On Sunday, my family and I visit the Chili's in Victorville. We always have great costumer service, but the last two visits have been unpleasant. The first time a server dropped plates full of ketchup on my son (that was not ours) on Sunday we were sat and forgotten, we got our drinks and half of our appetizers, when we asked for napkins we were given 2 napkins for a family of 4. When they brought our food out we sat there with no utensils and with no one to ask for us tensile, when we finally asked someone they brought us two sets when we really needed 4.?The server kept coming apologizing saying, sorry I'm all by myself another server called off, but the whole time I can see her having a conversation with another worker at the bar area. First time I've ever been to Chili's, we sit down and in the booth next to us these people are getting loud and aggressive and cussing up a storm. My wife is closest to the people next to us and she asked them very nicely if they could calm down. These were (2) grown me with loud and abusive speech with small children in their booth as well as ours. The server could see the hostility and asked if we would like the manager and we agreed. The manager did come however the way that he handled the situation in regards to moving us to another area was totally inappropriate which usually could've caused these gentlemen to become hostile as they're drinking their drinks and getting louder and louder. in addition, the kids on their side were vibrating the table through the wall connection of the booth so much that it was vibrating our table more fierce than an unbalanced washing machine which Genuinely showed the frustration of the children that were with them. The manager came and was directly across from them at our table, pointing to different places in the restaurant of where we could move seating while it was plain to see that we wanted to move because of their behavior which could've could have left us in a very hostile /compromising situation whereas in this day and age people are willing to take someone's life for the most petty situation. When we again talk to the manager about how we handle the situation and how things could've escalated, it seemed as if their behavior was not a problem at all to him. WE WONT BE BACK! read more

Since my last review, we have gone back a few more times. Each time there has been at least one thing that has gone wrong. We have had several nasty cups with lipstick and or food that was not ours. Hair in our food. We've had bad service and no service. Floors and tables are always filthy. My husband has finally put his foot down and said no more, I agree. read more

Heading to the high desert??? This location is BY FAR better than the Barstow Chili's!!! If you are experiencing a craving for this restaurant do yourself a favor and go to the one in Victorville! Time and time again I have put this to the test and EVERY TIME Victorville comes out on top! Whether it's dine in or to-go THIS LOCATION GETS IT RIGHT! (I actually love getting stuff to-go from this Chili's they are always on top of things and are happy to accommodate any of my special requests!) They even give me a to-go water with lemon every time! I would like to thank AMANDA, for her exceptional service and care that she gave my family Sunday night. We came in to celebrate my oldest daughters eleventh birthday and she made the evening fantastic! With three little ones dining out always keeps you on your toes and to have an exemplary server doesn't go unnoticed! Came to have dinner. It was pretty loud (no surprise there), but the main thing is, I had to keep repeating myself to my server. She just could not seek to hear me or understand me. The part that bothered me was that she made me feel stupid by the way she did it. It was freezing cold in the restaurant, with most patrons in sweaters or looking chilled (no pun). We asked if she could change it, she said yes but forgot. They forgot to bring silverware and napkins, even with our appetizer. We had to ask for pretty much everything. When she (the server) finally got to us with silverware, mine had no fork. Another 5 minutes forkless. Then sitting eating dessert, another server leaned over my booth, and opened the shade. She just about dragged her boobs on me doing so. And she was so loud and rough with the blinds that it was a definite distraction. We ordered margaritas. Everyone but us got glass margarita glasses. We got a plastic margarita cup. Overall, it will be a good long time before I come back. read more

I have been to a lot of Chili's restaurants all over the country. I must say, the taste is very similar to one another. It doesn't matter if I'm in Northern California or Southern California, the West Coast or the East Coast the taste seem to always be the same. The place could be jammed packed with customers but you will still get your meals served to you in a reasonable amount time. Some other chains can learn from this one! This review is long overdue. It was a couple years ago when I took my mother and brother for my mother's bday lunch. She loved Chilis and was hoping for a nice burger. Well, she asked for it well done and got a burnt piece of crap. I ordered water and got a nasty glass and the water tasted like it came from the dishwashing sink. When we explained to the waitress our concerns, she rolled her eyes, grabbed the plate and drink and stormed off. At this point we decided that we didn't want anymore and just asked for the check. The manager came to our table to ask what was wrong, we explained the situation and he asked if we wanted anything else. We refused. This waitress might have had a rough day, but if the kitchen screws up, we're not blaming you, don't act like we are attacking you. Also, BRING ME A GLASS OF FRESH WATER IN A CLEAN GLASS! I'm not sure why I make the mistake of going to these over popular, low quality, over crowded chain restaurants. There all the same thing out here, chilis, chachkees, Applebees, ect. Oh wait thats because I live in the High Desert, and thats the only thing people like out here. Show up at 6-8pm and you'll be waiting 1-2 hours. Yea I said 1-2 hours for CHILI'S. Yep thats right folks CHILI'S. With that said this is the 3rd time I have had bad food, along with a bad atmosphere. Nothing but dude bro's everywhere giving you bad looks, loud obnoxious people at the bar thinking its a frat party for VVC. The service is usually pretty good, I have only had one bad server here. Yet the food is very bland, not a decent menu, and it does not feel original at all. Please whatever you do steer clear of the "Queso Dip" it comes out very watery with chunks of mystery meat. I have tried the ribs, burgers, pasta, almost every major thing on the menu, Nothing even seems to shine through, and usually I find one thing I like at these places, oh and don't even bother getting a steak here, NOT GOOD. This is hands down the worst Chile's we have been to. It's obvious the Managment isn't there. The very first table you see as you walked in the door wasn't bussed the entire time we were there. So for over an hour we looked at the food on the floor and trash and empty plates as we sat across from it. Worse service ever. Our server Stacy forgot to put it our appetizer. After 30 minutes I asked about it and then she brought my niece's and I asked again. Stopped here on our drive from Vegas to LA for what we thought would be a quick lunch. Got there at 1248 and were seated quickly and our order was taken fairly quickly by a very nice server. Our soups came out quickly, but our entrees took 35 minutes. It's not like we ordered something complex. My wife and I both had salads. After about 30 minutes, we stood up and were about to leave when the hostess came over and told us to just wait while she went and checked on it. Magically our food appeared. Everyone apologized, but didn't even offer us so much as a free drink. Also, I ordered iced tea and never got it. Seeing what a cluster f this place was in didn't even bother bringing that up to the server. Let's start off with my main entree, it came first before my appetizer as I watched people who had just arrived already receiving their food I didnt receive my appetizer till an hour later, you would expect it to come faster given the fact it was a slow day during the week had not been with very little people there. I used to love Chili's back when I lived in Chino Hills so much that I used to eat there almost every week. USED TO. This is the second time I have been here to this location, and I must say that I don't think I will be coming back. The first time was decent, although they did forget to bring my eggrolls and then tried to charge for it. This experience was worse than the first. We came in on a weekday at 7pm. Parking was no problem and we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Service was friendly. The place was about 3/4 full. However, it took about 20 minutes to bring our appetizers, but my salad was still missing (which I had asked to brought out first). I finally made eye contact with my waitress, who was cleaning another table, and then magically my salad appeared... a few seconds before our entree was served. My $16 steak was cooked a perfect medium, but was way too salty. My garlic bread was charred on one side. Mashed potatoes were dense and heavy. My simple side salad tasted better to me than the rest of the meal. On top of the bad food, we were seated next to the kitchen and could hear employees being loud, laughing, and messing around. They even broke a glass because they were messing around so much. Severely disappointed. The nice waitress is the only thing keeping this place from a 0 star rating. read more

I went to this chili's and we had the best server! We loved getting her when we would go! She was the sweetest girl and you could tell she had the kindest heart! The evening we went my husband and I decided to give her a tip she deserved and one she would remember. I'm not going to say how much but if she every reads this she will know who I am talking about:) the food here is crazy good always the best quality and the environment is always pleasant for my family and I! We will always recommend this place just sad that the night I gave that girl her tip we found out it was her last day. Just like Ryan P. I feel the same about these cookie cutter spots, though Chili's has previously scored higher in the arena of kitschy restaurants, but this one is low grade. My step madre and I went on her lunch break before I escaped back to the LBC. She had mentioned that it always takes forever when she goes in, but looking around, she felt optimistic about this visit since it's wasn't too busy. Our waitress was quick to arrive, greet and offer up our drinks. She returned for our order, offering assistance when my step mom couldn't find her tried and true quesadilla. And then we waited. And waited. And we waited some more. Eventually her chicken fajita quesadilla came out (with sour cream though she requested none) and my chicken fajita pita with fries too. The pita was good, the fries not so much. I wanted some ranch dressing to ease them down so I scoped out for our waitress. I waited. And waited. And waited even more. She never came back. I had to ask another waitress, though she was hard to find. I was about ready to go into the kitchen to ask since they were all looking busy in there. Seriously, it didn't look like they were just standing around, but I have no idea how you can be that busy on a Thursday afternoon. I got my ranch. On Veterans' Day, 2012, some of my family (6 of us) went to Applebees in Victorville to celebrate my daughter's 22nd b'day.. we waited at least 5 min. before being acknowledged & then, were told a party as large as ours would take at least 30 min. to set up~the place was only about 1/3 full w/many empty tables.. The hostess was not apologetic nor friendly~ we told them "no, thank you" and left. So, we headed to Chili's down the road apiece. The place was busy, warmly decorated and honoring our service people w/a table up front w/placards acknowledging all they do for our country. The decor was very patriotic & welcoming. We were greeted immediately & friendly & were sat right away for a large party of 6, without any reservations. In spite of the revolving door of patrons coming in ~ we were still treated very well. we were not forgotten and service & food was great. Came here on Veteran's Day and even though it was packed due to the holiday, the wait time wasn't bad for a table. Once seated, we were greeted immediately by our server, got our drinks and were able to order within a few minutes. I swear i've had the worst experiences ever here.......... This one had us sitting next to a lady there with her 7 (yes i said 7) kids. Shouldn't these people be put in the back??? Regardless, our server was obviously overwhelmed with them, but super duper nice, i think her name was Angel. Food was extremely slow to come out, so thank god we had the southwestern egg rolls, which were good. When the meals finally did show up i had the 1/2 dry 1/2 wet ribs. The first 1/2 of dry was great, yummy and awesome. when i got to the 2nd, it was COLD! Not un-cooked frozen cold, but left on a counter for an hour cold. I had not been to Chili's in quite a few years. After going twice in the past month, I can't understand why I stopped going! The food is really fresh, they make it exactly the way you want (I'm vegan, ordered the Caribbean Salad substituting the meat for black beans, no dairy), and the service is top notch. Servers/waitresses were always asking to refill drinks, removing empty plates and making sure we had everything we needed. Placed a pick up ordered and had missing food. My chicken on my Cajun pasta was rubbery and disgusting. Worst experience ever.

The worst customer experience I have ever had. It was soo bad I had to open a yelp account. I waited over 58 min for my pick up order. After all the wait I get home half my order is missing. I call back manager who doesn't care no apology. Tells me I want food come pick it up? My half an order colder than ice. My drinks melted and he wants me to drive 20 min to get even more food. In a time where restaurants are barely making it and the rest of the world barely able to afford food. Is this the treatment anyone expects for their hard earned money? The food is good but every time we come we wait for 30-45 minutes to get noticed....(regardless of w/kids or w/o kids) today we were there for almost an hour in a half...most of the time waiting on the server to take our order or give us the bill...he gave my husband the wrong drink refill and the manager took the extra food out on our bill off and one of the kids meals because he knew I was very upset. They delayed my order by 1 hr and didn't even apologize for it. I had to repeatedly ask and shout before the manager came and said orders are on the way. Even then nothing showed up for a good 20-30 mins. I think they messed up and missed the order but didn't admit. There was a bit of chaos amongst employees and no one seems to be in the control.The waitress tried to make it up at the end by offering free soups and Nachos but the spirit of dining was already gone. The food wasn't even ok. At the best ok not really good. In all this stop at chili's delayed my trip by 2 hrs and left a bad taste in the mouth. I've lived in the high desert for a while. And this Chili's might be the best dine in place in Victorville! The nice host Megan helped us and seated us within a couple minutes, the server was very nice and all of our food was great. The steak was good awesome! The loaded cheese fries are to die for! Service was bad from the start. Checked in for 3 and was told 20 minutes. They offer where you can check your place in line on their app so when I checked it said I wasn't in line at any chili's. Complained to the host and she tried to say they called us but we weren't there. I asked my grandson where he wanted to go for lunch and he said Chili's. I haven't been to Chili's in years but the young prince wanted to go so that's what we did. Our waiter was pretty prompt. He walked up and greeted us with a big smile. He took our drink orders and then asked about any appetizers. I ordered the triple play...which is the old name. oops telling my age. It is now called the triple dipper and you get to choose 3 appetizers. I chose the boneless chicken, the chicken tenders and egg rolls with honey mustard, celery sticks and a strawberry lemonade. My grandson ordered a pepperoni pizza with pineapples on the side and a lemonade. What a combination but I guess he was making his own hawaain pizza. lol Everything was fresh and delicious. Except for the chips and salsa. The chips were fresh but a lil greasy. The chips were so thin they couldnt hold the salsa (chips just crumbled) Salsa didnt taste good either. Next time I will pass on the free Chips and Salsa. I did like the new Kiosk (They call it Ziosk) sitting on the table so you dont have to wait to pay. The kiosk also has games on it. I found out the hard way that the games cost money, once I recieved the bill. You know kids see prices and push ok cause they don't care. No big deal the game was only $1.99. My experience at Chilis today was good.The only reason that I gave a 4 star is because the waiter never came back to ask if we needed anything and I needed more napkins (duh ...finger foods with sauces calls for napkins) and a refill on the lemonade. When he did finally come to the table we were done with our food and waiting for about 15mins to get a to go box. He also acted as if I irritated him because I had to call him back after he walked away. He was pleasant the entire visit so I assumed it probably had something to do with the pretty lil girls that he was busy laughing with. I will return to Chili's when I want some more egg rolls. So we did a curbside pick up. Overall the food and our server was good. But our food was not warm. There was only one server helping all the cars and it was busy. So that would be why our food wasn't warm any longer order was to be ready at 5 pm and we didn't get it until about 20 minutes later so that would be the reason. Had just a general Chili's experience: nothing to bad, nothing very good. I had a grilled chicken salad, and the chicken was some of the better cooked/seasoned chicken I've had in such salads. But then the salad itself was wilted and drenched in, from what I could tell, a balsamic dressing that was 90% oil.
