This is Chili's so my expectations are low. But we called ahead to get on call ahead seating. We were quoted a time and arrived 10min before the call ahead time. When we arrived we were told that the call ahead seating only put us on the list after we arrived. We were then quoted an addition 30min after arrival. If your expecting call ahead seating to get you ahead in line don't!! read more

Today I was craving some ribs and the Chili's baby back ribs song popped into my head. So I decided this is where I was going to order some ribs. First off I tried to place the order online..nothing wrong with the online site, but I wasn't able to order regular mashed potatoes. Only the loaded mashed was available. Now I'm really hungry and got home to only be disappointed. The ribs were tough barely any bbq sauce on the ribs. The broccoli was under seasoned; it had not flavor at all. The only thing that did deliver was the mashed potatoes. I have notice ever since everything has returned to normal, the quality of food has gone way down and the price has gone way up. I swear this food was not worth the money I spent on it. I know I shouldn't go to a place like Chili's to get ribs...I should stick to what I know won't disappoint. So disgusted by this meal. I had order to go food and I placed my order at 4:18pm and the pick up time was 4:50pm and I arrived to the restaurant noticed there was few cars waiting. At 5:30pm I called and asked what happened with my food and they said 10 more minutes. When I get my food it looks awful and I have order the same exact order in other restaurants. I called the manager and all he says is other managers are working. If you want to come back we can re do your order. The first employee who answered the phone was so rude she said were busy and were working hard. While I waited there was over 6 cars that drove in and immediately received their food. Trashy and gross inside and out. Horrible customer service. Below average food even for a Chili's. Avoid this place at all costs!

My husband and I went to this chili's for date night and it was disappointing. Our server told us she was running a bit slow due to recovering from an injury which is very understandable, however not once did she check on us after our food was brought to the table. We didn't get drink refills either and the table over next to us had to ask her who the server was since they had been waiting a while. Our food was also cold and the restaurant was noticeably dirty. Bartender (Overweight, Patchy Beard, short Spiky Hair Dude), súper rude. He never introduced his name, threw the drink menu on the bar and says "happy hour menu". I ask for a Michelada, and with a smart ass reply "Well yeah, what beer do you want" in a sarcastic ass way. Customer service is trash, too many friends hanging out at the bar in which they solely pay attention to & not the customers. Only giving it one Star because the food was ok. THIS IS A TO GO REVIEW: The first time we ordered to go from this location they gave our order away to someone else so I had to wait for them to remake it. It didn't take long so I let it go. Last night we ordered to go and the sign says wait in your car so I waited about 20 mins. After calling several times and no answer. No one was coming out checking on cars. So I went inside and there was my order just sitting waiting to get taken out. I get home and there is no ranch and they gave me the wrong flavor of wings. HORRIBLE SERVICE and reading past reviews it looks like this has been an ongoing issue. New management is needed immediately. I will be writing a formal complaint. read more

We were there on Sun 10/15. Not that I expected gourmet dining but was disappointed in all the food. Margarita has almost zero tequila in it. Hub's ribs were dry and seasoning was blah. He has liked them in the past. My chicken tacos on corn tortillas were awful. Like had 'gone bad', awful. The corn tortillas smelled like fish. The queso con carne was good. The ribs tasted as though they were boiled, rubbery and had no smoky flavor at all. My sons burger was cooked medium without asking. My daughter seemed to enjoy her burger, the oldtimer . The management, the workers, kitchen, etc. I've placed 2 orders at this restaurant and had to wait hours when they quoted me 30 minutes. I waited 2 hours the first time so I just left and it took them 10 days to refund me my money and they really don't care. After maybe 10 minutes she comes back to take our orders. We waited 40 minutes for our food. My server never even came back to ask for refills somebody else did. Terrible location. Went in today with family of 4 and it took the waiter so long to greet us that we already knew what we wanted to eat before he came. When he got to the table he only took our drink order and app..then he disappeared for 15 minutes and didnt come by until the app was ready, finally he took our order and it took ATLEAST 45 minutes for our food to come out. He didnt come by at all during that time. When we got our food we were all disappointed. I ordered the santa fe burger which ive gotten several times at other locations but this one was made incorrectly. Super dry! I ordered through door dash and didn't realize the "maggianos" I was ordering from was this new thing they are doing at Chili's. I know it's all the same company, but it's really not the same food you would get at maggianos. The food was HORRIBLE. Inedible. We both ordered chicken fettuccini alfredo and it came with a bread stick. The bread stick was literally as hard as a rock. Couldn't eat it. Even being 34 weeks pregnant and starving with hardcore cravings....couldn't physically eat it. The sauce tasted from a jar, not fresh, no flavor. The chicken was cold and had a horrible aftertaste. Total and complete waste of $35. We will drive to the actual maggianos next time....worth the pain of traffic to get edible food. read more

I ordered 3 plates and they messed up on two of them. I checked back on my online order to make sure I had ordered steak because I got shrimp instead on steak on my fajita order. The other plate was beef nachos and I got chicken nachos. When i called back from home and wanted to speak to the manager first they hung up on me and when I called back i was told a manager would call me back. I havent received a call back. So a little wait time, but kind of what you expect from a dinner time rush hour time frame. The staff recognized a HANGRY child, my son, from a mile and brought out the appetizers and his meal quickly. Because of this, we had a pleasant evening rather than a headache. If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT eat at this location. We went last night while we were out running errands and upon arriving we had a 25 min wait which wasn't a huge deal there was several people waiting even though there were open tables. We ordered queso as an appetizer and it came out soupy and cold and my husband had ordered a margarita that he had to eventually go to the bar himself to get because our waitress disappeared, the bartender apologized over and over. Our food came out after 40 minutes of waiting and my husbands was completely cold, mine was wrong and my daughters was missing her sides so we told the waitress and my husband said he was going to just eat his because he didn't want to wait another 40 minutes. All of our drinks were empty and hadn't been refilled until we found someone to ask for them. They finally bring out my food corrected and we start eating only for my husband to bite into RAW chicken. At this point I asked for a manager and he comes out 20 minutes later to tell us he would take off both of our meals and make us more food but that was all he could do and was completely unprofessional. We had 2 other people with us. We told him we wouldn't be eating anymore food and he walked off. In the almost 2 hours we were there we watched them bring out free food or desserts and apologize to several people around us for bad service as well. The service was good with speedy and attentive and polite staff. The food however was not good at all. We got the sample appetizer platter with fried pickles and buffalo wings. The fried pickles were very greasy . And the Buffalo wings were hard af as if they were cooked in a microwave for too long you could have seriously broke a damn tooth on those things. The sauce also had an odd taste of whiskey? The brisket burger was good. A little greasy but good. The avocado chicken sandwich was a complete disaster (according to my girlfriend). Well, this sucks. I usually like chili's, but they are over the top with their covid theater crap. We went to check in, I just saw a sea of dirty tables, and clean ones which weren't in use, due to social distancing I suppose. I have my wife a little girl, and an infant. We check in, they tell us it will be a 10 minute wait. Then they ask us to leave and wait outside. Wait? What? There are segregated benches we could sit on, I have an infant, and it is over 90 degrees out. We could have easily sat and waited. Business wasn't booming. They were woefully understaffed, so I guess that explains why they can't get someone to hit a bench with some sanitizer, and I didn't see anyone hit the door with sanitizer when we walked out either, so that shows they aren't actually too concerned with things. Was the manager shocked that more people than usual would come on the holiday? They have poor covid precautions to top it off! Just a bunch of virtue signaling to give a false sense of security if you ask me. Needless to say, we didn't wait, and since we had to load the kids back into the car, we just drove to longhorn, where we weren't treated like diseased rats and got in right away. "the times they are a changing" Well boys and girls it's official. Chili's has completed it's decade long transformation from a cozy burger and fry joint to a big marketing watering hole with mediocre food. I have personally witnessed this change from my days as a busboy hauling ten mugs at a time in two hands with 5 empty baskets stacked on top. Back then we served everything we could in a paper lined straw basket, had 3 huge vats of chili simmering slowly for use in practically every dish, had a one page menu atop the tables surrounded by walls and shelves lined with photographs of past chili cook offs with knick knacks and antique signs. The menu boasted hand crafted burgers with fresh cut seasoned fries and homemade pickles, a selection of big salads like chicken frisco and grilled tuna, a delectable sourdough chicken sandwich, beef fajitas with all the trimmings and the introduction to San Antonio of one of the greatest culinary treasures ever offered up -- the buffalo wing. There were no special sauce combinations or dipping sauces, there was but the one and only way to eat a wing available - cayenne pepper hot sauce with blue cheese dressing and celery stalks! Anything else was totally unnecessary. Today Chili's obviously spends more money on marketing than on quality. The menu reads like a Wayan's brothers script, a few predictable gems and whole lot of nonsensical filler. No more fresh cut fries, no more individually created burgers, chili that tastes of pure cumin and little else, chewy tasteless ribs and a whole lot of pictures of drinks and more drinks. Add a few arcade games and you have a Dave and Buster's. It's no wonder they spent so much effort on marketing disassociation from their eponymous namesake to a lighter less identifying thin green pepper which is exactly what the quality of the food and direction has become. thin and unidentifiable. read more

I should've guessed there was gonna be a problem when we somehow got bumped from second on the waitlist to fourth. When we were finally sat after a 45 minute wait (we were promised 20-30 minutes) we were not greeted by the server for another 10 minutes. We ordered our drinks and our food at the same time, but I didn't get either for another 45 minutes. Food came out cold, rock-hard and we did not receive half of our order. The couple that was sat 20 minutes after we were, got their drinks and appetizers by the time I even got my correct drink. Worst argumentative server ever. I have never left such a poor review for a restaurant because I work in the industry and I know things out of the servers control can go wrong. However this visit, nothing went right. We couldn't even leave for another 30 minutes, and even thought about leaving without paying the bill. We asked to speak with a manager, and were ignored. Indeed. Chili's has changed. Like the Obama administration, I'm not sure it's for the better. They're focusing on appearances instead of their food and hiking the prices while our eyes are turned by their fancy little gizmos. The Triple dipper has gone up nearly two dollars. This would be ok if the portions grew accordingly but, sadly, they've decreased visibly. At this particular store, the service is poor. The hostess didn't greet my family, and took over a minute to ask "How many?" In an accent so thick I could have had that for dinner and been better satisfied. Our waitress then took nearly 10 minutes to ask about our drinks. Food itself then took a fair while to appear. Just a sad day shift. Food tasted pretty good, though. my husband and I went to this location around 3:30pm on 10 Dec 14. We waited for at least five minutes after walking in the door before anyone bothered to acknowledge we were there. We ordered an appetizer that was good. However, when we received our main course, both meals were cold. I ordered the Shrimp pasta and the shrimp was so overcooked And touch that the fork wouldn't even go into it! I sent it back to be remade and had to put it in a to go box because my husband had finished his entire meal before they fixed mine. When we went to pay the bill using the kiosk, the "suggested tip" said it was 20%, but the amount shown was actually 25%. I don't mind tipping well, but I don't think misleading people about what a 20% tip really is should be happening.. Horrible experience, will not return to this location. read more
