Wife picked up some dinner and made the 45 minute drive home and unfortunately the teriyaki chicken had no sauce on it and no sauce in the bag. So we're left with a large order of teriyaki chicken that has no seasoning on it or sauce for just a large order of flavorless chicken. Called them and there solution was they will give me 2 sauces next time I order not sure how that helps for today lol. Opted for this instead of panda for lunch today and I'm so glad I did. The food was hot and fresh made to order, not sitting in a tub on a warmer! I had the lunch special and and order of pot stickers. The portion was way more than I would have got across the street and instead of the advertised amount of 6 potstickers there were 10!! We just recently moved to Temecula and China One is the only restaurant that has been consistently good. From the noodle dishes, to the veggie dishes, to the rice dishes. All pretty yummy. We always order out and have never had issues. Definitely reccomend. read more

If I can only not give a star, I would not!! I ordered lunch special just now, called the order in to their phone, and when I got the food delivered, my bill for 3 people was $68. I called the number to question the charge on my card, and this girl who could not understand I ordered over the phone, kept on telling me I placed my order online!!! I told her a million times that I spoke with someone and she could not/would not accept it! Instead of apologizing and owning up to it- she made it appear that it was our mistake! Used to order here but stopped and for whatever reason, I decided to give it another shot. Pretty glad I did. The fried rice was cooked and seasoned well. Whoever is cooking, don't let them go. This restaurant has had some bad chefs in the past but the situation seems to be in control now. Chicken fried rice was perfect! Hot garlic sauce chicken was amazing. All done well and prices are good. Can't do five stars until I come back and see that the quality stays the same. Earned another visit from this guy... Update: It's back down. Went back for my usual. Chicken fried rice and a noodle dish. No flavor. Looked the same as usual but no flavor or seasoning. Bland. I honestly couldn't finish it. Large portions. My only gripe was that they see you and go right to a group conversation in Chinese. You can tell they were all quiet until we got there. That was super annoying actually. I order my family two orders of the same noodle dish every time we order. I was so disappointed. I got he ordered and there was way less noodles. One of my kids didn't get to eat. Then I went to order another order of noodles but they have a minimum order to get it delivered so I had to order another one so I could meet the minimum for delivery. I'm tired of all these business cutting what I pay for but charging the same or more. The kids love this food. I have food allergies so I don't eat there. Don't go down hill by shorting your customers. I would recommend but I can't because I'm unsure if your going to get your money's worth. Okay, I know its only been a month since my initial 3 star review. I posted that I WOULD eat here again and we did. We returned for dinner, this time with my son and his lovely wife. We were seated right away and drink orders made. We may have overdid it, but we ended up ordering the following items, turning dinner into a smorgasbord (straight off their posted menu): Appetizers: 4. Fried Wontons 2. Crab Rangoons 1. Vegetable Egg Rolls 11. Corn Egg Drop Soup Entrees: C12. Salt and Pepper Squid 72. House Chow Mein 28. Sesame Beef 56. Curry Chicken 22. String Bean with Black Bean Sauce All of the appetizers were tasty, including the soup! I thoroughly enjoyed the squid, beef and string bean dishes; all of which were very flavorful. I am not a curry fan, so did not even taste it, but was given the two thumbs up vote of approval. The chow mein, to me was bland, but the wife really liked it. All the food items came out freshly prepared and hot. My only complaint is that they do not cook the red peppers into the dish (salt & pepper squid this time and kung pao on previous occasions). I like my red peppers to be soft, but the ones here are always firm as if they toss them in last minute. You don't get the "heat" from them in the dish unless you bite a piece off. But who likes biting into a hard dried chili pepper? Oh well, you can't always get what you want I suppose. The service was exceptional this time around. Not that it was bad any of the other times we have eaten here. Our waitress was quite amicable and attentive, having refreshed our drinks at least twice while we ate; and clearing plates as they became empty. After this visit I have to raise my 3 star rating to 4 stars - "I'm a fan". I'll reevaluate down the road of course. Maybe we scored on getting the right cook and server. Time will tell... read more

Fast, Fresh and Good. Service is good the restaurant is clean and a manager is always on site. They have a pretty good lunch crowd and that's because it's so inexpensive and good. But overall the restaurant was clean service was good and I come back and I'd highly recommend it if you're on a budget like I am. read more

A bit disturbed by the delivery guy that just came. We don't tip on delivery or take out and he asked me to tip him. Figured maybe he is going through a rough time but still not okay to do so i tipped and he just stood outside our door after i came in looking like he was waiting for more. Due to the discomfort. We will not be ordering from them again and i will be watching our accounts to make sure he doesn't add on more. Ridiculous. Add on: *I also got very sick from eating here. Husband was fine but the kids and I weren't. Think it was the shrimp in the house rice. And no it is NOT customary to tip delivery. They charge a delivery fee and most places pay for gas for their deliveries. I waited tables, hosted restaurants and was a delivery girl through college and never expected anything from delivery. I live in Temecula and the only other close Chinese food places we have are Panda Express and Pick Up Stix. I was glad that my family had discovered this place because I hate going to those 2 places! The inside is super clean! They usually aren't that busy so we easily find a place to sit. They are fast and efficient - always asking if we need anything. Service is great and super fast!! Ordered as soon as we decided and got our food in less than 10 minutes, which is great considering it is freshly made to order. The portions were big! I ordered the lunch special - orange chicken. It came with fried rice and some noodles. As for the drinks, I usually get thai tea with boba and its pretty good for a place that doesn't specialize in boba drinks! We've gotten take out here a couple times too and will continue because this is now our local go-to chinese take out, much better than Panda or Pick Up Stix!! read more

Ordered dinner here pretty often. A few days ago we ordered and one of the item was soup. I was chewing and bit on something hard. Upon inspection I found a metallic piece that looks like a piece of the sheet metal all curled up. Maybe it was from a cleaning equipment or something but what a horrible thing to find. We used to order from this restaurant quite often. I've not ordered much since my husband passed away but decided to try it this evening. We have 2 very noisy dogs who react to the doorbell or knocking on the door. I placed my order online but since delivery people don't always get, or perhaps read, delivery instructions, I called the restaurant to ask that the driver not ring the doorbell or knock and that the pkg just be left on the tray next to the front door. I was assured that that would be no problem. When the driver arrived, he rang the doorbell to ask if the tray next to the door was where I wanted the food left!!!! Now to the food.
