I opted for the buffalo wings, southwestern eggrolls and the 2 bacon cheeseburger sliders. I was so hungry, I couldn't decide what to choose from with all the great selections, so with this I got a little but of everything. The time my family and I went there were hardly any people in the restaurant, which made our food service quick and our waiter was very attentive. As our food arrived, we all stuffed our faces. I first tried the southwestern eggroll, it was perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicious with southwestern flavors inside. The staff was so helpful!!!! They knew we were on our way to have dinner but had a emergency where they had to close early and when we arrived the Manager helped us out with getting Dinner. Another associate helped us out as well and was so helpful!!! The Manager ended up taking care of our Bill and even went above and beyond and gave us a $15 Gift Card. Bought the Famous 2 for $25 that comes with an appetizer, 2 entrees, and even dessert! I'm pretty sure it's meant to feed more than just two people and what a steal for under $30. I ordered takeout and it came in an enormous-sized bag. The bbq half rack of ribs never fails to disappoint with the meat falling right off the bone. The chicken fajitas are the perfect combination of vegetables and meat flavored delicately together. Onion Rings could be crispier but that was probably due to being a takeout order, so it's better to eat at the restaurant for freshness. The Cheesecake with strawberry dressing was perfect to top off this course for two. Teetering between 3.5 - 4 stars. One yelper said the food came out slow, and I have to agree. Even my tableside guacamole took a while... perhaps they had to pick the fruit from the tree? My friend wanted to watch the Anaheim Ducks game on tv, and didn't want to go to a sports bar for pizza and wings (although that's what I ended up having). He suggested coming to Chili's and eat in the bar area. Sure, why not! I had not been to a Chili's in like, 10 years. This Chili's is located off Imperial Highway and Yorba Linda Boulevard, at the corner of a weirdly configured strip mall. The mall itself isn't weirdly configured, but the parking lot was. If you're lucky, you can find one of the handful of parking spots located in front of the restaurant. Otherwise, you have to go through a weird pattern to find a spot, or, figure out how to park below the restaurant (which I didn't figure out until I walked up to the front door). Anyway, parking is weird, but there's plenty of spaces if you're willing to huff it... which I had to in frigid 45-degree California winter. The bar was located directly next to the hostess station, and there's about 10 tv's surrounding the bar area. We had the server change one of the tv's near us to the Ducks game, and we started off our evening with some diet cokes and the "endless" basket of chips and salsa. Later, I added table-made guacamole to go with the chips, which were 3 halves of avocados, mixed with onions, limes, cilantro. tomatoes and jalapenos.... later I added more salsa to give it more flavor. Overall, not bad at $7.99, and that also came with "bottomless" chips... and those chips were so addicting... we ate 2 baskets. Eventually we had to eat something more substantial. Karen ordered her usual "go to" bar item: the California flatbread pizza, but without the avocado as she's allergic to it. I had the smoked chicken wings, and they were surprisingly good! They had a very good smokiness to it, and reminded me of the chicken you get at an Izakaya Japanese restaurant, where they cook the meats over charcoaled wood. Roger had the sirloin steak, and subbed his baked potato with extra veggies. He commented the meat was exceptionally tender, and he was surprised at how much he liked his meal, and it was priced reasonably at $11.99. Service was decent, I've had much better. We had to ask for refills, but the server brought them quickly after we asked. I would come back, now that I know there's underground parking... and I'd sit at the bar area again. read more

I have bee coming here for decades (especially since it is one of the few family restaurants in Yorba Linda). I have been 3 times in the past 2 months and it has gone way down hill. Each visit my family has been told the restaurant is out of something. Visit #1: out of kids pizza and corn on the cob Visit #2: out of kids cups/lids and crayons Visit #3: out of blue cheese, kids cups/lids and crayons still (3 weeks later). In addition, the tablets are a disaster. The games and payment never work correctly. read more

Other Chili's I've visited since this whole table top electronic pay system went into effect has not been a great experience. It felt like they cut staff resulting in slower service and response when a server is needed. Since I had a gift card, we thought we would visit this one for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. Maybe Chili's got the message that they still need people to run the place, or maybe this location actually never cut their staff, but it finally felt like good service had returned. The food never really changed this whole time, and most Chili's are pretty consistent across the board. I enjoy the 2 for $25 meals. Our gift card wouldn't swipe so we had to flag down the server to help. Note that if you split the bill between 2 forms a payment, make sure you put the tip to 0% on the first swipe, and then add the tip to the entire bill on the last form of payment. read more

I think they should've anticipated the crowd. Next, we were seated by a very nice hostess. The server greeted us and brought our drinks. We asked for a few minutes to peruse the menu selections. We placed our order after 15 minutes being seated. We had to wait another 30 minutes to get our food. I ordered a soup with my food and the server waited to the rest of the food was ready before she gave it to me. This was very awkward for me because the table was so small and there was no room for all these extra bowls and plates. Now the food. I ordered the pick 3 Mexican selections: I chose the southwest soup, beef taco, and chicken quesadillas. The soup was fair, the chicken quesadillas were were dry and old. They had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least an hour. The beef taco came last which made no sense. It was disgusting!! The meat looked questionable. You could've gotten a better taco from Del Taco. The server was very nice but it took her 15 minutes to realize I needed a refill on my water. Overall experience is a one star. GUYS. It's Chili's. When you show up you have to remember that everything is going to be of a certain standard. If you do that, you should be fine. It's a low-middle end chain restaurant. Come for happy hour and junk food. Watch a game at the bar. Adjust your expectations. This particular Chili's is near my home so my husband, daughter and I have been here at least half a dozen times. Always plenty of parking and a friendly face to greet us when we arrive. We've never had any of the issues with service that some of my fellow Yelpers have experienced but I do know that this place gets crazy busy so we try to stay away from peak hours. The food here is always so-so, but again GUYS, it's Chili's. You can't expect too much. It's basically sit-down fast food. Keep that in mind and you should be fine. My husband and I have met here for a quick happy hour when we're working opposite schedules (so we can feel like we're on a mini-date) and we have found everything to be enjoyable. At our most recent visit I tried the blueberry pineapple margarita and it was delicious (and cheap) - and they gave us a mountain of chips! I'm writing this review because my mother and I received superior service from our server, Lisa. My mother wanted to celebrate her birthday by having her favorite meal for lunch today: baby back ribs from Chili's. We ordered our food and Lisa was so pleasant, smiling and responding: Of course, no problem! I ordered an Arnold Palmer and the taste was a bit off, due to the lemonade. Lisa showed no sign of annoyance. In fact, she showed concern and asked me if she could replace it with something else. I asked her for a plain iced tea which she quickly came back and set down before me. My mother had the lemonade and was trying her best to drink it. Lisa asked, "May I bring you something else?". My mother smiled while saying, "That's ok. Thank you." Lisa still showed care and concern and let her know the other options-- the mango iced tea and blackberry iced tea seemed to intrigue my mother; she settled on the mango iced tea. Super Server, Lisa, went above and beyond, bringing one of each (mango and blackberry iced tea). My mother ended up loving the mango and I really liked the blackberry, so we both ended up very happy. Before we left, Lisa brought out a small birthday treat for my mother to enjoy! When we asked for boxes, she not only brought us boxes, but also bags to put them in without us having to ask! This place is beyond down hill they don't have suitable items that are order and the menu doesn't have corrections. If you order through door dash or another service they won't discount or do anything other than replace it with something else. Some items are ordered for a reason like gluten free, this location sucks so bad that I will no longer go there I hope it closes and something else goes there. Not sure if I will give chilis the money that is required to feed a family. I will stick with Red Robin in the future since I've never had a problem with them. See ya Galicia no more orders from me. Inferior service with no priority for delivery drivers. Came here to pick up an order of only 2 items and waited for almost an hour. I've worked in restaurants and restaurant management and I understand it can get busy, and though waiting an hour for a burger and chicken tenders is absolutely ludicrous, my 2-star review is more so for the lack of communication and professionalism. After I waited about 15 minutes, a manager came out and asked for the name of my order. I assume she checked the kitchen but never said anything to me. 30 minutes in, I walk up and ask her for an estimate and she replies it's almost ready, and I still don't know how long "almost" is. I've been communicating with the customer to let them know their order's still being prepared (because communication IS important), and 45 minutes in the customer calls the restaurant to check on their order themselves. 5 min later they finally bring it out. For almost an hour that I waited, watching order after order get brought out except mine, not one staff member looked at me, came to check on my order and wait time, or apologized for the insane wait. (only the server who handed me the order at the very end who said "Here you go, sorry about the wait" you're okay I guess). I feel that maybe because I was a DoorDash driver, it wasn't important to them to treat me like a customer, but they forget that I'm also serving their customer. The meals come with fries but you get to pick the extra side (soup, salad, etc.). The quesadilla was average. There was chicken, peppers, onions, and cheese. Something that would not be difficult to make at home. I would not order it again because I don't like paying for things that I feel that I can make myself. This lunch special was $7. The condiments were pico de Gallo, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. Not sure what happened here at the Chili's in YL tonight, but there was definitely a serious lack of FOH management going on. From their odd seating of larger parties, to their slow-to-arrive salads and entrees, it was not a great night here. Our table may have had 6 chairs, but only 4 people's drinks & meals could realistically fit there... makes perfect sense that another party totally balked at the host's attempt to seat their 8 adults at the same size table next to us. We couldn't even fit all of our meal plates and drinks on our table at one time... :-/ The women's restroom stalls were nearly completely out of tolilet paper and one of the towel dispensers was out of order, but not marked as such. We've previously had great nights here at this location--on much busier nights, too, actually... when we were sat at an appropriately sized table with our orders delivered more quickly. Also, the management may also want to consider some sort of additional sound dampening - the side of the restaurant we were seated in made it nearly impossible to hear anyone at our own table. Le sigh. Fortunately, our server was courteous and attentive, but tonight's experience makes me wonder if tonight was just a fluke, like, their location was simply understaffed -- or if the quality of their FOH management really has actually changed for the worse... read more

I am not sure where to begin with this review as I've never had a restaurant experience be bad on so many parts. If you start with the service it is nonexistent. When we entered the restaurant it didn't appear to be busy and we were the only ones in the lobby and had to wait 15 minutes. That should've been our first sign. When we were seated we sat and waited another 10 minutes before being acknowledged by our server. Rather than continue to bore you the entire meal our server was basically nonexistent. We seriously thought about getting up and getting our own drink refills as well as what we might need from the kitchen. I always get the chicken strips because they taste somewhat like beer battered fish I know that sounds strange. Not this time. They were not even edible. They looked as if they had been cooked in charcoal or filthy oil. They were extremely hard to break apart as if they had been over cooked. The breading on them was a very dark brown and not golden brown like normal. The wife salad was also on recognizable as a salad. The lettuce was brown their cores from the base of the lettuce heads. She asked for her dressing on the side it was not delivered with her salad and it took at least 10 minutes to get it. Save your money, save your aggravation, and find a different restaurant. You will have a better dining experience and enjoy your meal far better. I did try to share my concerns with the manager but after waiting 10 minutes for them to appear at my table and didn't we left. This location would best serve the community by closing down and letting some other type of restaurant open that would provide better service and edible food. read more

My wife and I have frequented chili's for the past eleven years all around the country. We would usually allow for the individual establishment to correct the problem but when ordering togo, there is plenty of time to get things right, when there is a 30 minute delivery window. Although our order had the correct items, the condition of the order was terrible. We ordered three items, so one would think, make it right. First thing that was wrong was one of our Southwest Egg rolls was completely opened up (clearly before being placed in the togo container, see photo). Second was a completely over cooked burger. Cooked until it literally fell apart into pieces, when medium was requested. Hopefully management can address this issue, we welcome a response, since we really like Chili's. read more

If your wondering the dog was not a service dog as it kept getting in the way of everyone.
