The food was really great and our service was very patient and nice mix I feel like our food came out really fast and it tasted really good. We came on a Sunday there wasn't that many people in there it's a really nice chill ambience. We'll definitely come back again.

OMGosh!!! This was actually one of my very first reviews from ten years ago, which explains why I was so confused when I showed up at the new location. I had no idea they moved five years ago! But honestly, the only thing that changed is the address, the food is still just as amazing as I remember. If anything, I'm glad they relocated. The new spot is perfect for a family dinner or just hanging out with the girls. I ordered all my favorites, the pork buns, pork egg foo young, and Yang fried rice. Everything was delicious and tasted just like old times. And Rose is still the owner, which made it feel even more special. We used to stop by after the show for lunch, and she would always be there, so it brought back a lot of sweet memories. So nice to see a place keep its quality and heart after all these years!

Happy hour menu deceiving and the waiter said he doesn't know if the food was on there . Weird vibe drink was good but it wasn't happy hour even though it says top liquor happy hour two for one drink just interesting drink was well made ! Prolly wouldn't come back though ! Didn't have the food it's a me thing it's so nice in here but there a B . Working in the restaurant field it's a little off putting ! It's quiet !

We had such a blast! I have not been here since they moved locations and I was not disappointed. They play classic rock, friendly service, efficient and quality food, good menu options. The kids and I loved the easy parking and escalators and the ambiance inside was relaxed and family-friendly with a view. There was also an optional bar to hang at.

We celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday here with 45 guests and it went very well! Leo and Kevin (managers) were easy to communicate with leading to the event! I can't thank them enough! The food was great! They let us decorate our space. Parking was free and easy Would definitely recommend this place for a large party! Just order in advance!

Went there for quick lunch. Page was our server, she was very friendly with full knowledge of all different types of dishes. Her happy packed with energy attitudes made us more engaged and enjoying our meal even more. We ordered sweet and sour soup, wonton soup for the start then shrimp balls, shumai, chicken feet's that almost melted in my mouth, fried crabs, sautéed sting beans and hot green teas. Everything so delicious and fresh. The restaurant and rest room were extremely clean with perfect temperatures and lighting. They also served outside patio's as well for pets friendly. Love this place!

Does this restaurant serve dim sum in the evening? Thanks!

    Yes they do

    Do you have soup dumplings?

I haven't been in a few months, but they did the last time I was there.

Is this place always busy? What's the average wait time if I were to go on a Sunday morning?

If you use the google feature to show you the busiest times/days its pretty accurate. I went on a Saturday at 2pm - it was almost completely empty expect for like 4 tables. Sunday is a busy day though when I was looking. Supposed avg wait time for…

Did anyone order their PEKING DUCK ? how is it?

My dad loved it. It didnt look dry - but I did not taste it.

Do you use MSG in your dim sum dishes?

    nope

Har gow wrapper was too thick/chewy and stuck together. Custard bun was dry. Shrimp rice noodle roll was just ok. The food was mediocre. Do yourself a favor and just make the drive to the SGV. Service was worse than could be expected. We were a table for 2 at 9:30AM on a Saturday. We didn't expect to be sat immediately, but we definitely did not expect for three walk-ins *after* us to be sat before we were. Parties of 3, 5, and 8 were all sat before us. I understand as a host, you must maximize space and seat according to size but seriously? They simply didn't want to waste a *whole table* on 2. After 25 minutes they sat us at a 6-person table in the back corner and she said, "You share this table," implying we would be a group table if another small party walked in. Then, no menu, no water, no napkins, no plates until we asked for each individually. Lo and behold, there were still at least 5 open tables an hour later, and we did not in fact need to have other parties join us... the food was definitely not worth this treatment.

This shop is best known for having one of the most affordable dim sum selections across the entire Los Angeles. [Parking]: Metered parking only with some paid parking lot options available. Our party came here on Sunday at 8 AM and had no issue finding available metered parking spots. Metered parking is free on Sundays. [Atmosphere]: Nothing to write home about. The expectation is to come here knowing exactly what to order so that you can leave in less than 10 minutes. [Menu]: All baked items have both Chinese and English labels. Yelp's top recommended options include Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, Baked BBQ Buns, Baked Pineapple Buns, Special Chicken Buns, Pork Shumai, and Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow). The shop also sells porridge, cookies, mooncakes, Chinese tamales, etc. *** Steamed BBQ Pork Bun ($1.40): The bun was hot and tasted good. Baked BBQ Bun ($1.80): This semi-sweet bun had a larger portion than the Steamed BBQ Pork Bun and this is definitely the one to order. Custard or Egg Tart ($1.60): Very flaky and it tasted better than I expected. *** Long story short - this bakery sells some of the cheapest dim sum you will find in Los Angeles. Are they some of the best dim sum items you will find? Not exactly, but they are fairly decent and $10 can stretch very far at this bakery.
