Freshly made food, decent portions and affordable prices. I spend $13 for a fountain drink + a lunch combo. Can't beat that price. The customer service was great and they came by to give me soda refills. The food was really tasty. I want to say it's one of the best fast Chinese places i had in years. I have been a frequent flyer of China One in Temecula for many years. I always like the flavors of their food. I went back to China One for lunch two days ago and noticed that the entire staff had changed. I presume they are under new management / ownership. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, the general chicken. It tasted the same and I enjoyed the flavors. However, on my way home, my stomach became very upset. I barely made it home and on to the toilet before having explosive diarrhea! This continued for several hours with an upset stomach! I thought it may be a coincidence and after taking several doses of Pepto-Bismol and getting a good night's sleep I woke up feeling okay. However, I ate the leftover general chicken today for lunch. Once again... EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA! Now I know for certain it was NOTa coincidence that got me sick but the food at China One! I will never eat there again! So, if you want some Campylobacter bacteria; Salmonella and Clostridium perfringens bacteria served up with your chicken, by all means, eat at China One! You will surely loose 5 pounds! read more

I really hate to give mediocre reviews. My wife and I had food deliver from China One tonight. I had the orange chicken which was good. My wife had the sesame beef which was undercooked. The problem was they did not include utensils! That's kind of a problem trying to eat chow mein or fried rice! We ended up using toothpicks to eat the chicken and beef. I drove 15min home to 4 other hungry mouths, and discovered William had given me wrong order. Disgusted, I drove back 15min. William gave me excuses about giving me incorrect order and he further tried to remedy the situation by asking me to keep the wrong order, I agreed due to the hungry family members waiting at home, and give me only 1 of my original 3 item that I ordered, he took the bag with the wrong order to place my 1 item inside the bag. I normally love China One but today I ordered my regular meal and asked for no veggies except green onions and snow peas. I order it this way every time. But today it came FILLED with white onions. I don't mind them except that it took up all the space and there was only 4 small pieces of chicken. We have been coming here for years and today I Ordered Meal B for pickup. There was nothing right with any of the meals ordered including the soup. We will never eat here again. The egg rolls were soggy, and barely anything inside of them. The shrimp in the house fried rice was way too salty and undercooked. The broccoli was hardly cooked, and the chicken should have been cooked longer. The spicy beef had more peppers than beef. The Wonton Soup consisted of large celery ends, no meat, and four wontons. The fried shrimp appetizer was undercooked. It is very sad as we used to like this place, this was strike two for our family we will not be returning. I packed up all the food and took it back. The sesame chicken we tried on Christmas Day was new to us and very delicious. The wonton soup was also especially tasty. The food can be salty, which is not strange for Chinese take out.
