They shouldn't have even have stars... the food wasn't horrible but they were quick to ask how we want to pay she didnt like the fact we were paying with a card and gave us a cold shoulder ... she took away the food from in front me not going back !!! They dont even deserve that star read more

Is there a minus on the rating? Food was under cooked and soggy, staff were too busy to refill our drinks. Paid too much for bad food.

We arrived at Chili's on Thursday about 2 in the afternoon, place was fairly busy. We placed our order for drinks, and they arrived about ten minutes later. By then we were ready to order our meal. Wife and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which comes with fries. Meal was served promptly, and was very good. Enjoyed it, and will be back to try other meals. read more

What a disappointment! Went in for late lunch. Terrible service; slow, sat a bar; inattentive. Few people in bar area so not busy. ordered sandwich and chili. Requested no tomato due to allergy but sandwich delivered WITH tomato. Told bartender who seemed totally unfazed and muttered oops! Took no action or asked if I wanted a new sandwich. Chili was delivered at cold temperature. Sandwich was basically dry bread. I noticed that bartender did the same with new customers in taking a long time to take drink or food orders despite not being busy. We were customers of the first Chili's on Greenville Ave in Dallas. The Lavine brothers (founders) must be mortified at what their Chili's has become - a totally subpar pedestrian chain restaurant. Do not waste your time or money with this eatery. read more

ordered food delivery. food arrived spilled inside bag because food wasn't sealed. delivery driver dropped bag on floor in office to "deliver" it. awesome blossom petals onion was overcooked / burnt. asparagus was slightly microwaved instead of grilled. customer service non existent for delivery orders. extremely overpriced for low quality food. read more

Very new and needs much more time to train the kitchen staff. Food wasn't cooked right and out of many popular items on a Monday night. First steak was over cooked and second steak had a funky taste. Fries tasted fishy too. Staff was great though. Will try again in a few months if they're still open. read more

Have been to this chilies a few times since it opened first time I went service was OK food was cold second time I went couple of months later service was bad sat at the bar the person next to me Who had been there before me that because his order still wasn't ready not sure how long he waited we actually got our food before he did. Third and last time I went south tomorrow once again service was worse if that's possible. The kitchen seems to really have a problem orders were wrong or not put in. Bartender was too busy visiting with his friends to attend any of the other patrons. Two people left because they were so slow. It's a shame because The Chili's restaurants and other places I've been have a great service good food there for some reason this one is not working out at all. Very mixed reviews on this Chili's. When I dined in for lunch the waitress could not have been more quick, friendly and helpful! However the 2 times I've ordered To Go, the girl taking orders was rude and didn't listen to the order. It took such effort until she finally got it right. Then when I go in to get my orders, they carefully watch for my tip amount before they go get my food. That's very unprofessional and it happened both times. They literally looked right at the tip before they went to get my food -- after rude service on the phone, so go figure, my tip wasn't huge. This time, when I picked up my food and checked it, the fries and ranch were missing. Just super shabby service. Last time, the fries were so old I just tossed them. Too stale and soggy to eat. This was my last visit. First time shame on you, second time shame on me. There won't be a third. From the looks of their reviews, they need all the customers they can get too. read more

I know Chilis is a good old stand-by restaurant but this time it disappointed. Absolutely horrible service. Nice young man but obviously clueless about how to manage a busy bar area. It's possible he was in training but his trainer should've taken over seeing as the place was packed and people were obviously waiting to be served. For opening night, the staff worked really well together, and we're very accommodating when I wanted a different drink. They brought us to our table and have us drinks and food in a timely fashion, despite it being their opening day and there being a raging blizzard outside, tracking water throughout the restaurant, which they kept dry. We went to Chili's last night. When it first opened it was really good. However last night wasn't. The wait staff was wonderful but not so much the kitchen. I got the Triple Dipper with the little burgers. We waited over 1/2hour for our food. When the meals finally came they were terrible. My burgers were burnt one had cheese one had nothing on it. They looked like they were thrown on the plate. I had to put them back together. Very disappointed. The others with me did not enjoy their meals either. read more

Chili's Santa Fe on Cerrillos Rd Not a bad place. My roomie and I went for drinks, sat at the very clean bar, waited and waited some more. I did have to go and ask hostess if there was a bartender and she smiled and said she had let him know to go to the bar to help us. He came up soon after, we ordered and he was very attentive, asking us to let him know if we also wanted refills of chips and salsa since those were free. No 2 for 1 drinks like back in my native Florida but Tampa has a LOT more business than small Santa Fe so they're able to offer those types of drink specials and the drinks are better there too but Santa Fe Chili's is not a bad place and if they were worse in the past, then maybe some of the negative reviews others posted here on Yelp helped to rectify that somewhat. read more

This past winter I ate in a Chili's in Oklahoma & it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. When Chili's first started it was very good--that was a long time ago. We now have one in Santa Fe, NM so with some free coupons I decided to go. It was not good. Everything was prepackaged requiring not much more prep than a deep fryer or a microwave & the wine was sweet (chardonnay). Service was alright. I don't expect anything to improve since it is basically fast food & has been like this for a long time. I guess there are enough out there that don't mind. read more

Based on eating here last week, I think this Chili's is declining in value to the customer. We've been here several times in the last couple of years, and everything has been fine. Prices seem to be going up quite a bit, though, with no increase in service, or quality or amount of food. Oh, the price stays the same--don't need new menus printed--but the servings seem to be getting skimpy. Bowl of soup seemed rather smaller than in the past. Asked for a side order of black beans ($1.99). It seemed to me there were fewer beans, in quite a tiny "bowl", than there are letters in "order of black beans". There was an odd little "garnish" of chopped tomatoes on top. Not sure I understand this--it's as if tomatoes are cheaper than black beans, so they put some of those on top, to keep the number of beans down. NOT worth $1.99; 50 cents, perhaps. 2 stars overall; service--3 stars; = average; = ordinary; = mediocre. Not terrible, but not special in any way, either. Competitors in the area seem to be maintaining their standards, and their prices. In my opinion, value at Chili's is declining. read more

It would be a "no star" rating if I could. After I was given gift cards for another horrible experience I still wish I wouldn't have come back. Ridiculous is the only word to describe the operation at this location. The only people who seem to be enjoying their visit is the over served patrons at the bar. Went to Chilis on 8/25/17 and had terrible service. Waiter was obviously not having a good day, and in distress. I'm not sure why management had him off to the side, and since they did I'm not sure why were not given a new waiter. Had to ask other waitstaff for drinks, my order came out wrong, but since we didn't have a waiter I didn't have anyone to complain to. I could have asked the other waitstaff but they were busy dealing with their own tables. We just stopped for a quick bite and service was so crappy/slow we just wanted to get out of there as fast as we could. It was kind of sad seeing the great service the tables next to us were receiving and us just left there ignored. read more

This is the worst Chili's we have ever eaten at. The service was good; however, our food was luke warm at best and my burger was under cooked. The Presidente Margaritas we ordered were half of the serving we normally receive. For the prices they charge, I expect much better quality. This was our third visit to this Chili's and we will not be eating here ever again. read more

The entrance was on the back side of the restaurant, it was far from their dark parking lot. The waitress insisted on sitting our party at the bar, yet we had underage kids with us. We ordered the special two dinners for $20, a good value. You share an appetizer and then have your choice of main meal. We each had the sirloin steak with asparagus and French fries. It was odd - the asparagus was quite oily and tasted like the steak which tasted like the French fries. I don't know how they all got doused with the same flavor unless it was the oil. Plenty of food. Noisy, too, but seemed popular. I might go back to try a burger which looked good as they were delivered to another table, but Santa Fe has so many great restaurants that I don't think I would be a regular here. Service was fine. We explored the computer that you pay with on your table, and the waitress kindly came over and offered to take the payment on her computer, but we were playing with options. Made my first visit to Chilies here in Santa Fe to celebrate my wife's birthday. Turned out to be a mistake. Waiter wouldn't let us change our drink order. After a long wait, Burger and fries came out cold. Replacement came after everyone was finished with their meal. I was told a manager would come and adjust my bill. Never happened. The only reason this is getting a star is because you can't post with out one .we have given chills numerous chances and it seems that the service and food quality is steadily going down hill on every visit . Alicia has to be one of the worst waitress they have on staff. She can't get your order straight or does she ever come back to check on you after you start eating. She also can't remember to get things you ask for such as sides of condiments. Today was the kicker for us not going back. We ordered a lunch special and it took forever for the meal to come and once it did Alicia never came back to check on us . I had asked for a side of ranch and I never got it. I also finished my water and was never given a refill until I was done with my meal. Thank god I didn't choke on my dry hamburger. My fiancé got his soup after the rest of his whole meal was done. It seems chilies is full of excuses. Rather then solutions to there negligent waitress who can't do the job they are supposed to be doing. Forgot our appetizer and learned to never order a steak at a "non-steakhouse". 10 oz sirloin was rare as ordered however it was very bland and tough. Tasted like a frozen steak that was microwaved. We went in this afternoon for a very early dinner. It was before 4:00pm. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come take a drink order. And another 15 for him to take a food order. It took another 15 minutes for the appetizer to arrive, which was 30 seconds before the entrees. I guess they don't know what an appetizer is. My daughter and I ordered the grass-fed beef hamburgers which cost $1.00 more, but I prefer non-GMO beef. The burgers were almost inedible. It looked like they had been cooked for the lunch rush, left out and heated up for us at 4:00. They resembled hockey pucks in texture and appearance. Everything was greasy, including the buns. While we were there, there were at least 4 huge crashing sounds in the front of the house. Clearly the serving staff was either really clumsy or poorly trained. Awful food, strange staff (our waiter kept touching me on the shoulder every time he came to the table) and disorganized service means I won't ever go back. Yuck. read more

I do enjoy eating at chili's. The food is good. I find that the portions is way too much for me to finished so I take the extra home for another meal. The other day I ordered to-go for the first time. No problem picking up my order except the waiter forgot to give me my drink so I had to go back. Wednesday night . . . not a busy one. We walked into the newer Chili's restaurant on Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe hoping to get to try it out. Nobody was up front, nobody came to greet us. We waited nine minutes. Not a greeting, not a hi, we'll be right with you . . .nothing. I did notice that a couple of wait staff looked at us, but nothing. Finally a group of woman came to pay their bill. They had to wait for 2-3 minutes. FINALLY someone came out. By that time, I figured if it took 10-12 minutes to even acknowledge us, that we would not get good service. A TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE way to represent your restaurant. Santa Fe is full of wonderful restaurants and staff, so I will not be bothering to waste my time on this one ever again! read more

Yesterday my two daughters and I stopped to get a bite the greeting was very nice but as soon as our waiter his name was Tyler was very rude I noticed with his other customers he was very kind he would be very polite to say sweetheart thank you and please but with us we wouldn't even get a word I asked him if I could put my daughters order in first no word he just did it I waited another 25 minutes for him to come back and take my order I started feeling very uncomfortable I noticed a party sat behind me and he was very kind and sweet like I said him and finally he came back to take my order when I place my order the first time he turned to me and said what!!!!!! So I placed it again and all he said was whatever then he never ask us for refills or how was the food my nine-year-old daughter felt the tension and got really upset and asked if I was OK because he was very very rude I don't think I will be eating there again and I do not feel like I was appreciate it as a customer working in the food industry for almost 15 years running a restaurant this was very unprofessional read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. It's brand new, open less than a month, so I can understand some screw ups. Tonight I had my second to-go order from them. We were using gift cards. The first time hubby and I ordered we had a couple issues. The woman who helped my husband insisted the sauce he received was avocado-ranch when in fact it was just ranch. She came back with another, and then another sauce that was not it. She finally got that figured out. My order however was missing the avocado-ranch. But whatever. My food was really yummy, the trio tacos. When we ordered this time we got the 2 dinners for $20 deal. I ordered the bacon burger. My husband ordered some crispy chicken thing with the avocado-ranch sauce. Can you guess what I'm going to say next? Yep, the same woman insisted that the sauce she was giving him was avocado-ranch when it wasn't. She basically fought with him about it, bringing a couple others until she finally got it right. The chefs insisted it was correct when in fact it wasn't. Once home we discovered my bacon burger was baconless. Yeah. My husband called and spoke with the manager just wanting to make them aware of the to-go order mixup in the restaurant (our order was mixed with another too!) and then the no bacon on my burger. The manager simply said thanks for letting him know and was done. No trying to make things right in any way. Although that's not what my husband wanted, just wanted to inform them. In the end the food was really good, at least what I had. I'd give the food a 4 star. The service and accuracy were horrible and that deserved a 1 star. If I had to spend my own money I would have taken things back and wanted them redone. Oh well. Maybe in a month or so they will have their stuff together. read more
