This is one of our favorite local restaurants in the Lincoln Way community. Considering the inflation, Chilis is still one of the cheapest restaurants to take your whole family! The food has always been excellent and we went there for national fajita day! The service is pretty good but when you are seated in the bar area at a table the bartender is your server. That can sometime mean you have to wait longer because they are making alcoholic drinks for the whole restaurant! They have a monthly drink special and it's usually a featured margarita. Overall great food and service!

I'll just leave this here Lmao but, I came to chilis after school with my friends and I ordered the triple dipper and I had two boneless wings already and I was going for my third and I saw this. The waiter was really chill but she was saying there's new mangers and they don't know how to cook. If your serving food and especially chicken you need to be cautious because this could kill someone, that's not cool.

Chili's has a special place in my heart. It's like a comfort food for me. We've been coming to this location several times since we moved out to the area. I don't know if it's the covid thing or what but they have open tables they don't sit customers at and a 30+wait for 2. You have to sit at the bar if you want to get seated quick. I don't mind that since it's just my husband and I. Seriously though Chili's needs to get their crap together. I'm sure this is franchise wide. They need to hire more people or just fix this issue. Coopers Hawk across the street has better food for a longer wait but at least they sit customers at the amount of tables they have. I hate to be that guy. I must say though the service and staff here are incredible so nothing to complain about in that regard. The food is always good and consistent.

Brunch at Cooper's Hawk in New Lenox did not disappoint!…read more The patio was absolutely fantastic on a beautiful summer morning, our waitress was amazing, and the food and drinks were perfection. Honestly, it was one of those brunches where nobody wanted to leave because the atmosphere was just that good. If you haven't tried their brunch yet, put it on your summer to-do list. Grab a spot on the patio, order a drink, enjoy some great food, and spend a few hours catching up with friends. Definitely worth the trip!

They always have such a variety for every pallet from semi sweet to extra dry. Have only had an issue once with service and it was handled to my satisfaction. I enjoy the trio medallions or the pork chop when I desire to eat more. On the lighter side, I have fallen in love with the sausage and burrata flat bread, a delicate but flavorful bite. On this occasion, I grabbed a couple of friends and we participated in the 5K Wine Run. Oh what fun! I don't want to give away any spoilers but there is good wine included with your registration. Stay for brunch afterwards, but I encourage you to make a reservation. Although, it rained during the walk/run, it was warm and still made for a nice experience. The sun came out afterwards kinda like an additional reward besides our medal.

We originally learned about the biscuits and gravy because we stopped in the afternoon before to try their corned beef and Reuben sandwiches, so I'll touch on both. On Friday we arrived right at 9:00 AM, when they opened. Beth was also the bartender that morning. There were already a few people at the bar and a couple of tables occupied, which is always a good sign. We knew right away we were in for a treat after Beth welcomed us with her fun personality. I noticed a large jar behind the bar filled with Tito's vodka and a serious amount of peppers. My immediate thought was that it would make a great base for a morning Bloody Mary, and I was absolutely right. After ordering a couple drinks, we both ordered the biscuits and gravy, which also came with scrambled eggs and bacon. The gravy was very tasty and not overly spiced. The bacon was crispy, and the eggs were fluffy and served hot. By the time we were ready to leave, Beth had a full house, yet she handled everything perfectly. I forgot to take pictures the day before of the corned beef and Reuben sandwiches, but both were excellent. The great staff, friendly crowd, good food, and reasonably priced drinks make this a place we'll want to visit again and again.

Friends! You have to stop in and have a meal at this very nice spot!…read more It has been in Mokena, IL for 2 years. We went early afternoon on a weekday, so there was no wait, and the place was almost empty. The water came in an adorable carafe, with 6 oz "shot glasses". I found it to be so cute! And it was just enough water for sipping. It was iced cold. I believe we were just thirst and drank it all, lol. Free to the table- House Chips and Salsa. Simple and straight to the point. Ok, to the good stuff! Starters/App: We ordered a "Salsa Flight". It is just what it sounds like, a flight of assorted salsas. There were 6. Great for sharing, not big portions. It ranged from sweet, smokey, fruity, savory, to spicy baby! Of course it came with tortilla chips. So, so good! We also ordered Birria Egg Rolls. Friends!!! Delightfully yummers! Crisp on the outside, cheesy and meaty inside. The cooks were creating magical bites for me this day. lol Very good bites. I ordered a Pina-Colada Margarita. This sip was DELICIOUSNESS. Omg! Like....fresh, and powerful, yet well balanced. TASTY SIPS FRIENDS! I ordered what was like a Taco/loaded steak potato with all the trimmings (cheese, steak pico, sour cream). That is what came on it. There were other option of meats. Because I was so focused, I don't even recall what my date ate. HA! But I will say that my potato was not the best. It was over and under cooked. You are probably wondering like "HOW IS THAT"? Well, the potato was not cooked all the way through(hard pieces), but it was burnt at the bottom of the potato (images to come). That was disappointing. The starters/apps were so tasty, I ended up not finishing the potato, but I was saddened that they served the potato knowing the shape it was in. The meat and cheese and such couldn't even hide it once you moved the toppings to the side. Now, don't let my unhappy potato stop you from checking this place out. I am looking forward to bring my family back, and a few friends. If off sips and chips alone, its a place to get familiar with. Finally had a chance, and I will return. As always, you don't have to take my word for it, go get you some!

Meh. Average suburban Mexican food…read more My mom had an appointment in the area so we stopped in for a quick bite, mostly to kill time. This restaurant was close, so it fit the bill. It was a weekday afternoon, so there weren't many patrons dining in when we arrived. The host greeted us warmly and chose a seat near the front window. I believe our waitress was also the bartender. She was friendly and attentive. I had the chicken tinga and steak tacos. My mom just had a single ground beef taco. The tacos were okay. The food was decent, but I can't say that it was memorable or something I'd want to eat again. It definitely wasn't authentic or anything close to what you'd be served in Mexico, Pilsen, or Back of the Yards. The restaurant was clean and cozy though. The service was also excellent, so that was a plus. Maybe stop in for a drink or the chips and guac instead of the food. The bill was about $32 plus tip ($10).
