My husband and I arrived on Saturday right at peak dinner time around 6:00 PM. You definitely need to get here earlier if you don't want to wait over an hour. We decided to check for open seats at the bar and that was full too. However, there are a few small "open" seating near the bar first come first serve for full service. Fortunately, we only waited about 15 minutes and were able to grab a table. The downside is the table is pretty small so by the time you have drinks and your food there is very minimal space. Be prepared to be overcrowded with people standing by the bar. Overall, service was good considering how busy it was. Shelby was our server and she was attentive and apologetic about the food taking awhile, which was understandable since they were busy. The food was just mediocre. I've been to different locations and this one was just okay. I was surprised that the micheladas weren't ridiculously expensive compared to El Tiempo or Ninfa's. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and they were okay nothing to brag about. My husband ordered the chipotle Chicken Fajita Tacos and they were okay nothing great about them. We also ordered the Beef Fajita Nachos and they were horrible. The cheese and chips were dry and soggy, the beef dry and overcooked. The presentation wasn't appealing either. We usually go to Pappasito's in Dallas and ALWAYS get the ribs but we're in Houston and it's Wednesday so we tried the special, a pound of fajitas for $50. Although it says beef & chicken we were told we could get all beef which, of course, we jumped on. Found out later $15 was added for all beef which would've upset me had the beef not been cooked so perfectly. Added diablo shrimp which was only 4 shrimp for $14 but they were the absolute highlight of the meal! Remember, the beef was a 5/5 and the shrimp was even better!! Highly recommend. I know its a large chain but they do have some of the best fajitas out there. The pork fajita was the best. We got the family fajita dinner with pork beef and chicken. The first place where the chicken fajita wasn't overly processed and was very juicy. The stuffed shrimp crab cakes were to die for. They were so good I went home and recreated them. We were seated on the patio the far back right side table, across from the server station. We had our first, two month old grandbaby visiting from Denver. There were no fans near us and no breeze thanks to the unneccesary brick walls next to us. Needless to say we were sweating before we ordered. Worst dining experience ever. We were embarrassed that we bragged about this place to our son in law as it was his first time ever. We complained when we got our check and the waiter suggested we provide feedback to a manager. The manager came over to which my husband attempted to explain our horrible experience. Manager didnt even let my husband finish speaking when he began to explain the reason for the poor air circulation. We already knew that, we were sitting in it. This is obviously a complaint they've received before. Manager didnt offer an apology, a discount, or a gift card for a future visit. The only thing he gave us were poor excuses and that he hoped we come back when my daughter returns for Thanksgiving. I am very disappointed in the way our concerns were handled. read more

For our party of 10, including 4 children, we were seated in short order for our request to sit outside. All the hostesses were sweet and polite. Our waiter, Charles, did a great job with service to the kids and adults! We always enjoy the outside area especially since the weather was perfect. As usual, the food was delicious and plentiful. Trying not to fill up on chips and salsa is also a challenge! One suggestion: have the hostesses bring menus for adults like they do for children. Pappasitos is my favorite restaurant! The beef and chicken fajitas are an absolute must order plated on a sizzling cast iron served with garlic butter, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The best topping is to add the Queso dip onto your fajita. Once a year my now 91 year old grandma visits from Chicago and the first stop she always requests is Pappasitos, especially to get a frozen strawberry margarita. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There can be a long wait on evenings or weekends but it is well worth the wait. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner in one of the party rooms and the event coordinator was efficient and easy to work with. Definitely a 10/10 recommendation for anyone in the area. read more

We had the beef and chicken fajitas with grilled onions, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, grated cheese and an additional order of 4 Diablo shrimp. The meal also came with charro beans and rice. Again, my husband loves Pappasito's. We got there right when they opened. It was his birthday, and he was so excited. I love the landscaping at all the locations, this is definitely some of the best. The service. We had someone training. We ordered queso, which didn't come until we asked another waiter, who brought it immediately. We ordered our food. Then we waited. And waited. The tables around us were all getting their food, but not us. The table next to us sat down after us, ate, and paid the bill before we were served. It was explained to us that the they had accidentally used the trainees card, so our order didn't go through. I ordered cheese enchiladas , queso instead of chile con carne, flour instead of corn tortillas, and extra onions. I got corn tortillas and no onions. When asked if I wanted what I had ordered, I said no, we had already been waiting a really long time. The server and trainee were totally cool with leaving me with something that was not made correctly. At the end, the comped everything, which was incredibly generous. The service was terrible. The queso was overly salty, but comping the whole thing will ensure they will be getting more visits from us. I do also think after things started going wrong, they should have pulled the trainee and given us a professional. read more

The service was *amazing* and very attentive, without being over the top. My friend and I ordered green tea shots, white tea shots, and sangria, along with our individual meals. I got the Coronado plate that came with a cheese enchilada, a beef taco, and 3 shrimp that were wrapped in bacon and stuffed with jalapeños. *SO* good. For dessert, we opted for the ice cream that was covered in coconut and chocolate... a wonderful way to end the meal. Pappasito's is a class act restaurant. We were greeted by Justin and what a friendly fantastic guy. The best customer service I've ever had at a restaurant in Houston area. Justin took our drink order and served our beers in lightning speed fashion. He brought us ribs to try complementary... I was like WOW!!! This is a great place I could tell right off the bat. I ordered the Sombrero taco / Enchiladas rice and beans... PERFECT taste and lightning speed service. Justin checked on us and kept serving up the beers. We also ordered some queso with chips... and when they bring chips... you could feed a small army with the amount of chips you get. 100% satisfied and delicious on everything we ate. Service is always consistent and attentive for such a massive restaurant. My only complaint is the ticky tack up charges for some of the accompaniments and I like Arnold Palmers (half unsweetened tea/half lemonade). They charge an up charge for refills "due to lemonade," but if it's half n half, why not half the up charge since iced tea refill is unlimited??? Don't get me wrong I'm furious about up charges for refills on fountain beverages all together......gimme a break! read more
