Here is the story: Our family has always been a loyal Chili's customer, whenever we run out of ideas for dinner, Chili's is always our first option. We decided to order Chili's tonight after a long day, ordered dinner for 2 and cheese pizza on Kid's menu online at 8:30PM, arrived at Chili's around 8:53PM, been told the garlic toast wasn't ready, waited there patiently for couple minutes, the origin plan was to redeem free kid's meal reward, been told cannot apply that on dinner for 2, the description for that reward is "Purchase of one adult entree required. 3 for $10 does not count as an adult entree. Valid in dine-in and to-go." Not a problem, someone probably made a mistake on wording/policy, completely understand, paid for meal, asked for just napkins, everything looks good so far until I drove back to home and found: * No napkins * No kid's meal at all except 1 orange juice Drove back to Chili's... been told "you forgot this" with big smile and a perfect explanation "We were going to call you". - I don't think I forgot it, the only thing I forgot is checking my orders in the bag, shouldn't that be your responsibility to put it in my bag? - Pretty sure it's relative easy to reach me on phone, Chili's account makes phone number as primary key in their system, and it has been 30 minutes since I left the restaurant already, offering an imaginary call to customer without any actual action does not sound like a valid explanation at all. I am sure we will visit Chili's in the future again, but definitely not this one. read more

The rice was super plane but everything else was good. I'm not sure being a chain what other locations would be like to visit. Ive been coming to this location on and off for the last 10 or so years... every single time the service has been absolutely fantastic... I came in today to trest my kids and enjoy happy hour for myself. I was quoted a 30 minute wait time. During my wait, I had the pleasure of chatting with the hostess Shy. she was so sweet and listened to me compliment the difference in service at this location from the one on Arden, which by the way, the Arden location has the absolute worst service. I was sat with in 10 minutes of my wait here at truxel. My server was Leah. she was quick and friendly and was very attentive and patient with my kids. Happy holidays!! Waiting for my flight waitress Bebo which is her name. Had an attitude that we ordered sides during happy hour. As we order French fries she mean mugs me and my girlfriend. Then when we order alcohol since I was black she ID me but didn't ID anyone that was white around me. Making the situation worse, the lady at the bar told me I could not sit at the bar to order after I felt offended by my waitress. I told the Waitress I would order my food at the bar and she continues to raise her voice at me because of the color of my skin. When we ask for the Manager he had a better explanation but did not resolve the situation of feeling racially profiled. After we complain no one check on our table and just ignored us until our food was done. After they cleared our table we WAITED 20 mins to get our check so we can leave. Anyway, service was excellent from hostess to server. When a new staff member brought a drink refill out and didn't know the answer to a question he immediately went and got someone to follow up. They brought boxes for our leftovers and even threw in extra chips because we liked them so much. Got the loaded nachos with beef and full order of boneless wings for $4.99 each, and a 1/2 order of the cheese fries for $2.99. Lots of TVs to watch the football games as well. They have the touchscreen things at each table to view the menu, place orders, and pay for the check. Tasty happy hour/gameday food. My biggest complaint with my visit was with the waitress and what my food looked like when it was served. Upon arrival we were seated quickly, but as soon as the waitress came things dwindled from there. It was happy hour and the waitress explained Happy Hour prices are for in bar purchases only. I didn't mind getting my own drink so I clarified that the drink can be purchased and brought back to table - she said yes. Perfect! I could use the extra steps. What really ticked me off though was when I told her that'd I would get it myself, her tone changed and said "It's only about a dollar off, but yeah you do what you want." It seemed so unnecessary to be snarky about it. The rest of the night's service was average. Not once did she ask if we needed anything, it always fell on us to waive her over for refills on drinks and chips. From the two pictures I posted you can see how the avocados were gross looking. It's as if they were sitting out too long in open air. I know that color is part of a normal process, but it should not look that way as soon as my food arrives. I'm sure I will return to this chilis at some point. I dont like to have one bad incident ruin a place for good. Oh! The bartender was fabulous!! I can honestly say that we were pleasantly surprised by our visit to Chili's this evening. Myself & my father had never been here before. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and sat us immediately and got our drink order in. Our waiter "Robert" was very helpful, remembered all the little specifications we had asked for and was slammed as he was covering our whole section by himself. He didn't break a sweat, he had a smile on his face the whole time he was running around and never forget to check up on us. We were also happy that he took the time to help us with the menu and led us in the right direction. He even substituted the chicken fajitas for the vegetarian option free of charge. Thanks! Overall I would say the service, food and price was outstanding. Our salads, dinner and dessert came out promptly and our margaritas were amazing. Thank you Robert and the whole Chili's team. I've been eating at this Chili's location for years but ever since COVID struck something dramatic has changed with the quality of their food. Plain and simple the food quality is not good! I don't know if its how they are preparing the food now, or if its all frozen or has to do with the freshness. Whatever it is it's not nearly as good as it once was. They give you a lot of food for the money but the food just taste bad. I've also been hearing this from my grown son who claims he stopped going to Chili's because of this reason. The restaurant itself is a bit run down and grungy. Sticky tables, hand prints on mirrors and stained carpet flooring. The food was ok, not good, not bad, a bit bland. I had the spicy shrimp tacos ( not spicy and lacking flavor in general). It's never a good sign if I have to ask for Cholula to drown my tacos in. Hubby had the steak bacon quesadilla, it tasted better than my tacos but was a bit on the greasy side.
