The wait was intense! We waited for over 30 minutes and though there were tables, we must have gone during a shift change because if the lack of servers. Ok service ok food but pretty much on par for Chili's. Visited last Monday night at the bar. Ordered quesadillas and they were pretty bland and a bit undercooked. Also tried the triple dipper. I like going to Chili's because it's decent food at a real good price. The "3 for $12.99" deal is excellent--you get a salad or chips and salsa (which are very good), your soft drink and a sandwich and fries. You can pay a little more for a different sandwich, but it is a nice deal. The crispy chicken sandwich is one of my favorites around. They have some variations like with a honey/chipotle sauce (which was very good). Fries are OK. They season them with salt and pepper, and put way too much pepper on. Coke products. Portions are really big--I always plan on taking home half of what is served. Staff was very nice and attentive--thanks to that team! read more

I haven't eaten in a Cili's in probably 10-12 years. Met friends here tonight, much to my chagrin...their choice. It was surprisingly good, and ordering the "3 for me" deal was an excellent bargain. The three of us all got the same thing, and for $10.99 each, we got a starter salad, a soda, and a burger with fries. All the food was very good. D'Nay (spelling?) was our server, and she was great. Very attentive, friendly, and a great server in general. For dessert, the three of us split a molten lava chocolate crate, which was delicious. The three of us had a great meal, great service, dessert, and drink refills for $45, before tip. That's way less expensive than I think we'd find anywhere else, including Five Guys (which I love, but they're ridiculously expensive). First the glass is broken out of the front door and a bunch of people are crowded around the host stand to the point where you can't reserve a table. Second once we managed to get on the waiting list they started picking random people around the waiting area to get sat at tables instead of using the waiting list in the order people were supposed to sit. We were driving back from a road trip and stopped by this chain restaurant because it was open at 8:30 PM. We had stopped at a rest stop but the only food establishment that was open was Roy Rogers with only burgers and fries. That wasn't anything that I wanted to eat. I called in our order while we were still driving. I got the salmon which came with fries and broccoli. I asked if I could substitute the fries with another serving of broccoli and they said that wasn't a problem. Husband wanted the Sunrise burger which was on the menu but when I called about it, they didn't have it at this particular location. He ended up with another burger which I can't remember. I asked the woman on the phone to get him something similar to a cheeseburger. I couldn't look at the menu again from my phone and I'm sure whatever she recommended would be fine. The meal was fine, nothing spectacular. It was already prepared because we were 20 minutes away and they said it only takes 15 minutes to prepare. I really want to get into why they are getting two stars. When we picked up our meal, we were disappointed that they came in styrofoam containers. The broccoli that I ordered were placed in two separate containers. They did not have to use containers for the broccoli. I would have liked them to just put all the food in the one container to save on all the useless and wasteful packaging. The food was good our server Krysta was AMAZING! If I come in with my family I typically ask to sit in her section if she's there. She was thorough & attentive in an obviously short staffed restaurant. At one point she was doing dishes (because manager sent the dishwasher home before the dinner rush) & was still able to keep checking on us! I don't believe the issue is with the employees but I did see a manager, Tom, less than friendly in general seems to have issues with all the employees. I'm assuming a former employee came in with family & he quickly kicked them out & the former employee did cause a scene & Krysta apologized to all of us who were eating. Tom did not acknowledge any customers for this outburst. I'm also a regular who usually sits at the bar on a lunch break so I've met with Krysta numerous times & never had any issues. I have seen Tom recently give Krysta a hard time, he doesn't take her away in the back he intentionally attempts to embarrass one of his by far BEST employees in front of guests. I notice this with not only her but a few others as well. He's very condescending & if he doesn't start treating his employees better he's going to lose the good ones. I think he's someone who should be looked in to, I don't think the customer service industry is for him. The other reviews seem a little harsh. I came in just after 12pm for a lunch. Got a 10 ounce sirloin, double broccoli, and a full order of shrimp. The sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Broccoli was great. The full order of shrimp was a disappointment. I guess I assumed it would have been full size shrimp instead of baby shrimp. Chili's used to be one of my favs way way back in the day specifically the one on City Line Avenue but they got worse and worse until I just stopped going. Because of that this new Chili's arrival near my work didn't excite me at all. It was a co worker who kept raving about these chicken crispers that made me decide to give them a try. I see from the other reviews that wait time is an issue here and it was the case in my visit as well. A man greeted us and seated us rather promptly but we were then left alone and unacknowledged for a solid fifteen minutes. The restaurant was pretty empty. I finally flagged down the man who sat us and asked if anyone was coming because we were on a lunch break. He seemed confused at first and then astonished that no one has come to our table. When our server finally did appear she was very apologetic and we had no other problems. I was impressed with the space itself. It was very open, modern, I would even say classy. I loved the fact that you can pay your check with the little kiosk on the table. As for the food, well I loved that too. My vegan friend had a salad and fries. I was obliged to get the chicken crispers with honey chipotle glaze. It was a part of their three for ten special that included a drink, a soup or salad and an entree. Out of all of the "bad" chain restaurants this one is my favorite. It's all personal preference but Chili's has always been a reliable, quick, cheap stop for me. Now this location in particular is not my favorite one that I've been to compared to the older ones in the area that's why Im giving the 3 stars, but it's the closest one to where I live. The staff is super hit or miss, sometimes you get a good server sometimes it feels like you've been forgotten or just another table to push through but my food has always been good.
