Amazing. My family and I were visiting Yosemite and stayed in Oakhurst. Craving for Chinese food for dinner, we placed an order of Broccoli beef, sweet and sour pork, walnut shrimp and beef fried rice. Placed an order for pick up, and everything was ready in 15 mins. They were nice over the phone, not rushed, and gives you a phone call if the orders are ready for pick up which we appreciated. The restaurant itself looks nice, and friendly upon walking in. The host was friendly too. We got our food and it was delicious. I didn't have a chance to grab pictures since we got back to the hotel and started eating. The beef and broccoli was evenly proportional and soft, easy to chew, there was enough beef to go around. It's usually a hit or miss when I order elsewhere, but this specific restaurant got it. The sweet and sour was crunchy and soft meat too. The shrimp I was a little skeptical because it looked buffed up, but my daughter finished it no problem. The first meal gone was the fried rice which was flavorful. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants a nice meal. Would definitely order again on our next visit. read more

The food here is really good. The service was great and what a great value. We will definitely be coming back. My husband had the sweet sour shrimp meal and it came with half fried rice half chowmein, hot and sour soup, fried wonton and fried egg roll. All fantastic. I had the beef broccoli which had melt in your mouth beef and perfectly cooked broccoli (not soggy and overcooked and definitely not undercooked and raw). Give this place a try. Honestly beat our expectations, pretty solid Chinese food, satisfied our cravings for Asian food after not having access to it for a while. Would recommend the fried rice and orange chicken! If you are visiting the Mariposa Grove area, this place is a great stop for lunch. I got the special plate with family style tofu. In hindsight I probably should've just ordered the entree and a side of rice instead of the special plate, but the family style tofu was good. Compared to Chinese restaurants in the LA/SGV area this does not compare, but considering it's basically in the middle of nowhere I enjoyed it. read more

I don't like giving bad reviews to small businesses but my experience at this place was horrible. Eva was extremely rude. We had questions about their menu and she seemed bothered everything we would ask her something. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and skip this place. I'm not sure how to reply to your comment, but you were pretty rude, when we were asking you about your spicy chicken and and when we asked you if you could just make a plate with fried rice and orange chicken. It's not what you said it's how you said it, or you could've explained better. If you're the business owner you definitely need to work on your customer service. The service is not good, we were not provided any water until we asked. And the reason we had to ask for water is because the food is too salty. The server, who is likely the owner, doesn't seem to treat people who speak Mandarin as well as those who speak English although it is a Chinese restaurant, I would be wrong on this. As a bay area native, I was definitely skeptical of dining here but since the fam was craving Asian food, we decided to give it a try. Fortunately China Delight exceeded our expectations! For our group of 6, we ordered kung pao chicken, braised tofu, string beans, salt and pepper fish and egg drop soup. Rice is charged at $3 per bowl. The salt and pepper fish was actually really good - nicely salted and not too much breading. Also came with a ton of really sweet onions. The rest of the dishes were fine, the chicken and tofu were overly saucy and string beans and soup felt lacking in substance but overall not bad for a random Chinese place in a small town. It was a full house by the time we left around 8pm! The waiters do speak Chinese as well. If you're craving Asian food on a Yosemite trip, I would recommend giving this a try! read more

Placed 2 to go orders after hiking in Yosemite. Ordered the 2 person special, which comes with 2 soups, crab rangoons, egg rolls, fried rice, and 2 entrees. We ordered the beef broccoli and the Mongolian beef. The portion size is huge!! We didn't finish our food. The beef broccoli is AMAZING. One of the best I've had. I would definitely recommend. The Mongolian beef was good but a little spicy. The next night, we ordered 2 large hot and sour soups. The portion is large & very good. There is parking right outside the restaurant. This a Cantonese family owned restaurant that seemed very busy on the weekend. We stayed in Oakhurst to go visit Yosemite and we were craving something warm and homemade. We noticed a Chinese restaurant right up the street from a hotel and we decided to give it a try. There was tons of parking, but we got there and the lady who helped us out was very kind. We ordered food and it was just so delicious and so authentic we wish we could've ordered another plate to go. I highly recommend this place specially if you've had a long day of either traveling or from visiting Yosemite. The portions were very generous, and I also believe that the pricing Was very reasonable. Haven't tried Chinese food this good in a long time. There is nothing 'delightful' about the food. All the dishes were cooked in the same sauce - the beef, shrimp and tofu. They all had the same taste - and it was confirmed when I found a shrimp in the tofu dish. The soup was indescribably bad, and the appetizers tasted like they were fried in week-old oil. Even on a clear and beautiful day like today - plus some 'free' cookies for the birthday boy, I couldn't give this restaurant more than 2 stars. ** On a side note, the person who answered the phone was pleasant and friendly. (Almost) every time we've ordered food to pick up here it has been delicious. The same nice lady answers the phone and takes our order, and knows exactly which order is ours when she sees me coming in the door. The service is fast here so almost always they'll say 15 minutes once you call your order in. The ladies bathroom is CLEAN, smells nice **shocker right?** and is a rad color of bright lavender. We usually get the Family meal plan A for three. Good deal for sure. Just wish it was a full order of egg rolls and a full order of the crab rangoon instead of one piece per adult. Still a good deal! My only reason for the 4 stars instead of five is that there have been random times when the fried breaded chicken (like sweat n sour chicken) was hard and gristly to chew on. I was not expecting it from this place because all the times before it was fresh, soft white meat chicken that was really good. So, I don't know if it was recooked from the day before or if they had a different cook that night, but it has been rare that this ever happened. read more
