OMGosh!!! This was actually one of my very first reviews from ten years ago, which explains why I was so confused when I showed up at the new location. I had no idea they moved five years ago! But honestly, the only thing that changed is the address, the food is still just as amazing as I remember. If anything, I'm glad they relocated. The new spot is perfect for a family dinner or just hanging out with the girls. I ordered all my favorites, the pork buns, pork egg foo young, and Yang fried rice. Everything was delicious and tasted just like old times. And Rose is still the owner, which made it feel even more special. We used to stop by after the show for lunch, and she would always be there, so it brought back a lot of sweet memories. So nice to see a place keep its quality and heart after all these years!

The food was really great and our service was very patient and nice mix I feel like our food came out really fast and it tasted really good. We came on a Sunday there wasn't that many people in there it's a really nice chill ambience. We'll definitely come back again.

Didn't have the food it's a me thing it's so nice in here but there a B . Working in the restaurant field it's a little off putting ! It's quiet !

Went there for quick lunch. Page was our server, she was very friendly with full knowledge of all different types of dishes. Her happy packed with energy attitudes made us more engaged and enjoying our meal even more. We ordered sweet and sour soup, wonton soup for the start then shrimp balls, shumai, chicken feet's that almost melted in my mouth, fried crabs, sautéed sting beans and hot green teas. Everything so delicious and fresh. The restaurant and rest room were extremely clean with perfect temperatures and lighting. They also served outside patio's as well for pets friendly. Love this place!

We celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday here with 45 guests and it went very well! Leo and Kevin (managers) were easy to communicate with leading to the event! I can't thank them enough! The food was great! They let us decorate our space. Parking was free and easy Would definitely recommend this place for a large party! Just order in advance!

    B rating. Terrible place

If I could leave negative stars I would! B Rating for this place at Ventura & Laurel Canyon. Was going to stop in an eat but was on a call and standing outside when the bar tender came out and told me to finish my call Somewhere else, I immediately said I'm coming in to eat and he said finish your call somewhere else. I told him to fuck off and left. By the way there was 1 other person in here. Never coming back and never went in.

Then of course hot and sour soup and Singapore noodles! This place delivers yet again literally and figuratively in every sense because the food came hot, fresh, delicious and I swear this filet mignon with veggies is delectable! The sauce it's in is delicious and the beef is so tender. The veggies also have just enough snap. The orange chicken is delightful as well just enough crisp (should reheat really well for one household folk like me who usually have leftovers) the sauce has just enough tang and orange element. The broccoli with oyster sauce is also delish, it was cooked to perfection with just enough snap but not too much on the stalks. It's not tough or difficult to enjoy or joins the chewing for ages club. Once again, this place is a total hit!! I just wish they had a few more items on menu but what they do--they do very very well!

That was my first mistake -- they don't even serve mu shu pork. That one's on me for not checking the menu first. I ended up getting my kung pao chicken and settled for the Mongolian beef, and veggie egg rolls. The Mongolian beef I could definitely pass on. The kung pao chicken was good at first, but somehow lost its flavor as the meal went on. The egg rolls were just okay. Nice and crispy on the outside, but too mushy on the inside for my liking. I was also pretty surprised (and a lot sad) that they didn't have hot mustard. The tea was really good though! Service was fine. The server was attentive, just clearly busy keeping up with all the takeout orders coming through. Ambience is definitely on the lower side here, so don't come expecting a nicer Chinese restaurant. It leans more Santa Ana burger joint vibes. That said, everything felt clean and they were pumping out a ton of takeout orders while we were there, so clearly they're doing something right. Overall, it just didn't hit for me, and I don't see myself coming back.

Nothing wrong with the dish. 3) Chicken Wings & Calamari Combo: nicely deep fried with plenty of onions and jalapeños. I really liked this dish as it was my first time. INTERIOR They designed this to really mirror some places on HK. It can be nostalgic for folks like our parents who grew up in that era. Place was clean. We ordered the porridge and fried donut combo, and while the porridge was good, the donut portion was small and obviously not freshly fried. We also got the steak and egg breakfast combo and the cut of the steak had a big fatty piece that was not really edible. Lastly, we got the pork blood, large intestine and chive noodle soup. While the intestine was nice and tender, the pork blood had zero flavor to it and I had to douse it in chili oil and soy sauce. All in all, ive had much better hk style breakfasts elsewhere w better price points. The hot milk teas were nice and strong, but probably won't be coming back.

But the real plot twist was the Pineapple Bun with Butter. I normally skip these because I find them too sweet, but theirs is a game-changer. Extremely crispy on the outside with that perfect slice of cold butter melting inside. I would recommend getting the salt and pepper pork chop - my dad says this is literally better than most places we've gone to. I think they season the batter, which is how its so flavorful. We also typically get the eggplant, which comes in a huge plate and comes with rice. My dad likes their curry but I'm not super excited about it. Its good, but not exciting, if you know what I mean.
