I have gone to many chilli's multiple times and this has been one of the many times I regret coming, the food was not seasoned as stated in description and my chicken fajita was not cooked properly and was raw. My boyfriend and I were craving chilis so we decided to come to the closest one to us which was this location. We got seated and there was a waitress along with a trainee who took our drink order, drinks came out weren't that good so we asked to change our drinks to a dr pepper and it just tasted carbonated. The waitress came back along with the trainee and took our order but the waitress left the trainee by herself, we waited for about 45 mins until the manager came to us and told us that the trainee had put one of our orders under a whole different dish and that they haven't even started our order, the manager offered us chips and queso but we just walked out. This place is in need of new management!! My wife and I came in for lunch yesterday at about 1:00 pm. The place was at best only 20% occupied at the time. There was one person ahead of us waiting to be seated. After about 5 mins waiting we both flagged down a waitress to ask if we could be seated? They said someone will be with us soon. Another 2 mins went by and and two more people showed up behind us, and the women in front of us said I can not wait any longer, "i am on my lunch break", and she left without anyone helping! The people behind us (two people) left too. One waitress finally came up and said I have to finish one table and I will be back. The manger (guess she was the manager?) came up and said we have to clean some tables first. We never saw the manager again. The waitress came back and took our names and said it would be about 5 or 10-minute wait. We waited about 20 mins from the time we came in until we were seated. I've been a loyal customer to Chili's for many years. I will say this restaurant has very poor customer service. My wife and I were trying to eat a late lunch which took too long to get noticed to even be sat down. Then it was at least 15mins before the Bartender/Waitress decided to acknowledge our presence just to be told to wait longer as she disappeared. We decided to walk out and go next door to Olive Garden and had an AMAZING lunch with WAY better customer service!! We won't go back to that Chili's again!! read more

Great service. Okay food. We were promptly seated by a hostess, and a waitress came to help us within five minutes of us being seated. The food was not the freshest. The tomatoes in the pico de gallo tasted and looked like they had been cut days ago. The rice was dry and cold. Our quesadillas seemed to had been sitting out for a few minutes before being brought out to our table. I ordered a 6 oz. steak cooked medium rare, and it truly was cooked medium rare. I KNOWWWW 5 stars for Chili's. Lol. I had to do it! Haven't been to any Chili's in a while but got the craving for it. We went for an early lunch and beat the crowd. Our WAITER, Francisco is what made it 5 stars. He was so attentive and ahead of us, it was so wonderful not having to wave down your waiter. He brought us refills when we were half way done with our drinks. Brought all their sauces when I asked if they had a zesty sauce for the onion petals. He said no we don't but here you go! Saturday dinner at Chili's. My son wanted to come here for dinner tonight and we were seated in the bar area. We had a friendly waitress and as usual, it took me a while to figure out what to get. Decided to change things up, and chose the Santa Fe Crispers Salad. A way to have the crispers, but maybe feel a little better about eating them. Lettuce and avocado makes you feel like you're eating healthier, even though you're eating something fried. Ha! We started out with the Awesome Blossom Petals. Yes, the name is very reminiscent of another fried onion dish at another restaurant . . . (wink wink). They were good and the sauce (which I'm sure had horseradish in it) was delicious. As far as my entrees went itself, it was okay. Not as good as some of the other dishes I have had at Chili's. The chicken did have a few "hard" coating areas as if they might have been sitting for a little while and it got harder as it sat there. The avocado, lettuce, picto, and tortilla strips were good though. We even had dessert, which we don't do very often. We tried a new dessert on the menu - the S'mores Molten Cake. This dessert definitely gets a thumbs up. But the main thing that made this review was a particular action I kept noticing over and over at the bar. As I was waiting for the food, and while I was eating, I was noticing a common "action" made by both the wait staff and the bartender. As often happens with drinks, there is some sort of fruit to garnish them. They had a container with bins that had cherries, limes, pineapple, and maybe one or two more items. In a section of these bins was an area that had two tongs with which to grab the fruit. Unfortunately, I did not see any of the wait staff or the bartender use the tongs once. In fact, as the manager was passing by, I waved him down and asked him if the tongs were there for a reason. He said they were to be used for the fruits. I let him know that they had not been used once since my son and I had been there. In fact, I had told him I saw the bartender use his hand to move limes from a large container into the smaller bin on the bar. He apologized for the actions and went over to the bar to have a word with the bartender. I was happy to see that, and the bartender even made a few changes, putting out covered bins for the fruit and I did see him using the tongs the remaining time I was there. Noticed one of the waitresses came up to the bar and could tell by the bartender's hand motions that he was telling her about using the tongs. Unfortunately, about a minute later I saw her use her hands to grab a lime. Sad when people just don't understand basic sanitary practices. Hopefully someone will talk with her again and she will change her ways. read more

As many others have already noted, the curbside service is absolutely horrible. I've gone multiple times and each time it's bad. Today I called the store and gave them my spot number and they said they would get it out to me as soon as possible. Approximately 20 minutes go by and no order. I call again to check on my order. They tell me the order is ready and if I wanted them to take it out to me or if I wanted to come inside. It's a curbside service so why would I go inside? I get the food and ask why it took so long. They said they're busy and so it's taking longer right now. That would be fine except when I checked the food 5 minutes later it was room temperature as if it were sitting there for at least 20 minutes already. Worst service! We ordered three Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches and one Bacon Burger. While our chicken sandwiches came out in a reasonable amount of time, my husband had to wait an additional 20 minutes for his burger. This is starting to become pretty usual in finding places with not so good service but the food was pretty good. On this trip to Chili's I decided to have a seat in the dining area vice the bar area. From my past experiences at various Chili's it seems like you get quicker service when at the bar. Well my thoughts were proven on this day. Yeah I am going to use names because there were some individuals that I want to give props to for their efforts on 27 Jun around 530. I waited a long time for my appetizer and it was noticed because one of the managers (Robert) came out to apologize for the long wait. It was about 20 minutes and I wish my original server (Chris) would have given me an update. So I get my appetizer and at it was brought to me by Robert. Thanks Robert and he offered me a discount because of how long it was taking. As I am finishing my appetizer Chris comes along with an appetizer and says "Someone already brought you an appetizer?" I am not sure what was going on this day. I don't know if it was the communication or some new people working but the family across from me who was there when I entered were waiting for a good amount of time as they were complaining about not receiving their check since they had to leave quickly. I admit they were there a long time. As they were waiting I noticed a server going to various tables asking what did they order while walking around with food. Eventually you going to get lucky and the food you have will go to someone. Robert came back and asked if there was anything else I needed and at this point I decided to just order an entrée to go to have later. I did not learn my lesson as this took some time to get out also. I give Robert his props for trying to make sure everyone was taken care of but he can't be everywhere at once especially when other servers notice customers waiting and see that their fellow coworkers could use some help. Luckily the little kiosk where you pay was working at my table as I got my to go food. The discount offered was not applied and at that point I just decided to leave. Still the food was good and came out hot but the service just ruined it. If you had to be somewhere this would not have been the day to go to this Chili's. I don't know if they are simply just severely under staffed or just don't know how to train their staff but every server I have had at this place has a horribly argumentative attitude about them. Went for lunch this afternoon and its was a terrible experience as far as food went. The customer service was amazing though. I just want to point out, if you advertise something as a "crisper", it should be crispy and hot when delivered, not soggy with a watered down version of honeymustard. Spent a lot of my time here in undergrad, I've been to this specific location and the smaller site at UTSA. Usually go for the lunch combo which consists of soup or salad, along with sandwich/fries or a different entree and side. However, they have a variety of different items to choose from on their menu if you're not feeling classics. Their honey chipotle chicken crispers are good, their chicken enchiladas, their chicken avocado sandwich with no bacon, their buffalo chicken ranch sandwich and also, the spicy Cajun pasta with chicken or shrimp is also very delicious my friend gets it almost every time. I'm not a big drinker so I've never had any of their alcoholic beverages, but I've heard good things about those too. Went to this Chili's for lunch today. It was sparsely crowded, which was nice. The hostess sat us at a two-person booth. When I asked if we could sit at a normal-sized booth, her expression gave me the impression I'd just asked her if she could tell me the mass of a spherical-shaped bacteria was bigger, smaller or equal to one microgram. Anyway... The Memphis dry ribs were tasty, as were the fries that came with them. My girlfriend's dish came cold, so we returned it. Very affordable for a date! I love their marg of the months, this month is the cheers to patron. My boyfriend loved the ancho salmon. I love their molten lava cake. We came to watch the afc championship and the staff made sure we had a good seat to watch. Always a good time at chilis! read more
