features. ALL our food was inedible, even the kiddos wouldn't touch it. The margaritas were delicious as usual, but they also seem to split the 2oz of tequila between both drinks since it was two for one happy hour. The adult food wasn't hardly touched, way too dry and chewy. Kids ordered chicken tenders and a quesadilla, tenders were hard and all breading and gristle, quesadilla was burned with enough cheese to just be able to say it came with cheese. The manager took care of our bill, we tipped our embarrassed waiter, and kiddos got happy meals on the way home. No waisted money, only 1.5 hours of our time. read more

Went early (3pm) and had to wait to get a table because not many people working, BUT went to the bar and the drinks were GOOD and inexpensive. Service was slow when we got a table and it took a while to get an order in. Food did come (only forgetting one item which they did remedy) and was a mixed bag. Salads were okay and fries were good. My wife's ribeye was just barely passable but my ribs were quite good. I ordered a full rack and was able to order half dry rub and half honey and Chipotle. Plenty to take home and enjoy again. Second drink was just as good and strong as the first. Note: paid at the table pad with a combination of gift cards and it mostly stiffed the waitress, who wasn't able to get it straightened out. The business got theirs and let it go at that...so called the waitress over to give her cash. Please check and make sure that your server gets what they deserve. Everything was okay until the end. Tried to pay using the table kiosk and it kept lighting yellow saying "terminal failure". So the waitress too the credit card to the back to scan it... when she returned, she brought the receipt and a pen, no credit card. We asked immediately about the card... the first place she checked was her jean pockets..? Is it customary for folks to put patrons credit cards in their pants pockets? Long story short, the restaurant is saying they can't find the card... someone else (not our waitress) came to the table and wrote down our phone number and will call us if they find it. Of course, we leave for vacation in the morning so timing sucks and whoever took down our information seemed pretty unbothered by that information. My fiancé, friend, and I ate dinner here one night and we were very impressed at the quality of food and how fast our order came out. Everything was too hot to eat at first but I'd rather that then it be too cold. My friend was offended when the waitress called her a "sir" when clearly she isn't a man, so that got things a little bumpy, and they were out of something my fiance had ordered. We usually have a pretty good experience at this location. Servers are usually friendly and food comes out pretty quickly. Today was very different. To start things off, my child and I waited at the front door for about 7 minutes before we were greeted, or even acknowledged by anyone for that matter. Then when the hostess finally welcomed us, she said there was no more available seating. Now I made sure to come around 4pm as to beat the dinner rush and avoid lots of noise because my daughter loves chili's but has autism, so the noise causes her to have meltdowns. She said the only option was to sit in the bar area (she didn't offer for us to wait or go sit in a section that a waiter wasn't serving at yet, like she did with the family that came in 5 seconds before us). I even asked her if there was somewhere less loud and she said, "No, it's not that loud over there." So we sat there. By the way, it was extremely loud because you heard EVERYTHING!!! The loud people drinking, slamming of dishes, dragging of stools, everyone who came into the restaurant and waited loudly to be seated, etc. We waited at the table for quite a while again (about 10 minutes) to be acknowledged by the waitress. I understand the staff there was very busy, but she was unapologetic when she finally greeted us. She seemed annoyed that she had to take our table, or even talk to me for that matter. By this time, I was over it. Everything after this was ok. The food came out quickly and tasted ok, but I was already annoyed. Horrible. This place has changed for the worse. We celebrated my sons birthday here on Friday April 16th. there was maybe 14 people in total. Seating was an issue we were there at 530 and was told we couldn't sit in an area that was more accommodating because the server would be there at 545 we made best of the tables were were seated at. My wife had sent 3 drinks back for dirty glasses black on the glasses. The waitress had the manager come over she felt bad, she said he needs to do something he did nothing. Her food was also cold. We went on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't busy (which is different than the one closer to home). Nobody gave us a menu and the "digital menu" didn't work and wanted us to download to our phones - which we hadn't brought. Even when we finally got someone to bring something, they only brought one. When someone finally showed up to order our food, we ordered an appetizer and our meals and drinks. They brought half the appetizer, but not the toppings and our drinks. My husband got finished with his drink before they brought our meal and the waiter never came to refill it. I gave him mine which he also nearly finished. It took a very long time to get our food. They brought his fajita toppings and ran off while we tried to ask for a drink but we figured they'd be right back with the food. We figured wrong. When the food finally did come, they brought his and it was fine, they brought me something not even remotely close to what I ordered. Then they brought out the correct thing and drink refills. It was not a good experience. Our regular Chili's is much better. Based on the number of people and other reviews, this Chili's needs some work. read more

First time coming to chili's and probably the last the food was DELICIOUS and DELIGHTFUL and it was an amazing time hanging out with my nibbas I really appreciate getting my straw 30 mins late and having to raise my long arms to ask for a straw and still didn't receive it . I had to put my moist lips on the glass cup so if I get herpes I know who to call . On top of that I asked for ranch and sadly didn't receive it on time it ruined my whole opportunity to enjoy my chicken and waffles . My girlfriend and I went to chili's for dinner after she got off work. Ordered the black bean fajita veggie platter- amazing. She ordered the nachos with no meat. Halfway though she realized there was little chunks of sausage. Informed the waiter and he was very empathetic and very sorry for the mistake (apparently the queso comes with meat) they took it off the bill and offered to bring us something else. But this is where they get the 1 star I pay for my order with my credit card where their machine automatically gave the server that literally handed me my bag a 20% tip so I call him out on it. I was highly disappointed with the meal...4 ribs does not a half rack make!! Might fool others with their math but I have harvested and processed way too many hogs to not know the size and count of a rack of baby back ribs. It was a quarter rack and there was barely any meat on them. The side order of shrimp was equally unimpressive. Tiny little things weren't even big enough to be harvested yet. Poor little baby shrimps didn't live much of a life before they hit the grill. The music was way too loud and the temperature was so cold that the food got cold as soon as it hit the table. Again I stopped in after a workout to have a buffalo chicken salad. I sat at the bar and as time went on the customer service got better. The bar area was slow so I was not sure why it took so long to get water. Nonetheless, we got the water and the salad did come. The salad was just as I ordered, lettuce was fresh and it was very good. I did not have anything else other than the salad and water. The eye candy was not present at all. For some reason, I can never convince the party I'm hanging out with that this Chili's is horrendous until we actually go there and they experience it themselves. Lunch. 1pm. 6, possibly 7, tables with diners. One of my coworkers orders a turkey club from the $6 lunch menu. The waitress tells her they have no turkey. "Do you have a substitution?" she asks. "Ham" is her reply. She finishes taking our orders and walks away. 5 minutes later, she returns to tell my coworker that she doesn't have ham. It's not that they ran out of ham. They don't have any ham. Ever. Ham is not a food they have on the menu! Again, she asks if there are any substitutions. She offers her another menu item that is on the $8 menu, so my coworker asks if they will honor the $6 price. Sorry, you'll have to pay $2 more for that. The entire encounter is happening in front of my eyes and I can't believe the over-the-top nastiness that our server is throwing out in tone at my coworker. If I didn't know any better, i'd think that she was trying to get back at the "B" who stole her boyfriend. Our meals came after an incredibly long wait. There was a mix up with the dressing. There was a mix up with who ordered which salad because someone's was put on a side plate and the other on a full dinner plate and it should have been reversed. It was ridiculous. As for my meal, I ordered the guiltless grill salmon with no rice, just broccoli. The salmon was dry and overcooked, but I expected that coming from Chili's. It always is. The broccoli was broccoli. At the end of the meal, the manage did come to the table. She asked how our experience was. We told her it wasn't very good and mentioned the turkey/ham situation. I've been to this Chili's multiple times over the last fifteen years or so, and I will probably never go back there again. My last visit there was truly torture. Let me preface this by saying I do not care for this style of chain restaurant at all, so my expectations are already way below par. I never have been a fan of their food either. It's bland and boring, and they just throw peppers on everything to cover up the blandness. The only reason we ever really go is for the 2 for 1's or if the other members in our party insist, which this time they did. My husband and I went out with another couple on a Friday night a few weeks ago for dinner and drinks. We expected there to be a wait since it was the dinner rush. The wait was only about 15 minutes for a table of 4, so not bad at all. Once seated, it all went down hill. I ordered the Fresh Margarita. I don't like their 2 for 1 margaritas, because they are nothing but sour mix and give me heartburn. I'd rather pay more money for a quality drink. The 2 guys in our party did, however, take advantage of their 2 for 1's. The couple we came with ordered the queso dip which is really good, but I don't eat beef anymore so I did not partake. I got some chips and salsa to share as well. Service was PAINFULLY slow. We waited a very long time for the waitress to come and take our initial orders, and then a really long time passed before we were served anything. When the drinks came out, to no surprise to me, the waitress had brought me 2 x 2 for 1 margaritas. Sigh. After the long wait I just decided to drink them. I ordered the fried shrimp, I think. It was obviously forgettable. The noise level was so loud I could not hear our friends speaking to me from across the booth. The food took so long to come out, our friend planned on using the queso dip as a dipping sauce for his chicken tenders (not appetizing to me, but to each his own). By the time the food came out the queso dip was stone cold and had a hard crust on top. I drank one of my 2 for 1 margaritas and realized the second one was just not going to happen for me. I alerted our second waitress (turns out we had 3) that I was given the wrong drinks and needed a new one (which I intended to pay for all of them that I drank, not just trying to get a freebie). I pointed to the Fresh Rita on the menu and told her this is what I would like, saying "Fresh Margarita" out loud. A VERY long time passed, long enough for me to drink a full glass of water, when our THIRD waitress came by. She wanted to make sure I KNEW what I was ordering. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I POINTED TO IT ON THE MENU. I was so flabbergasted at the waitresses' lack of ability to put in a damn drink order. After a while longer they then brought me what looked like the correct drink just as our meal was coming to an end. Upon the first taste I knew right off the bat it was made with sour mix and not fresh lime juice. Epic fail - Palm to face - I give up. The service was so slow that the other members in our party were only able to receive 1 drink refill within the whole meal aside from my drink debacles. Before the meal my husband and I decided we were definitely going to get the molten lava cake for dessert. By the time dinner was done we had been there for 2 hours and could not stand to be there any longer - no way were we going to wait another 30 minutes for a pre-maid reheated dessert. We only left a 15% tip (I almost never give less than 20% unless the service is unbearable). From what I could tell we had 3 waitresses that served us in zones. One handled our apps and drinks, another our entrees, and a third came by a few times, never figured out what her specific duties were. The food is mediocre, but if service was top notch I'd have offered more stars despite the food. One location we were seated and after 15-20 minutes no one came to our table - we walked out. Servers take forever to do anything, cups don't get refilled. It's a trickle down effect - so upper management in the corporation must be poor for multiple locations to suffer. read more

Ok, I am not one to complain but where can I start. Came in a Sunday at 4:00. I informed the hostess we had at least 8 but maybe more. I was told it was a 25 min wait cause one half of the restaurant was not open. Not enough servers. We didn't really have time but I couldn't let it go. The hostess did not even ask if she could split up the group or make any accommodations. Isn't rule number 1 of any business to keep the customer in the door?? So we opted for the bar area after we asked the hostess if we could split up.(novel idea) we tried to do 3 girls and 5 adults but I was scolded for trying to put a chair at a 4 top table. (Fire hazard) My next move was to ask for the manager. I'm still waiting 15-20 min later. My first thought he/she must be on the phone frantically looking for servers, but then low and behold I see people on the "closed" side of the restaurant, and servers that are looking for work. I travel a lot and eat out tons, it takes a lot for me to leave a review. Really, a lot!!!!! Back to the hostess. I asked how long she was a hostess, 9 months. Not her fault, back to management!!!!! Poor training. You have to have conflict resolution skills to be a hostess. I'd complain, but still no manager, so I can't even try to correct it on the spot, which would have been, and always is, the preferred method. It's Chili's, so I'm sure the food will be the same as all other Chili's, however, I would avoid this one if you can!!!!!!
