    P02. Combo Pho

I'm a recent Pho-natic eater. My husband is a long time pro. He can eat all kinds of pho, even the ones with tendon and tripe. I'm a brisket or rare ribeye only gal. I wish there was a 4.5 star rating that I could give. Both of our orders were good. I ordered the make your own pho. It lets you pick what cuts of meat you want instead of having to choose their preset combinations. I chose my two fave brisket and rare ribeye. This was great because I can't get these two together anywhere else unless I pay a upcharge that would make it upwards of $30. Unfortunately the broth imo was just meh. My husband ordered the combo pho which had rare ribeye, meatball, brisket, tripe, and tendon. He enjoyed it but felt the same way about the broth. The shrimp and pork spring roll was fresh and tasty. Sidestreet is a solid place to go for Pho. It just fell short of five stars because of its broth for me.

I enjoyed the eggrolls tonight and I liked it that the lettuce is already included in the order. The crispy fried noodle with chicken and vegetables are tasty and I always love the edges where it's is not soaked with gravy. Our waiter is prompt in taking our orders and our food arrived promptly as well. Very attentive staff. This restaurant is always full, a very popular spot at this side of town and I think the only Vietnamese restaurant around this area. It is a very relaxing night with Christmas songs played in the background. However hubby is sick of hearing Christmas songs after 10 minutes. lol

I ordered some Pho and some spring rolls to go. Taylor helped get my order ready & was very nice! The restaurant looks like a nice, fun, and clean place to eat in, but, it's just easier to get this to go as this location is close to home and I'm taking care of a sick spouse. We got a vegetarian pho, rib-eye pho and tofu spring rolls. We both enjoyed our soups & spring rolls. Everything from the broth to all the ingredients were fresh & flavorful. Perfect balance of spice & flavor. I highly recommend!

Another review and this time egg noodle with soup on the side. Other than price higher than others, portion is adequate. Nice portioned if nears, noodles, and vegetables. New owner has done well with the flavors.

This place offers quite affordable food for the price. I got a Thai tea and found it to be quite expensive but good. The garlic noodles had a nice flavor and the beef was thinly sliced and tender. The service was friendly and the food was served quick. The restaurant was clean but difficult to get to based on its parking lot configuration.

Been passing this spot a few times and we finally made it for lunch. We went on a Thursday afternoon and while the you can't tell from the outside how busy it is since the windows are pretty shaded, there were quite a few patrons already sitting inside. While we were there, a few more people came in, so this is a good sign. We ordered 2 of the "make your own Pho" where you can pick up to 3 different protein choices (all beef, didn't see chicken). For a small size (there are 2 sizes), each bowl is actually quite filling and it is a good price for a small ($15.99). The Pho was a 3/5: While it is good, I find it bland, doesn't have the depth that we liked comparing to another restaurant we often frequent. If there some depth in the flavors, I think we would definitely give it a 4 star. Another reason for the 3 star is: The spring rolls were expensive. We saw the price and thought, ok, it is expensive but maybe it is excellent, so we went ahead and ordered it. It was $10.99 for 2 rolls and they were just like any other spring rolls, with lots of lettuce, vermicelli and some boiled pork and shrimp. The sauce was also okay. For 2 "okay" rolls, I find the pricing was too much. That's about $5-something per roll and I didn't think they were that worth it. They staff is very friendly and the place is clean. And while the "make your own Pho" was cheaper than most places but the broth was lacking depth and the spring rolls were just okay to be so expensive. This was a miss, not a hit for me.

B01. Vermicelli with Charbroiled Meat and Egg Rolls

Clean restaurant with nice and friendly staff. We ordered rare steak pho and vermicelli with grilled pork (they have multiple meat option). Food came out within 4 minutes of order, very quick. I love the vermicelli. The meat here is not over seasoned, egg roll is not burnt and still hot when food came out. Pho broth is clear, but too much five spice scent for me. But that's just personal preference.

I've been coming to Side Street Pho and Grill for over 3-4 years now, and honestly, I don't know what took me so long to write a review because this place never disappoints. The food is consistently flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care and intention. You can taste the quality in every bite. From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted with friendly, professional service -- they're quick to bring water, take my order, and make sure I'm taken care of. The restaurant is always clean, the music and vibes are just right, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay awhile. My personal go-to? The pork bánh mì and the fried egg rolls -- chef's kiss! I love the freshness of the veggies and how thoughtfully the plate is put together. Also, their Thai tea is a must! So smooth and perfectly sweet. Oh, and today they even brought me a slice of watermelon at the end of my meal, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. Whether you're in the area or willing to make the trip (trust me, it's worth it), you will not be disappointed. This place holds a special place in my heart -- and their bánh mìs? Yeah, they live rent-free in my head I'll definitely be back again and again until I've tried every single dish on the menu.

Went for lunch and it was pretty empty for noon on a Saturday. Ordered c3 pork rice dish with a side of shrimp paste wrapped in tofu. And a chicken curry with baguette. The shrimp paste wrapped in tofu was amazing and tasted so fresh. Their rice dish was on point, definitely getting both again. The chicken in the chicken curry was very soft and pulled apart very easily. Very flavorful. Baguette was soft, the outer layer was crisp but still tender. Would highly recommend it. Bought shrimp spring rolls, the wrapper is a little chewy but the basil flavor was nice. Also bought Banh mi to go, but unfortunately completely forgot to take it out. Left it at the restaurant so couldn't try it. It was in a small box. Thai tea was refreshing. Loved the fresh coconut. Definitely coming back, there's a lot of dishes I'll like to try.

Came here from a recommendation of a coworker. I got the S01 w/ BBQ Pork Very very good, clean and light and topped it off with a Vietnamese coffee to carry through the rest of the work night. I would come again and will likely try their pho. The staff were very pleasant with happy energy.

This place has some amazing Pho!!! I've been craving a good Pho for the past few months! My husband and I decided to stop by Sidestreet Pho and Grill for lunch, around 11:00 A.M on a Saturday morning. Sidestreet Pho and Grill is located between Durango and Desert Inn Road. It's next to a few businesses such as Joy Burgers and Easy Life Boba. There is a spacious amount of parking spots available. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, a team member greeted us and walked us over to an open table near the window. There were only a few customers inside the restaurant at the time. Once we sat down, menus were provided. The interior is beautiful. The tables looked like they were of marble pattern. The bar area had some Buddha statues! We waited about 5 minutes and then one of the team members came over to our table to take our order. Chicken Pho (Large) ($17.00) Bahn Mi (Lemongrass Chicken) (Approx. $11.00) My Chicken Pho came out immediately!! I was in awe at how fast it was prepared! The beef broth with the chicken was so good! The chicken was tender and juicy! The chicken itself didn't have too much flavoring. The Broth was scrumptious, though! There were so many rice noodles in the large pho. My husband ended up finishing the meal for me! The Banh Mi came out about 10 minutes later. All of the ingredients were cooked fresh to order. The bread felt like it was just baked! The lemongrass chicken was tender and was packed with flavor! The Do Chua consisted of pickled carrots and daikon! There was also jalapeno, cilantro, cucumber, and mayo! My husband would order it again! Portions were large! The food was slightly expensive, but the food quality and quantity were totally worth it! I would stop by here again if I'm in the area and craving some Pho!

New management and thought to check it out! This location has been here for a while, so I'm used to the previous quality. The broth is very tasty yet very oily. Walked in and was immediately greeted. We were shown where to sit and began to order the usual. We ordered seafood pho, beef pho, coffee, egg rolls and fresh lime soda. Unfortunately the fresh lime soda was made with lemons and the black coffee my aunt ordered was Vietnamese coffee. Despite making it clear that she wanted a simple coffee, was told that she would receive just a black coffee, and was charged with a Vietnamese coffee. Both drinks were good. Just not what we ordered. When the side of bean sprouts and herbs arrived, we only got one lime for two orders of pho. Extra limes would have been nice! Overall, the food was good and the experience was fast and simple. A bit on the pricey side. So I recommend looking up the menu beforehand!

I cannot given enough praise to The Lakes for every experience we receive when we dine or pick up our meals. Whether you are eating in the restaurant itself or if going in later hours and eat at the bar, you will receive excellent service, excellent food and reasonable pricing for what you order. While I did enjoy the fish and chips, I now go and pick up "TheLakes burger" every time I choose The Lakes for a meal. Their burgers are cooked on a grill, with fresh, quality hamburger meat and cooked to your desired preference. The seasons they use on the fresh made patties is always spot on and you get that grilled taste that is just perfection. The burger is also never dry, so you really get all the flavor. Did i mention also that they are a half pound? The bun, which is a quality bread, is always flash grilled so it helps holdup to the burger and all its dressings. The lettuce, onions and tomato have been crisp and fresh every time I order it. Bacon is a good quality. The fries served as a side are some of the best steak fries I've had at a restaurant. If you prefer them saltier, you will have to add more salt to them although I prefer this due to it allows you to control how much salt you like on them. If you don't prefer steak fries, you can swap them out for regular fries or do what we do and upgrade to their onion rings. I'm not sure if they're battered there although I'm not worried because they always have a great crunch and taste amazing. I forgot to mention that on the fries, you can request Parmesan on them and although I'm not typically a fan of Parmesan l, they hit the spot. Service has always been above and beyond. Regardless of if dining in or just grabbing to eat at home, we are always treated warmly and professional. I would recommend if dining in to check their high volume times due to its a smaller seated restaurant but if you do have to wait, I highly recommend the wait. Between the great quality of service and food, it's a place that you have great options on food and the employees are personable. The Lakes will continue to be my new favorite local gem and I hope if you give them a try, you'll support them happily the way we do now.

But this place, I asked for medium rare, feeling like a medium that day, and it came out the most perfect rare I have ever had! The char on the outside of this obviously hand made patty, while still being heated through all the delicious pink inside! Oh man! I don't think I need to say much more. The wife had the chicken strips and fries, which she said were "perfectly portioned at three strips." Service was as good as any place should be. And prices weren't bad at all.

Everything was delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed every dish we tried. My husband's favorite was the burger--it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I especially loved the salmon, which was cooked beautifully, and the brown rice was surprisingly so flavorful. Paired with the avocado, it made for such a satisfying combination. My toddler's favorite was the fettuccine alfredo--she couldn't get enough of it! One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the chef-owner. He was incredibly kind, and you can truly tell how much care and love he puts into his food. That passion comes through in every dish, making the whole experience feel thoughtful and genuine. Whether you're meeting up with friends, enjoying a family meal, or simply looking for a delicious local spot, I highly recommend Salt & Spoon. We'll definitely be back!

We opted for a booth and ordered our food, I got the famous breakfast while my wife ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and we got 2 mimosas (pineapple and cranberry). Everything was exceptional, the skordalia dip that came with my breakfast were delicious, well seasoned, and the epi bread was fluffy and coated in crunchy sesame seeds. The hollandaise that came on the Benedict was perfect, not too salty, and it complimented the rest of the Benedict perfectly. After enjoying our food for a bit, a group sat next to us consisting of 2 women and 2 very young toddlers. I knew it was going to be bad by the way the toddler wandered around the few tables across the aisle, ultimately blocking our server from bringing us our food for a bit. The baby then began to scream its head off and did not stop as the ladies tried to quiet it down. I did not say anything to them as I know it is an embarrassing situation to be in to have a stranger critique your parenting style. We finished up the meal (the baby was still screaming at this point) and when our server noticed we had been giving each other That Look™, she came back and the first thing she said was "I'm so sorry about that," and offered to move us to the enclosed dining area to enjoy our dessert and escape the ruckus. The manager then offered us 2 more mimosas as an apology for being sat next to a loud table. Overall, the food was delicious, the was atmosphere nice, and the staff did a wonderful job controlling a situation without humiliating the guests who had caused it. One thing of note is that, as I'm sure this is meant to be a more casual dining experience, you should not be expecting super fast service. This is a place to enjoy the breeze and freshly prepared food, so there is more of a relaxed attitude. If you're into that and aren't in a rush to leave, I would absolutely recommend this cafe.

At one point I came back in to get to-go containers and was waiting patiently, and he was running food outside so I moved out of his way, held the door open. He didn't even acknowledge me, say thank you and gave me the rudest look. I was not impressed at all. That alone has me uninterested in ever going back. The meat was tender. The pastrami was good. I grew up eating KC BBQ and and lived in TX for several years and had plenty of TX BBQ- this to me is decent BBQ but if you know and like phenomenal BBQ this isn't going to compete with that. Read so many great reviews so I had really high expectations. Again, kudos to the pit master. The tenderness of the brisket, pastrami and beef rib was the saving grace. The woman who worked the counter taking orders was also one of the only reasons this isn't a 1 star review for me. She was a bit of sunshine in that place.

Then a friend told me they'd brought on a new pitmaster from Austin. That got my attention again. When I returned I met the pitmaster, Robert. He's friendly and went out of his way to make me feel welcome. The food this time blew me away. I've eaten at Interstellar in Austin plus Hurtado and Goldee's in Dallas/Fort Worth, and Wild Fig holds up to that standard. Vegas finally has the real thing. It's now in my regular rotation.

Drinks were never empty and he checked up on us frequently, the great service was very much appreciated! Now for the food, all the portion sizes were more than enough, presentation was great and flavor was amazing on every. Single. Item. We've found the unicorn of Mexican restaurants in the city. Go now, you won't be disappointed!! Listing of food enjoyed below: Burritos Enamorados-Two medium sized burritos with green sauce on one red on the other. Both sauces were bursting with flavor and worked really well together. Aguachiles- Shrimp was HUGE and soft to the chew, no hint of rubber in the shrimp. Great flavor but those serranos were SPI-CY. Be prepared for the heat and flavor, some of the best I've had in a long time. Shrimp Tacos- Stuffed to the brim with lightly fried shrimp that were once again huge and delicious. The slaw and the two sauces they put on top were the perfect compliment to each other. Chimichanga-Deep fried and delicious with avocado creama on top. Quesobirria Tacos- Stuffed to the BRIM with meat and cheese, the consommé on the side was flavorful without being overwhelming. Flan de Coco- I'm not a flan kind of girl but kid 1 and 2 are, they both said that it was the creamiest flan they've ever had, so take that for what you will. Overall, we will be back for more, no question.
