Today we decided to give this restaurant a try for lunch, and we were not disappointed! The restaurant is located right next to the Waterway, offering amazing views and a relaxing atmosphere. The drinks were fantastic. I had the hibiscus sangria, and it was absolutely delicious. For lunch, I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos, and they were excellent. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. The restaurant was quiet during our visit, so we had the place almost entirely to ourselves, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was so good, and we'll definitely be back. We'll also be recommending this spot to everyone we know!

I went to Cyclone Anayas for Happy Hour. The food was good and the waiter that my wife and I had was really good. His name was Mario. The restaurant was nice and clean as well.

Haha, I came back and got The beautiful spirited Leydi again, I hope she get everything that beautiful like her. Best service and conversation. I'll be back always!

So, the El Don Margarita? Fire. Strong tequila with just the right touch of sweetness--like tequila gave me a warm hug and whispered, "You deserve better." But the food? Tragic. The "family meal combo" came out bland and underseasoned, like the chef ran out of salt and ambition. And the biggest crime? No. Green. Sauce. At a Tex-Mex spot?! That's like a donut shop being fresh outta donuts.

Great little place. Access to it is almost like a speakeasy tbh. Nicely decorated and long bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. The views of the river walk are excellent. Shelby is a very friendly and attentive server and bartender who interacts well with guests. Make sure you stop in for really good and quickly served Tex-Mex. Catch the game or listen to the music. Great spot.

I had a fantastic lunch with a great view on the patio. The lunch menu offered a great variety, but the fajitas were the perfect portion and price. The garlic butter served alongside was absolutely amazing and added the perfect touch to the meal. Will definitely be back. Great service too!

Came here for a lunch. We didn't have to make a reservation because it was a weekday lunch. They brought us chips and salsa right away which was delicious and made to perfection. Service was nice and friendly. I had a power bowl with ahi tuna which was ok. Definitely wasn't amazing. However, portions were huge, definitely Texas style. Ambience is nice, I guess typical Tex/mex interior, but the big plus that restaurant is facing the water, so you get to have a view.

Food was pretty decent. Our server was amazing! We had a large party here last night and they didn't skip a beat. I was quite shocked to see that they were charging $30 for an $11 bottle of wine. I shouldn't be surprised but I was. The look and feel of the restaurant is perfect for a get together or a family dinner.

First time alert! Friend knows I LOVE Mexican food so wanted to try Cyclone Anayas. We arrived during happy hour so enjoyed frozen margaritas on a hot day! We shared the happy hour empanadas and fajita chicken tacos as appetizers. We also shared the medium fajita combo (steak and shrimp) which comes w/ all the sides and we each received our choice of 2 sides. We definitely had enough for leftovers the next day. Our server Javier was awesome! He provided great food recommendations and ensured the bar could make our drinks and shared any additional costs. Would definitely come back!

If I could have given a 10 out of 5 I would.Rob our server, gave us exceptional service from start to finish. We had reservations for another restaurant across from Cyclone Anayas and unfortunately we walked out before ordering since didn't feel welcome. Our group of 4 found Cyclone Anaya' s to be exactly what we wanted for brunch. Set next to the Woodlands waterway, they have the most comfortable seating. Our orders were taken quickly and they even offered a birthday song for EM at the end of our meal.Their tres leches dessert is absolutely delicious. It was perfectly sweetened with real creme on top and enough to share for 4. Their tortilla soup was over the top with avocado , tortilla strips and cilantro with the right amount of spices. Dejavu moments were coming due to this restaurant sits at the Ironman Texas finish line where I used to shoot as media over 10 years. Definitely worth a drive from Htown and will absolutely be back.

While in the woodlands decide to check out this spot. It definitely had a great view of the canal with turtles and ducks That's why I decided to sit outside which was a good move. Started out w complimentary chips and dip which is always welcome and delicious The entree I had was the beef and chicken tacos with the side of brussel sprouts and garlic spinach. The tacos were nothing special & the garlic spinach stay away from that but the brussel sprouts were great and the server was very understanding and nice. He subbed out the garlic spinach for a side of the beans he recommended which were excellent. I recommend the beans and the brussel sprouts for sure. I might have just been hit or miss with the soft tacos. I would definitely say this spot wins on The view and the service I might have just caught him on an off day as far as the tacos are concerned, but if I'm back in The woodlands I'll give it another shot and try some of the items but I would definitely get those beans and brussel sprouts for sure

Wonderful experience here with our exceptional server Cody, whose charismatic personality made our night. We loved the outdoor view along the side, and enjoyed a couple of jumbo margaritas (I got the "Mardi Gras" with BOTH sugar and tajin on the rim). Pretty good queso with velveeta flavor- the salsa was superb!! And then shared the beef fajitas with a side of shrimp- that was the move. Cody packed up our leftovers with a lot of care and had great recommendations. We would definitely be back anytime with him as our server!

This is an older building, but I'm not sure how long they have been here. In summary, I was not really impressed with my meal, but this is a super casual place and the prices are right. I started off with their house small frozen margarita. If you just need a basic one, this will do. It's nothing fancy. For comparison, their fresh margaritas start at $12 currently. Their salsa is served at room temp and you receive both a green and a red one. The red one was my fav. It was also the spicier of the two. I ordered their beef fajitas for one which is only $20. Let's see how it compared to my favorite in town which is much more expensive. Beef fajitas- these are your basic beef fajitas with store-bought tortillas. The sizzling skillet comes with 2 types of grilled onions, tomato, and grilled bell pepper slices. The beef is tender, I'll give them that, but the quality is low. You receive a lot of Pico de Gallo, not much guacamole, and an avg amount of rice and beans. The grilled onions were not grilled very long at all. I noticed a couple of the slices of beef were not cut against the grain, so they were a bit more chewy. Overall, service was average. They never asked me if I wanted a 2nd margarita until after I sat around for 10 mins and then even asked for the check. By then, its way too late to ask a customer if they want a 2nd drink, I guess that's how low key they are. At the end of the meal my glass of water was nearly empty too, but no server was to be found at the bar. In fact, they didn't really even man the bar most of the time with the 4 customers sitting there, including me.

Ordered friend shrimp and oysters with grits and fried okra. Loved the grits and fried okra but the fried shrimp seemed like it was frozen as the crust fell off when I picked it up. It was tasty and I ate it so it was Goode! Also, ordered an iced tea that was fresh and clean tasting so their equipment is well maintained. You can tell if any restaurants do not clean their dispensers as the tea tastes bitter or is milky looking. Why do I know this? You ask? Because my Dad was a coffee/tea delivery man and when I was a child he use to take me on Saturdays to run his route. We visited several Luby's Cafeteria's where he made sure the dispensers were clean and that they were making the tea properly. He showed me how he used the brushes to clean the tubes, dispenser handle and used special cleaning material on the inside. It makes a difference if your tea dispenser is clean... have I convinced you yet? Wow that was a rant! The bottom line is they have great iced tea!

We entered to a friendly staff who sat us immediately. The vibe is very modern with some Mexican influence. We were with another couple and I think they were under the impression that this would be Tex-Mex, but it is not. For drinks I got a Mezcalina, my wife got a normal margarita normally I don't love Mezcal, but was feeling adventurous and this drink did not disappoint, it exploded with flavor and was my favorite drink I have had here. The bar program might be the best of any restaurant in the area, as it should be since they have a speakeasy as well. In my previous trip they brought us complimentary chips and salsa, but the time they brought Mexican hummus and pita. I was initially disappointed, but this was one of the more unique complimentary dishes I have had, and loved it. For starters, we got the TOSTADA CHUTORO, which was a tostada with raw fish and caviar. There were two, and although smaller bites to share, the flavor once again really shined through. I would say this is similar to a ceviche dish with really fresh fish and bright flavors.

Food was very good, but I'm not sure if I could consider anything spectacular enough to justify some of the prices. I decided on the Aguachile Wagyu, which was perfectly cooked and paired with charred herbs. My friend ordered Tacos de Filete, which she said were, "okay." We also had a few drinks... They were heavy pours. My only complaint is that the tajin-salt rims were more for decoration (smeared across the side of the glass and not very hygienic) rather than for the palette. Worth mentioning: We were never offered any chips or salsa, although I've read reviews where other patrons enjoyed some before their meal. Our server was friendly, but a bit disconnected.... Maybe that was the biggest problem - - the experience was diminished due to lackluster service.
