went to Chilis with some co-workers for a night out. I ordered a strawberry margherita which came in a regular plastic glass. THe pics on the menu show nice margherita glasses (kind of false advertising!!)anyway it tasted terrible so it went back. I ordered quesadillas which had hardly anything in them, and they were to crispy. Service was SLOW. WE were done eating for over a half hour before we were able to flag down another waitress to find our so we could get our bill. WE were there for almost 2 hours. Overpriced for the quality of food. My first time to come to a Chili's, It was the closest one to silver cross hospital, I went to get a prenatal screening and had been there all morning so I was very hungry when I arrived to Chili's, sat down, took the waiter 10 minutes to simply come and ask us what we want to drink, she came back with our order, we ordered, I ordered a 6 oz steak and my boyfriend order a bacon burger. I was VERY Hungry so we ordered some fried pickles and the spinach queso dip, took a good 20 minutes for the appetizers to get to our table, I was in distress at this point as an appetizer is meant to be saved right away, anyways got our food served 5 mins later, couldn't even enjoy the appetizers, my boyfriend finished his drink and the waiter passed by MADE EYE CONTACT as he was asking for a drink and walked right by ignoring us. Never came back had to ask manager for drink. This happened at least 2 times when we tried asking for drinks. Finished eating and we're waiting for check for a good 15 mins no one ever came, had to get up and go ask. Finally got it paid and left. Will never go back to chilli's. read more

Chili's has delicious food and so many choices, so everyone is happy. It has a comfortable atmosphere with attentive staff. When I wonder where we will go out for a bite to eat, I know that we will end up at Chili's because it can satisfy everyone in the family without breaking our bank. read more

Waiting for a server to take our order, we have been sitting for 12 minutes already. FINALLY , after 15 minutes, a server comes and takes our order, normally the salsa and chips are great but today the salsa was so watery. Fish and shrimp tacos were okay, not great but passable, we had to ask for everything, more napkins, more tea, water etc. I would say that something has happened to management within the last 6 months. The worst service! We waited over a half hour just to get drinks and another hour for our food, which was cold. We were here for a birthday celebration and at the end of the meal, I needed a box for my cold dinner and waited 15 minutes for it. They also brought a little cake which was nice but it took another half hour. We were seriously ready to go an hour before! Then it took another 20 minutes just to bring the check. Seriously, we have never waited this long for service and the food was terrible. I will also be calling to complain as this also takes a lot to do that for me. Unfortunately we stopped in to this Chili's restaurant last night for dinner around 6:30. We ordered iced tea - had to ask for ice because the tea was warm, and 2 appetizers to share between the 5 of us - the cheese curds and the bloomin onion which were both overpriced for the skimpy portions. The onion had no flavor and the cheese curds were extremly salty. We waited about an hour after that for our food to arrive. It was a little busy but shouldn't have taken that long. A table next to us came in after us and were served first and were done and paying before we got our food. Three of us ordered the combo plates - ribs, chicken and brisket variations and when the food finally arrived it was cold, undercooked and definitely not worth the cost! One person in our party ordered the mini burgers and they were dry and buried in onions. The waitress seemed to disappear for long periods of time and when she finally came by a person at our table complained that her brisket was all fat so she took it back to the kitchen and brought out another one that was a little better but still not great. Needless to say we were not happy with paying over $100 for a dinner that none of us enjoyed and could barely eat. We did take the leftovers and after cooking the chicken for another 1/2 hour it was a little better. On our way out we asked for the manager and told him we were less than pleased with the service and food and he seemed a bit put off and just said they were pretty busy. New Lenox Chili's carry out, what a fiasco. ordered online and we went to pick it up at time told to pick up. two people behind the counter in carry out and neither paid attention to the growing line for carry out. AFTER 20 minute wait and about 6 in line now for carry out, manager finally came out and started to work the carry out. come to find out, problem was that none of the on line orders were in the system. Manager said sorry, but he could take order at that time, but would be another 20 to 30 minute wait-- are you kidding me? there are other places to go in New Lenox folks. read more

Pathetic Service and steak I would not feed this food to feed my dog! 1 star is overrated!!! Took my wife for a late Lunch on June 13. Walked in and there were only a few tables with customers. I ordered the ribeye steak and added street roasted corn. Steak tasted like it was freezer burnt and they forgot my broccoli. The corn way over cooked. Asked waiter "Where is my broccoli?" He said he would bring it right away. I was done eating, no broccoli. I asked for a Coke and he never came back. Manager stopped by explain I never received my broccoli or Coke. She took off the charge for corn. My wife's ribeye worse than mine!!! We left a $4.00 tip which should have been $0.00. Waiter was pathetic!! Hand on lip of glasses. Why have handles? Fingers touching food and never brought back missing sides or refills! We should have eaten at White Castle! Cost $46.00 with tip! We will never go back! We waited forever to get served. We had two small children with us so we usually like to get in and out at a decent rate. We asked for the game machines and we didn't have any(not even the one that was supposed to be on our table) and then we were almost charged for having one. Food took forever and waitress never came back to check on us after food was delivered. We all got sick afterwards as well. We will not be going back. We were extremely disappointed. read more

My family eats here quite often and the service has been nothing short of perfect every time. Great place for kids as they are quick with your order and they have game pads on each table. They did burn my bun one time but to their credit they took it back and gave me a new sandwich. Great choice of soft drinks. read more

We decided to treat ourselves to a dinner out with our kids and arrived at 5:40 hoping to place our order before the dinner rush. We were seated quickly and ordered quickly. Our food took 50 minutes to arrive and one of our meals was cold. Our server was nice but his offer to "throw it in fryer" didn't seem to appealing, plus after the long initial minute wait the kids were getting restless and we weren't confident the food would be returned promptly. We could hear the complaints of other tables around us and apparently "the kitchen was behind." After we finally got our check we were charged for a game (we didn't even have one of those electronic game systems on our table) and our food was charged the full price instead of the 2 for $22 deal so it took another 10 minutes to get that sorted out. Our fun family night turned into 2 hours of waiting around and my chicken is now sitting like a rock in my stomach. We'll be going elsewhere next time. read more

I typically don't go to places like this, but my parents ended up with a gift card and we decided to go with them. First, the menu. I felt like asking for the adult menu due to all of the pictures and clutter. It was difficult to actually see what they were offering. Secondly, and this has nothing to do with the restaurant but it annoyed me, we were surrounded by poorly behaved children with disinterested parents. I felt like I was eating in the MacDonalds play land. Third, my beer glass had vegetation in it. I expect clean glass wear, it's not hard to do. The manager did take the beer off the bill, which I appreciated. As for the food, it's exactly what should be expected. Adequate for the place that it is. I used to work as a server in a similar chain a number of years ago and I know how they operate, so I avoid places like this if I can. And when I go to places like this, I remember why I don't go to places like this. I prefer the non chain places, mom n pops, stuff like that. I was happy with the service, even though our waitress was thoroughly disgusted with working that night having to deal with the day care center operating in her section. What's good about Chili's is you know exactly what you are going to get, and management policies are completely on the side of the customer so you needn't worry about problems being taken care of. read more

Yesterday (4/1/2016) was my worst experience with this place. My fiance called ahead letting them know where were on our way. It was about 6:15pm at this time. We got there about 6:25 with no one waiting. We were told it was a 15 to 20 minute wait. OK? I look to my right and there are 3 empty booths. So we wait and more and more people come in and wait. 25 minutes later we see the people who came in after us getting seated before us. My fiance goes up there and ask why are people who came in after us getting seated. So the two teenagers who are playing around with their little handheld devices look at eachother like dumbasses and ask who the name was under. She told her and she said were up next and it will only be another minute or so. 10 minutes later and more people getting seated before us. Fuck this place. This place is going downhill and with so much competition in the area I'll be taking my money somewhere else. Whoever is running this place needs to be replaced or maybe the manager should be doing the seating arrangements, not two kids who have no clue. We walked out with some choice words for the hostess in front of all the waiting customers and went to Williamson's on the other side of town. We were told a 10 minute wait.
