Been going here for years since I was a high schooler. Best place in the neighborhood for good food. Personal favorite is the sweet and sour chicken or boneless chicken. It may not look like much from outside but don't judge a book by its cover. Also the workers are a real family which is a nice touch and are always very nice. 5 stars for food and vibes

chicken and rice in a styrofoam container

The young man in the front is absolutely generous and cares for his customers. However, food is disgusting and delivery guy is very rude. Tipped him $4 dollars just to walk 400 feet and my meal is $6, I was a few buildings over on the same block. And he's demanding for more, thought he was kidding till he just stayed at my front door. I honestly do not know how does this place have a 3.5 star rating. Food is cheap and affordable but it's not even decent food or service.

This was my second time ordering food from here. First time I had lunch special sesame chicken, which was ok, nothing special but not bad. So I gave it another try here only because it's very close to where I live. Ordered Singapore mei fun and bbq rib tips with chicken fried rice. Singapore mei fun had no taste other than curry, which was not balanced. Bbq Rib tips were soooo greasy and some were super hard from over frying. And the rice was the worst fried rice I've ever had. Very bland and chicken in the rice tasted old. I don't think I will order from here again.. wasted my money.

General Tso's chicken combo w. Pork fried rice and beef with mixed vegetables combo w vegetable fried rice.

Great Chinese take out. Wish their ribs were better proportioned, but food and service is still great.

One of the best take-out/delivery Chinese restaurants that I've been too. I wish we had one of these around our house.

When we came on a Saturday night, it was packed but we didn't mind waiting a bit with the fun k-pop music playing. Once we entered, we quickly just grabbed a bowl and created our own malaxiangguo at the food station. They have a good variety of vegetables and other additions. They weighed it by the pound and we were able to share the perfect amount for three people. My favorite dish was the beef skewers. It reminded me of the exact tastes of the cart skewers and they were $2 each. Definitely would come back again when I'm craving some skewers and spicy food!

Went to Rahongbu Malatang for some dry pot on a weeknight for dinner. It's in the same restaurant…read moreas Hong Chun Cheon, which serves dakgalbi. The dry pot here is similar to others, where you serve yourself from a raw bar, the ingredients are weighed, and they cook it for you to the spice level of your liking. I don't like that noodles are charged separately from the weight of the other ingredients (vegetables, fish cakes, meat, etc.) Because of this, i almost opted to order one of the dakgalbi dishes on the menu for Hong Chun Cheon. However, the prices listed on the menu are for one serving. When i tried to order, the lady at the counter explained I had to order two order minimum. So the real price for one order of cheese dakgalbi is $51.90, not $25.95. This was annoying because I was the only person who wanted dakgalbi, which mean i ended up not getting it. I did get my dry pot though. They make it spicy just like everyone else. At about $16 per pound with separate charges for noodles, it's slightly more expensive than other dry pot restaurants in the area. I eventually wanna come back for the dakgalbi, but I'm gonna need to make sure i have a partner beforehand.

I have easily finished two trays myself in one sitting. The fried rice dishes are a nice surprise too. They are not greasy and not overly salty, which I really appreciate. The dishes we have liked and order on repeat are the spring rolls, soup dumplings ofc, veg gyoza, the mapo tofu, any of the fried rices, the veg udon (except for once), the beef with green beans, kung pao chicken. Misses: the pork udon or pork fried rice, the eggplant dish, stir fry baby shrimp (we didnt see the picture), the chicken peanuts, the orange chicken, sesame chicken, and a few others. The chicken usually is hit or miss in terms of texture and flavor unfortunately. Either it is dry and overcooked or it is missing in flavor.

The dining room was empty when we rocked up on a weekday late afternoon, and it was nice to sit at a table by the window for a street view. The staff was quick and efficient, and we got a super heavy tea pot of hot barley tea in no time. Food came out without delay. I love how theirs comes with loads of veggies, even as I question the use of green beans which is a first for me (to see them in sweet and sour pork). And while it was distracting and would rather have the dish without the beans, the star of the fish, the pork, was just right and we gobbled it up. I hope they stay open for a long time.
