Pretty much normal for a casual dinning experience. We actually eat here a 4- or 5-times times a year but this is my first review. As expected and normal for Chili's the food was excellent. As expected and normal, for this location, service was way below par. The issue is not with the waiting staff. They are very attentive and friendly. The issue seems to be with the kitchen staff. After placing our order is was 40 minuets before it arrived. This is not unusual for this location. The fact that this issue is common is demonstrated by our waitress bringing us free chips and salsa while apologizing for the delay without us even complaining. They were out of "Awesome Blossom Petals" which is one of the only times that I can recall a chain of this type being out of a signature item. The adult beverages prices were lower than average, we were there during "Happy Hour", and the meal prices were about average for this category of restaurant. read more

In Seguin, TX., after 930pm this is one of only two or three places that's open late, nonetheless Justin our server was quick and courteous, got us our drinks after explaining all our choices. We just got a trio appetizer that was cooked good and tasted good. We will be back. read more

I waited 10 minutes no service finally the bar tender came started walk towards me and turned around and went got a customer a beer who already had a drink and was still 3/4 full. my husband and I had dinner at the chili's in seguin TX. We arrived at 8:45 and waited in our car until 9 PM. We ordered drinks no appetizers an then ordered our dinner. My husband ordered 3 way fajitas and I had the cajun pasta and shrimp. The waitress was nice and the drinks were good. The restaurant had about 18 to 20 patrons eating some single people at the bar having drinks,seems they had no dinners,maybe appetizers. We waited for over an hour to get our food. My shrimp and pasta was not good and had no effort put into it. My husband's fajitas were ok. But to wait over an hour for this meal was ridiculous. I could have made the same meal at home in 30 mins. It seemed to be warmed up in a microwave and then served. The shrimp on both plates looked like they warmed cook shrimp, no grill Mark's or any flavor. After waiting for about an hour and 15 mins (that's no exaggeration) we were so disappointed. We rarely go out to eat but worked late and they were opened, which is appreciated. Horrible plain dinner. $85.00 later we leave at 10:45. Such a disappointment. We had drinks and that cost but truly expecting a good meal. I hate to say we will never be back. Took my wife for dinner. We haven't been been to the Seguin Chili s in about a year. The food was good but the hair in our appetizer was a bit nasty. I called the waitress over and she picked up the plate and said sorry. She never returned and didn't apologize or ofter a new one or take the appetizer off the bill. Slow, so painfully slow. Sat in open bar seating for 15 minutes without even getting water. Finally ordered a margarita and waited another 20 minutes. If this wasn't one of the only late night choices in Seguin, I'd never come here. One of the worst chilis ever. Not much competition since the majority of chilis are sub par but this one really does a great job of always being pretty underwhelming. My boyfriends egg rolls were burnt and when I finally received my margarita it tasted like lime water with a ton of ice. The waitress was not attentive or polite and the place wasn't even busy. My family will never set foot in this restaurant again. I ordered a small steak, rare, with no garlic butter. After awhile our food came, steak had garlic on it, looked like shoe leather. Showed the waitress and she had the audacity to imply I asked for garlic, I am allergic to garlic! Sent it back, another 20 mins (family was done with their meals)they bring me another steak. I am staying at the Marriott hotel next door. I ordered curbside and arrived at the time slot they provided. I waiting an hour for my food. I let them know i was there twice and the second time she acted like she didn't have a clue. Don't let the previous poor ratings scare you away..The service and food was outstanding the night we stopped in. We had been traveling and were tired and hungry...probably not easy to please or impress but this crew brought their A-Game! My family and I were disappointed on the service received today. Unfortunately we were overcharged for an adult beverage during happy hour. It was told to us about the happy hour well drinks for $3 and when placed, the waiter ask if we would be interested to get a double for only $.75. Once we received the bill, we were charged $8.75, wow! The manager came to our table and had adjusted the cost to $6, which was two happy hour well drinks, which only should had totaled $3.75. What a rip off! In addition the waiter was slow and we continued to ask him for silverware, straws, refills and our ticket since the check out machine was not working. After placing our food order, it took 37 minutes for it to get to our table. 4 of the 7 orders were cold. We complained to the waitress. She took the 4 orders back to the kitchen. Instead of getting the replacements done quickly, it took another 20 minutes. So basically 3 people finished their meals while 4 people finished there's much later. I've been to this Chili's twice now when I was in Seguin and both times it has been a big disappointment. My husband and I each ordered fajitas. The waitress seemed in disbelief that we both wanted our own order, she was awkward to say the least. (Side note I have the utmost respect for servers in general it's a hard job) Anyway the chicken tasted like plastic, the rice and onions were burned to the bottom of the skillet and the tortillas were crispy because they had been overheated. Both orders were similarly overlooked with literally no flavor. I feel the prices at Chili's are too high for mediocre food at best. I won't be going back to this locaction. So I originally gave this a one star review. We returned last night as we were staying in the hotel next door and needed somewhere to eat that we could walk to. I'd have to say the food and service was 4 STAR for a Chili's!! We sat in the bar because they were busy and the bartender happily changed the tv so we could watch the Astros. We ordered drinks that came quickly and were delicious. My husband and I both ordered steaks and they were cooked perfectly. I usually go to chilis on special days such as holidays or my beautiful niece had a dance recital, etc, and it's always... nice. we recently went just because my boyfriend has been going out to things without me and he wanted to do something with me. We sat in the lounge area, server was Karen, and it was the absolute best ever. She was the greatest and so helpful! And the food was beyond delicious! Well where do I begin...... We walked in and the host didn't great us or ask how of us there were. (It was only my husband and I) The host just walked off without saying a word to us. So someone else who was sweeping asked us how many and then were told to wait. We waited for 15 minutes. The host was never at the front. A family of about 5 walked in waited about 5 minutes but the host never came. So they left. As we were sitting there someone from the back came out and was counting all the tables that were dirty. He went back in the back and was yelling. Finally the host came to seat us. Probably because I put my purse on my shoulder and got up and moved to the door. As we were following the host was passed up about 7 tables/booths that were clean and empty. When we sat down at the booth the table wasn't very clean. The host just left without saying anything. On the bright side our waitress came to our table very fast and took our drink order when she came back we ordered chips and salsa. She came back very fast and we were ready to order. She checked on us often always making sure we had full glasses. She was friendly and good about making sure we had everything. The food was great. My husband ordered the classic sirloin. Lol he thought it was delicious. I got the chicken enchilada soup. It was so good. We will probably be back but it might be awhile. They really need to get the host duties down. read more
