From chicken sandwiches to tenders, nashville hot is not a new commodity, which I didn't indulge in because I have to watch the spice level on most foods, but when I saw Chili's come out with these Nashville Hot Mozz sticks, I knew one day I would have a major cheat day and try them. Fast forward to this weekend, and instead of joining the group for dinner and paying an astronomical amount of money at the hotel restaurant, I decided to use my Uber Eats that had been enticing me for months amd order from Chilis- specifically to taste the Nashville Hot mozz sticks. First off, the mozz sticks are huge! Theyre almost very close in size to a regular size hershey chocolate bar, but thick because of the cheese. Secondly the seasoning was plentuful as the mozz sticks were coated thoroughly with Nashville Hot seasoning infused with the breading of the sticks. Drizzle some ranch dressing on the mozz sticks and that first bite will not be your last! Since I order the Triple Dipper, I received 2 sticks. This was plenty to endulge with, along with the burger and 4 wings, which I upcharged to get turned into Nashville Hot, this app is a winner! I ordered my burger well done, but it arrived undercooked. The manager apologized and brought out a replacement, saying it would be "on her." However, when we received the bill, both burgers were included. We informed our server, and one burger was removed. We also informed our server that the manager had told us the replacement would be free. The manager then came over and asked if there was an issue with the bill. We explained that we were still being charged for a burger that we were told would be covered. She responded by saying, "I can see how confusing this is for you," and explained that the replacement burger was the one she had intended to cover. Chili's has always been a mediocre staple of American dining. It's not top tier but it's also not bottom shelf. We go here out of convenience and sometimes necessity when there's nothing else open since they're open later on the weekends compared to other restaurants. Now that there are plenty of other options in The Woodlands it would be hard to choose Chili's over those other options. Drinks are always watered down when I come here. It's like they barely put any liquor in the margaritas. The appetizers and entrees are good enough. The service is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get good servers, other times you get servers who are barely at your service. Chili's is pretty family friendly though and large group friendly so it's not a bad idea to take kids here. Plenty of options in the menu and they have a bar area or TV's around if you want to watch a sports event. read more

The next night I already started feelings symptoms. By saturday morning I was violently throwing up every ten minutes. This chilis is by far the worst I've EVER had. We went with some people we've been knowing to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This location on a Friday night is bumping so call ahead seating is a must! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We maxed out our El Presidente allowance, had 2 triple dippers, and a skillet queso. These all exceeded everyone's expectations! Then the entrees arrived which kept the momentum going and did not disappoint. Of course we needed to top it off with the lava cake and I can tell you, that is a must have. Maybe the best dessert on the planet. The only thing that wasn't 5 stars was the AC system made it feel a little swampy-ass, but that won't prevent us from going back very soon. Great food & service! I just had their 6 oz sirloin, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli for an early dinner. The steak was perfectly cooked! Location is by I45 and pretty easily accessible. Honestly the food isn't great. Service is fine. The inside is a bit dated and old. The food were, almost for sure, frozen then cooked quickly. The Sampler was decent, with the spring rolls, Buffalo bites, and crispy chicken. The entree however was less than desirable with the quesadillas (weird sauce and an off taste), ribs (they were fine), and fried chicken (not great...) Best deal here by far is the endless soup, salad, and chips and salsa, which unfortunately is now only available M-F during lunch. They still have a great deal, 3 for Me value meal which includes a beverage, appetizer, and entree for around $11-15. I got the Old Timer with cheese, added grilled onions, and the Dip Trio. Hubby got the Just Bacon Burger with Chicken Enchilada Soup. Delicious burgers, and I was surprised by how good their white queso was. Chips and salsa are always a hit. Service was also great. You would think with their name this would be the best and it was actually pretty decent, meaty with a tasty sauce but a five dollar bowl of soup ought to last more than 5 spoonfuls still it was the highlight of the meal. Thank goodness I ordered a burger to accompany, or not. The burger was unremarkable with some sort of undefined sauce on it (not in the description) and unseasoned not at all cooked meat. Drinks all tasted of dishwater. Asked for salsa to try to cover the greasing, but their salsa was like canned tomato sauce. My friend had the steak and potatoes she said the steak was fair and very tender. But the mashed potatoes were completely covered in bacon bits, very over salted. I never wanted to visit a chili's before because the reviews have always been off-putting. however my SIL invited my fiancé and I to eat here for the margaritas and i was truly surprised of how well everything was. the hosts were hosts lol not much to say about them. our servers have always been very accommodating and helpful each time we come here. their margaritas are tasty and quick. the food as well is always top notch! They once had tortilla soup that was very good, they got rid of it now some kind of enchilada soup that taste like it came straight out a can. My current disappointment is how they ruined the only thing that was good, the chicken crisper. What was once a chunky juicy chicken tender with a light batter is gone. This is our go-to when no one can decide what to eat, but after our last few times of dining here, we end up walking out and saying, "Nah, never again". I have to say the service is always friendly but the restaurant if you go on a weekend for dinner is super noisy and the food lately has just been "meh". The Quesadilla Salad is a meal in itself that will leave you plenty satisfied, but honestly you'll have to go for a 5-mile run because it's like having a protein shake along with steak and eggs. What's the point? A salad with corn and beans and a grilled quesadilla which you'll devour. You think you're being "good" ordering a salad...then here comes a carb-fest. The kids menu is always a winner with my boys but on our last visit, they were out of everything. No apple juice, no flurry drinks, and remember no spinach dip...oh, and the kiosk didn't work (which sadly was due to the storms-so no further explanation needed). My signature dish is always the Caribbean Shrimp salad. But in all the years, I swear the cook puts his own spin on it or they change the recipe. It use to have pico and corn chips. This time, no pico, no corn chips and bland pineapple, and sadly just little mandarin oranges from Del Monte. I think I'm done with this experimental "saiad". The coupons are usually a big saver, "Free appetizer", "Free kids meal with adult meal", but lately I've seen few and far of those. Don't believe the hype. I got an email from chilis at 3:15pm on today, Friday 11/17/23. Join us for $4 Modelo drafts. Email clearly says when football is on, happy hour is on. So me and the wife go to watch the 2 live college games. Well no Modelo, all out. Says distributor was running behind. No big deal, they have plenty on the happy hour menu. So we sit there for 3 hours watching football ordering drinks off the happy hour menu. Come check out time I was charged full price for all my drinks. I bring this to the bartender attention and he proceeds to tell me that it's for NFL games only. Well why does the email say join us tonight for football happy hour, there is no NFL games on Friday. This is clearly false advertisement. No where in the email does it say NFL games only. I mean college football is king, way more games than the NFL. So to have a advertisement that says happy hour as long as football on is crazy, most of the time football's on its not happy hour. I didn't fight it and accepted his explanation and paid the bill. But I will never return to watch football, that's for sure. The drinks were as advertised but the price was not. Without the happy hour for football deal there is many places I'd rather watch football, the deal is why I showed up.
