Not impressed with the service or the food. Food took about 30 minutes to arrive and wasn't really hot. There was 3 other people with me and no one was completely satisfied. The food was not very good...we had tacos with rice and black beans. Everything tasted like it was out of a can. So I feel like I paid way to much for what I got. Came in 9:30p.m on a Saturday. I only wanted a cookie skillet dessert. I sat at the bar area. My waitress was flirting with a group of guys at their table. Took about 10 minutes before she came and got my order. When their table was literally right next to mine. (arms reach). I waited 15 more minutes to get my water. It was 10:10 when i got my dessert. Waited another 15 minutes before she came out. I never saw her working asking other tables. When she did all she did was chat instead of checking on other tables. I gave her my card and i didnt know it took almost 20 minutes to swipe a card. I left around 10:50. So to eat a dessert it takes a little over an hour. read more

Not a good experience. I was informed by our server that they run out of items on Sunday. I ordered a Titio's Punch, no Tito's. We ordered the Triple Dipper, no egg rolls. Our server said she could do the Triple Dipper with two items but the cost would be the same. The women's restroom was closed because it was too dirty. Choose another restaurant if eating in Sequin, even if you usually like Chili's, don't go here!!! 2 hours for simple dinner... Driving through from San Antonio to Houston and chose to stop at Chili's as frequent the Chili's near our home with no issues.... This was the worst restaurant experience ever. We decided to eat at a table in the bar area, the two that were open were both still dirty. The hostess said she would have it cleaned, a guy came and cleaned most of it but never came back to finish so we were still standing there when the hostess comes to seat people at the other dirty table behind it. She noticed we were still standing/waiting and she finished wiping it down. Once seated it took awhile for waiter to come over and take drink order. When he (Alexander=server) did, my mom asked him how the turkey club is, he proceeds to tell her he doesn't eat sandwiches, his attitude was a bit of a smart a**, but I let it go as he was young and perhaps hasn't learned yet that they do work on a tip basis, good/pleasant attitude ='s more money in your pocket. I ordered a side salad and bowl of chili, mom got the turkey club and our other guest had chicken ranch sandwich. It took forever for our food to come out the people behind us whom were seated after us were already done eating before our food had even arrived. I asked the waiter what was going on and he said it wasn't his fault, it is the kitchen. When our food finally did come out, the fries were cold. When the bill came it had a $1.99 entertainment charge. The waiter never came back to ask what for so I went to the back to speak with the manager, whom was DEREK. I told him how bad the whole experience had been. I asked what the 1.99 entertainment charge was for as I definitely hadn't been entertained, he said it was for the game kiosk at our table. I told him we hadn't used it and he acted like her was doing me a favor by taking it off my bill. That made me mad and so then I asked him to look up how long we had been there he said it had been one hour and forty minutes since the time our drink order was put in the system. He did admit that was longer than normal, but that is it. He truly didn't care that we were unhappy and it was apparent in his attitude. If he did care about how his restaurant was being run he would be out walking the floor and checking in on his customers etc especially if his turn around is that slow. After talking to him and seeing how crappy his attitude was, I am not surprised about the poor attitudes of his wait staff (as also mentioned in other reviews)... This Chili's in Sequin needs headquarters to come in and retrain or fire the current management.. My guess is the only reason this specific restaurant is still in business as because of the location next to freeway in middle of nowhere, and most of the customers are 1 time customers that are driving through that will never come back (esp after a visit like this). So the management doesn't care about the bad service and it is obvious. Generally we like Chili's, though we only go to the one near our house once or twice a year. We met our daughter at this Chili's location for lunch, because we were going to a place near Seguin afterward. This is one Chili's we will never return to. The waitress was okay, but most of the rest of the experience was terrible. My wife and I got burgers and fries, and my daughter got chili cheese fries. Our burgers were dry and tasteless, and all the fries were cold. The place was filthy. My daughter's tea arrived in a glass that was dirty on the outside. Her food arrived on a plate that apparently had been set on another plate, since it had food smeared all over the bottom of it. Stay away! read more

Update 4/2/2018: I got an email from Chili's Guest Engagement Team on April Fool's Day, but I was afraid to open it. I called them instead on the number they provided in their reply to me on Yelp. I spoke to Antwone about this situation. He was extremely nice and I really appreciate his time. He represents Chili's very well. His friendliness and concern were much appreciated. If Derrick had treated me half as well, I probably would not have written the Yelp review. We have dined at this location a couple of times recently and never complained about the slow service, because they're always pretty busy and their food tastes great. Honestly, we have had much better experiences in San Marcos and Buda. This is the first time that I had gotten sick after eating at a Chili's restaurant. I originally called Derrick to ask if Chili's uses msg on their food, because I have had some really bad reactions to that food seasoning. He told me that they don't use it. After reviewing Yelp, I saw that there are several Yelp complaints about this Chili's. I didn't see the sanitation issues that other customers observed and complained about. We live in Seguin and hope that the corporate office will inspect this location and correct deficiencies to ensure that customers have a safe and pleasant dining experience. _________________________ Our service was pretty slow. The food tasted great, however I had bad stomach cramps and diarrhea about an hour after I ate. There were three of us in our party and we each had different entrees. I had chicken fajitas and was the only one to suffer the consequences of eating there. I spoke to a manager (Derrick) a little while ago and he was pretty nonchalant when I talked to him about this. Not even "I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with us." Wow! Really? I was going to rate them a 3 but changed my mind the more I thought about it. Customer service??? Went here the other day and had the pleasure of being served by a young lady by the name Brianna. The food was hot and ready when it arrived. She kept our drinks topped off and recommended some quality dishes that our family loved while making sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Went to Chili's which is usually a name you can count on. Not in Seguin, Texas. Waiter came by..took my drink and app order and left. Showed back up shortly with my drink and chips. So far so good....after 5 minutes or so comes back over and bends down beside me and says I'm sorry what was your order again...I tell him fajitas and he said thats right with corn tortillas. NO with flour and all beef. 14 more minutes go by and he finally arrives. Now I had chips and salsa, fajitas and my same glass of water. Went the entire time and never got a refill of water. He showed up there four times total. Once for drink order, once to bring out drink and app, once to bring food and the last time was when he asked if I was ready to pay....well um sure. Way to go chili's. This is by far the worst service in Seguin. I may have to write corporate in this one as service was really bad and the fajitas were close to the worst ever. To start off, it took a few minutes for someone to seat us, and when she did she just put the menus down and walked away, didn't say "your waiter will be with you shortly" or anything. At all. And she put us in the bar room where everyone but two or three people were at the bar, everyone else in the other room. Not to mention this seat is booming with sunshine and heat. Then our waiter comes to ask us our drinks, he was very nice and let me order first (chivalry). Then after waiting longer that usual I looked over at the bar, and he was talking to other employees. I kept looking over because I was like 'hello? Did you forget about us?' Finally he noticed me, picked up drinks that had obviously been made prior to me looking over and brought them to us- to no surprise they're flat Dr Peppers. And when he FINALLY took our order he didn't write anything down (didn't take our menus), but instead kept playing with and touching his big wad of cash. I watched him go to the kitchen to see how long he'd take to place our order but no- he stopped, talked to the employee again, and played with more money again. The Chilis in Seguin Texas is the worse restaurant I have ever been to. I have had such bad experiences with this restaurant that I have actually complained to corporate who did nothing. Last night I went there and asked to speak to the manager after I stood at the front of the restaurant for ten minutes and was not greeted even though there was a person walking back and forth. I explained to him my past experience and said I was back at my sons request as a result of good grades. I asked that he ensured we actually got the service we were paying for and he assured we would. When we received our food it was incorrect- we got BBQ Chicken instead of chicken crispers. I advised my waitress and she said sorry I thought you said BBQ chicken and then did nothing. I didn't receive an offer to replace it so I asked for a box fifteen minutes later I was still waiting on the box and had already paid. Keep in mind I asked for a check and she said I had to pay on the table tablet. We ended up leaving our whole uneaten paid for meal on the table. Please stay away from this place it is the biggest waste of money. read more

I once call my self a regular. It was conveniently located to meet my husband after working late, and I like the margarita's. But that is the end of my likes at the Seguin Chili's. Service is terrible. Last 4 times we went there, we had problems every time. The last time we went, it took forever to be served, then we watched the waiter serve our dinner to a man sitting at a table behind us. He took one of our plates but took the other back to the kitchen. 10 min later he brought the same plate of food, with another plate to replace the first one that he gave away to the other table. I refused to eat the old food. The waiter admitted that he served the wrong table and gave away half of our meal before he realized what he had done. Food looks good, but is really quite average for the cost. I have also been there, and got a table in the bar by myself waiting for my husband to arrive, and have sat for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to even approach my table to offer a drink or something, with absolutely no service at all. They were busy that day, but still had open dirty tables. Still no excuse for bad service. They should know what an average Friday night will bring, and have enough help on had to do business. read more

Worst Chili's I've ever been too. There aren't many places to eat in Seguin so out of pure desperation my husband and I eat here every so often. The food is always standard Chili's fare but too many times we have waited for extremely long periods of time for our food. We have even left a few times without eating because it took so long.
