Chili's what happened to you? Used to be you could get a decent meal at a decent price. We walked in for lunch on a Saturday and wondered why they weren't busy. We now know why. My wife and 13 year old daughter were there to eat lunch. wife got a mexican pizza and ordered no onions. pizza came out with onions. I then told the server and the kitchen manager came out. We showed him and he explained that the onions were from the Pico de Guillo. I really don't care what they are from when my wife orders no onions that means no onions. I am not a genious but you would think the server or someone would say "the Pico has onions, do you still want it?" Moving on my daughter and I split the 2 for $20. I got the bacon burger and it was terrible. Granted it had been years since I have had the bacon burger. They went from chopped white onions to one small ring of red onions, the meat was smaller, and the bun was ok. It just wasn't a good burger. Blackfinn and five guys are much better. Last but not least the price. For all three of us to eat it was $45 before tip. It ended up being a $55 lunch!! There are a lot nicer places I could go eat that are cheaper. It will be a while before I go back to Chili's again if ever. read more

I installed Yelp just so I could write this review. I enjoy Chili's but the Los Lunas location is the exception. Service was very slow and our server was difficult to find. When we got our dinner the asparagus with my steak was not cooked, it was hardly warm. I couldn't eat raw asparagus but it took 30 minutes to get someone to address it. We flagged down a different server and he apologized and took it away. Almost 15 minutes later he brings back cooked asparagus, no seasoning, no tomatoes or garlic. We hadn't had refills or any service. Again, there weren't any servers around so my husband went to find the manager. I was trying to explain the problem and he kept interrupting. He said that the server probably just told the kitchen they needed asparagus. Ok, I don't really care why I just didn't want to pay for something I can't eat. I was trying to explain I didn't want yet another order we just wanted to leave. It original server showed up then with to go boxes. The manager seemed alarmed and asked loudly, "Are you taking that asparagus??" I told him of course not. He asked, "Why do you have such small to go boxes?" I was so confused, your server brought them for my son's meal, I didn't choose the size? I tried to get back on track and he apologized saying, "I got really focused on the size of the to go boxes." Literally the only thing I couldn't care less about. Anyway, he said he'd take care of it which I understood to mean he'd take some off of our bill. We waited, I checked and nothing had been done. After 10 minutes they bring me more uncooked asparagus! I was very clear that I didn't want more. At that point the waitress finally asked if we wanted refills and we said no we want to pay and go. This seemed to frustrate her because she responded with, "I'm trying to give you refills!" We just paid full price at that point, just wanting to leave. It was an awful, weird experience. The food is good here. We went on Easter Sunday. However our waitress was overwhelmed and bothersome in the bar area. I get that. Not a problem. What was a problem is that the Ziosk tablets are filthy full of hand grub all over and you can't even see the plastic finish under all the grub. Can't be sanitary so I called the waitress. I've wrote and complained before about poor service, terrible food etc. But after a few months of not eating, I decided to order food and pick it up. I went to the ToGo checkout where I watched a worker in the back drop a stack (4-6) to go salsa lids...they hit the dirty floor, she said "oh shit". She picked them up, walked past the trash can and started putting them on the salsa cups. I told the lady working the register and she said "oh no, she threw them away". I told her I definitely watched her use them and not toss them. I went to the Chili's in Los Luna's 6-22-20 for my 47th wedding anniversary. Was told it would be a 20-25 minute wait. Waited 45 minutes asked about it,was told table was ready and they would call us soon. Waited 10 more minutes, went in and raised a stink about it and then was seated. Haven't been to chillis in 6 or so months but tonight we went and noticed a big change....the service here was great as it always has been. However the prices have increased slightly....not surprised though. But the food portions were so much smaller. The SW egg rolls have turned into egg roll nuggets. The beef fahitas was was a small portion on a big bed of grilled onions with 2 maybe 3 slivers of bell pepper. A big helping of rice to cover most of the plate. The tortillas were served cold and seemed right out of a plastic bag. Just plain white like they were rolled and never saw a stove. My wife's rib plate was almost meatless Not sure if we will be back anytime soon. read more

Got an email inviting me to Daddy Daughter night at this Chili's. So I loaded up the family for a nice dinner out. However when we arrived we were sat at the bar, and when I told the hostess we were there for the daddy daughter night she said we couldn't participate. It seems they don't accept groups... I guess that would be my family of four? When i asked her what kind of a jerk would invite you out to there restaurant for an event and then not let you take part? I think that may have hurt her feelings, but certainly had her stammering. She said she would get a manager, but sadly that never happened. Shortly after she left our server arrived and we made the same complaint to her. She also said she would get a manager. So we sat discussing our options. That's when we realized we didn't want to have a family dinner in a noisy bar because we weren't the ones chili's wanted in their location. So we helped them out by leaving, but my story does have a happy ending. We went down the road to Gringos and had a great dinner by people that appreciated our business. I am done going here, I've getting it multiple chances and this is the last straw. A while back me and my friends went there and my friend got ribs and a giant wire was in one of his ribs, another time we just got our order completely wrong after an hour of waiting because the waitress decided not to write it down. Then the last time I went myself and ordered a steak medium well. It came out so red and raw I couldn't even cut into it, after showing the waitress she got me a new one and this one was just charred, I was starving so I ate what I could and I have now been sick with food poisoning for 2 days. I work for with our local children "in need". We were in a bind today and needed to provide lunch for 30 cops here in our office. We usually ask for food for children. Today Janelle (the manager) really came through for our Department. She put a rush on our order! And after it all we were given a huge discount. Janelle had our salads ready before they even opened for business! Our cops here in Valencia county as well as our staff and children thank the team at Los Lunas Chilis for everything they do to help us. Service and products are getting so much better to! read more

This was the first time I'd ever had a bad experience at Chilis. The service was just bad. I understand food service can be difficult when a restaurant is busy, but this was a Wednesday night and they were not busy at all. Our waitress at first seemed great when she was explaining the new feature that was a touch screen at your table that allowed you to order appetizers and reorder drinks and pay your bill right at your table. It went down hill after that. It took a while to get our drinks. Our waitress kept disappearing and we waited so long for refills that my guy eventually had to get up and go to the bar to have our sodas refilled. When our fajitas arrived they were sizzling and hot, so that was good. He ordered flour tortillas and I ordered corn. His tortillas arrived but mine didn't. After waiting over ten minutes for my tortillas I just shared his and of course that's when my tortillas arrived. By the end of the meal we were frustrated and when he asked for a physical bill the waitress went on again explaining how the pay at the table thing worked. It's not that we didn't understand it, he just wanted an itemized bill. Fine, I used the tablet thing and swiped my card after the waitress assured me it would print out an itemized receipt. The paper ended up coming out blank. We won't be going back to this location. It's a shame, I used to love going to Chilis. read more

My review is similar to others. I live close by so I've been here multiple times. Every single time there are at least 5-7 people waiting to be seated and no hostess or employee around to help. The last time we went my family and I were sat within about 5 minutes (not bad at all). However, our waiter got confused and did not take our order for a good 20 minutes right before we were about to go somewhere else. After we finally ordered our food took another 20 minutes to arrive. So 45 minutes before we even took a bite! Take my advice and eat somewhere else in Los Lunas. read more

We were bleery-eyed tired on the night we visited. What I noticed when seated, was that the floor was very dirty. Once I carefully examined our table and cleanliness of the condiments (on it) I felt it was safe to stay for dinner. Service? Unfortunately not good. No drink refills. My family ate here last night after church. The service was very good but the food was not what we have experienced in the past. We did not like the menu changes-especially the burgers. The new burgers and buns are not as good. In addition my daughters pizza was sent back because she said it was really bad. She liked the old pizza better. Went for an early lunch last Monday . The food was great but there was no one to great us or seat us for a few minutes and when we got seated it took almost 45 minutes for the food to come out . Not great For a salad and a turkey burger , with a very empty restaurant . The manager was very apologetic . Waitress was awkward and unattentitive, received 1 appetizer quickly, the other and requested side of ranch never came. After the waitress passed our table several times we finally flagged down a passing manager (who didnt touch one table during her walk thru) to inform her that items were missing. Again they came quickly along with the extra side of ranch which was just enough for one piece of lettuce. The manager who delivered the app and ranch, who also "didn't like to make excuses" informed us that "half of our ticket had fallen" and so on. ...we asked for a larger side of ranch and felt rather insulted when we were told they have to charge for a larger side of ranch...like this is my first freaking rodeo, no, just first time with the clowns... Our food came 3 minutes after our second app finally arrived and low and behold, was cold and resting on oven heated plates. Fail. Fucking fail. Not to mention our waitress came by the table twice the whole time. there was no teamwork whatsoever, other servers or managers failed to check on us, and our dirty appetizer plates sat on the table for the duration of our dinner that my fathers red blooded american blue coller sweat paid full price for. I've been in the industry since 2001, I have had crappy service, I've made mistakes before, tonight the whole floor staff blew it. Ill just say that it takes some serious neglect for us to leave a tip under 30 percent. Instead of redesigning the store you all should focus on retraining the staff. read more

We have been here lots of times. This is the best Chili's around. I've been to other Chili's in the Houston area, and I feel this one is one of the cleanest, and nicest around. They just recently redecorated the entire restaurant, so that's a plus. read more

10-8-10 This is actually for the Pearland, Texas location. Portions small non attractive presentation. Fajita Trio = 4 shrimp. 3 small pcs of chicken and 3-4 small peices of beef. All onion & green pepper. No real garnish or guacamole. Came out 10 minutes after the rest of the orders ( Like it was forgotton) Salads just thrown on plates, small compared to what they used to be & slopped together no presentation value what-so-ever. Broccoli for kids cold and mushy. Manager gave 20 dollars in gift certificates after we complained but I still don't think we will go back read more

We have eaten in restaurant many times with out issues with food or service, after a bad experience at ribs in town we ordered chilis online figuring it would be a safe bet, but we got to chilis right when we were told it would be and the food tasted like it had been sitting in the containers for 10 minutes (we live 2 minutes away) everything was mushy and soft. We came in on a Friday night with a group of adults and kids from a local theater group. About 25 of us. Couple of sections of the restaurant were empty, so we figured there wouldn't be any issue. The wait staff was rude and dismissive and told us that section is closed. Spoke to the manager, and finally got seated. Service was lacking. We came back the following night to give them another try, and called ahead to tell them we would be "about 25, maybe more". When we got there, our group was bigger. The manager, annoyed, told us she will seat only 25, although, again, there was clearly enough space. The rest of us were told we have to just wait if we want to be there. Needless to say, we left. I know most of the reviews were about the service, and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was on top of things and the manager came out multiple times to check on us. Had two margaritas and ordered another dingle drink from the computer on the table because our waitress had a lot of tables. They didn't bring the reorder of drink after 10 minutes and had to track the waitress down. She finally came back with two drinks. Misleading when reordering because we ordered one, but it was bundled. By the time we got the second drink it was with dessert and it did NOT go well with dessert. We also had to ask for the dessert to be served since we ordered it at the first of the order.
