Upon returning to Orlando on a road trip, I called ahead for pick up. The timing of 45 minutes before arriving to the restaurant proved to be suitable. Everything was ready by then. I haven't dined in, but they have made some modifications to the dining area and it is inviting. My Singapore Mei Fun was a huge portion and very tasty. The spice was nice. I thought the Krab Rangoon looked a little overdone, but it tasted fine. The Boneless Spare Ribs didn't hit the same as they have in the past. Just didn't think they were as good this time. Unless you're getting the wings, don't bother with this place. The food sucked. I was going to post photos of the menu, but I can't do that to y'all. I got the lunch special with wings and spicy crispy beef. The beef was lousy. It was overcooked to the point of jerky. And that was a shame because the sauce it was in tasted great. It went well with the egg roll. The rice had zero flavor. I had to add a lot of dark soy sauce to make it edible. I didn't even bother with the leftovers. And for me that's saying something. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant for delivery. Delivery is always on schedule. I've ordered several times. Food is good and economical. The large Wonton Soup is my favorite. I also ordered a half a gallon of the Special Fried Rice. This is a very generous portion for a family. Four of us ate and still had left overs. For protein I ordered a large Orange Chicken. China Brothers Restaurant has been in business for several years now and my biggest complaint of them is their inconsistency. Not like an off night inconsistency, but that it can go from decent to absolute hideous at any given time and there is no in-between. Have you ever seen the "Seinfeld" episode where Jerry meets the girl and her looks change on the lighting? Think something like that, just at a far harsher extreme. Chinese food around here has kind if been in a decline and it would be great to find a place where I know that I can find good Chinese food and that it remains consistent. Unfortunately, this place appears that it won't be a solution to my dilemma and become my go-to New York style takeout type Chinese food. As for a few plus points, it is in a nice strip center located next to the strip plaza that has the Publix on Dean Road. It is also next to the Wendy's. There is plenty of parking. However, the food just does not warrant me driving over here (it is maybe a ten to fifteen minute drive from my house). I guess I will give it a three star () rating. I was surprised to see the rating for this place given that I've always had good experiences here. I went here today and the food came out really quickly and the cashier is always nice when I come. The dinner combo is great, they are very generous with their portions and it's only $12 for a protein, noodles, egg roll, & soup. I would also like to note that they were really accommodating about replacing items for example they let me change the type of soup I wanted and my friend was able to sub out the soup for a soda instead. Also they reopened their dining room! It's been closed for a long time for covid so that was awesome to see. It was also very clean, which is something I always appreciate. read more

Best crab rangoon in area! Garlic spicy chicken is awesome as is their egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. Orange chicken also great here. Nice portions. Egg rolls are good here also. The wait was 20-25 minutes, but I was not told until after I placed the order. 35 minutes later I got my order to go. I ordered vegetable fried rice and two orders of chicken wings (6 each). The rice rice had no flavor at all (no salt, no seasoning). Instead of 6 chicken wings on each order, I got five pieces (not 6): I got 3 chicken wings and 2 legs. I called and told them. I spoke to two different people, female and male. Both told me they would tell the Manager. The Manager never called to apologize or anything.Totally unacceptable. This is our favorite Chinese takeout spot at work. We literally get 10-20 people ordering for lunch every couple of weeks. So it must be good! I've had quite a few things off of the lunch menu so far. Everything has been very good. And their spicy dishes are actually a bit spicy. Still needs some hot sauce if you really want spicy but at least they have flavor and some heat. I especially like the fried rice which feels very fresh. One downside is the hot and sour soup. It has the right taste but it's mostly broth and not much substance. Egg rolls are good. Spring rolls lose their crunch though once you get them home. This is an A+ takeout joint. For take out this place isn't too bad, it's actually pretty delicious! I ordered two egg rolls, beef & broccoli, General Tso chicken and pork fried rice, none of the meals were combinations and it came out to about $30 and fed 3 people. The process to order was easy, I called, they answered, it was a 2 min process and they said it would be done in 10 mins and when I got there it was ready! Brought the food home, temp was perfect, took some pics and enjoyed my meal. The only downfall is that the general Tso chicken isn't as spicy as I'd like it, I actually don't recall any little red chili's in it either, but overall food was good, I'd visit again and reorder. read more

Got this menu on my door so decided to give this place a try. Despite the low ratings and bad reviews this place got I decided to try it out and it's not as bad as people say it is. Friendly staff over the phone, order took longer than they said it would be but not a big deal at all. When the food got here it was nice and hot. I got the steamed dumplings, dumplings were pretty good I've had better. Ordered the fried chicken wings they were ok I've had way better. Also ordered the Beef lo mein and this was good I added some soy sauce and duck sauce makes it even better but It didn't really need it so much. I also ordered one of my favorite Chinese dishes, this is very rare in Orlando but this place has it and that's the only reason why it got three stars because they have this dish which is called beef chow fun. I've never been to the restaurant but have ordered from them several times through UberEATS. I love that they offer smaller portions for most of their dinner options, and you can choose other sides to go in your box (i.e. Steamed mixed vegetables, veg/chicken lo mein), in addition to the usual pork fried rice or steamed white rice options. The amount and quality of food has been impressive to me. They offer some pan-Asian items like Udon noodles with Katsu chicken in a chicken broth, and a few udon-noodle stir fries. I've also had their bulgogi beef -it's not much like authentic Korean bulgogi, but I liked the flavor anyway, and it's nice to have options. This place has some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. The portions are large enough to feed the hungriest person. The beef was melt in you mouth good.
