Best Chinese food around with the biggest portions and honestly some of the friendliest owners I've met. Really...they have huge portions. I know we've all been burned at least once when ordering Chinese and getting some tiny carton filled with baby corn and water chestnuts and five pieces of protein. But this place packs the dish full of your chosen meat and the prices are very fair. I recently tried sushi here and was pleasantly surprised. It's no Bistro Wasabi but for the price it's very good. I especially like their spicy salmon roll. Their spicy salmon is not a paste. It consists of actual chunks of salmon in a sauce that is actually spicy. Their crab rangoon is the absolute best. They also offer Thai and Korean dishes. I'm pretty familiar with Korean food and theirs isn't that great (probably because the kimchi they cook with has not been fermented enough) but their Thai food is pretty good. This place is terrible it's constantly changing the food the menu and the immage delivery is inconsistent food portions are despicably small the lunch specials quality and portions have went down also never get it with the fried rice it's terrible the sodas are somehow always wrong or flat never enough sauces in the bag and as I've said before you can order one dish one day and it's good then order it again weeks later it's completely different I can't stress how overpriced they are for portions the sad thing is their the best Chinese food in the area everywhere is terrible but this place is a special kind of inconsistent and has poor customer service also the prices online aren't always the same prices you pay the online ordering has slowly improved but is still poor over all id rather set my money on fire then ever go back here again the only reason I use them at this point is they are the only place that delivers just save your money up and go to Kyoto in Crystal lake you'll thank me read more

We ordered dinner from here the other evening for delivery. We usually order from another place because they have sesame beef, but they were closed. So, on to China Dragon. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, sesame chicken, crab rangoons, and egg rolls. I thought everything was really good. The shrimp fried rice is packed with tons of little shrimps. Everything came hot, and the price is comparable to other Chinese restaurants in the area. I have never been to the actual location, but the delivery service is good! read more

I ordered Yu Shan beef and made sure the lady heard me right about my food being extra spicy. Second visit just as good. We love the potstickers and Mongolian beef. The beef is delicious, tender not rubbery. Sesame chicken is really good. Pretty much everything we've tried so far has been really good. The decor is kinda funny and they play Lady Gaga on repeat but aside from that this place is solid. I highly recommend China Dragon 1. The owners, Yin and Felix, are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They genuinely care about the quality and taste of their food. The food is fresh and delicious, with very generous serving sizes. We love their Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, orange chicken, pad Thai, egg rolls, chicken fried rice, and smoothies. I can't comment on the sushi because I am not a sushi eater. My family orders from here usually once a week and have never had a bad experience. Three strikes and you're out. They don't seem to take allergies seriously here . The first time here I made sure to tell them that I have a high sensitivity to MSG and I have respiratory problems as well as bad headaches. Also I told them that's my son had a peanut allergy and to make sure that they do not cook the shrimp fried rice in the same pan as the pad Thai which has peanuts. Well not only did I have horrible breathing problems and a horrible migraine after eating their food but my son had a serious allergic reaction. I suppose I should have stopped there but they had promised to give me a discount if I came back and I did and even though I told him about the MSG problem they did it again because I had the exact same symptoms after eating their food. While they give you good portions here , it's just not worth getting sick over. Also the food is very dry and the fried rice that comes with combos very bland , just soy sauce and rice .There are other Chinese restaurants that are better tasting and that respects your preferences and your serious allergies read more

I'm opened minded so I'll try a couple more dishes before I run. Ordered from here for first time last nite. Tried "Happy Family." Claims there's beef, chicken, crab meat, shrimp & scallops. I expected a few pieces of each. Clearly there was shrimp and beef. The scary part was the surimi-type, finger-shaped pieces that tasted & had texture of pasta & literally looked like fingers, with one side red. Disgusting! I'm guessing those were supposed to be crab? The same pieces cut into chunks I'm guessing we're supposed to be scallops? I don't mind surimi IF I'm told that's what's I'm buying but this didn't taste like any kind of seafood & it was preformed into 2" logs. My husband just shook his head. The actual taste of this dish was acceptable, just be honest with what is being sold and have a reasonable facsimile of crab & scallops. Clearly I would never order this again or any seafood-containing dish from here except shrimp. read more

i went to this restautant one time.. the foods are delicious...the price are not expensive...good price...
