Tucked in a humble plaza right near Kaiser Riverside, this Chinese spot delivers the goods. It's that kind of old-school steam table setup where you know what you're getting: big portions, bold flavors, and no frills--just straight-up satisfaction. Walked in on a hot day, craving comfort food, and walked out with a loaded combo plate that could easily be two meals. I went with fried rice, spicy orange chicken (yes please), and beef with mushrooms--and let me tell you, that beef was mushroom madness in the best way. Tender, juicy, and soaked up all the savory sauce. The spicy orange chicken had a real kick--crispy, sticky, and addictive. And the rice? Classic takeout style with egg, peas, and just enough oil to hit the spot. The staff is friendly, the prices are right, and the portions? Generous enough to keep you full through a double shift. Great little lunch escape if you're nearby--I'll definitely be back. Just don't come on a Monday... they're closed!

NAAAAASTY!! With all caps!! Just yuk!! I ordered spicy orange chicken, noodles, rice, broccoli beef & egg roll. The best part was the food was hot and fresh, not the egg roll. And that didn't taste bad! But the noodles and orange chicken just NO!! What happen to all the good Chinese spots?? I'm so tired of taking Ls! The sweet and sour taste like ketchup! I paid $16 for all plus I seen on my statement they charge $3tm fee!! On top of the $1 or so charge for using a card!! So damn greedy!! That made me even more mad I wasted money on the food. Idk how ppl can say this mess is good! Ppl literally just eat anything. Save your money! My kids wouldn't even eat it!

If I could give this place more than 5 Stars I would. Love this place. Only Chinese place that doesn't make us sick. So good. Great portions. Service is great. Not too far from freeway so easy to drive by pick up and take it home. Dine in available (7pm dine cut off).

The go to menu item is the house special fried chicken. My mom used to work across the street at Kaiser and would tell me about this place. Her co workers would usually come here and get the house special chicken for their potlucks. Growing up my mom would also get it for parties and I loved it. Fast forward to the present and I was hosting for my sons birthday party and stumbled on this place again. The pictures I attached was $15 and included the sauce and rice. By it self it was so delicious. The catering prices I believe was $50-60 for the half try and $110 for the large one. I ended up picking the large tray and it was a party hit. Everyone kept asking where did I get it. Too bad I didn't share. Just kidding. Anyways if you want a party favorite try their house special chicken. I'm sure you'll love it!

Chinatown is my spot. I tried it because P express prices and portions were getting out of hand. Food here is better and more of a hot and ready selection than PE. Service is always fast. The young ladies in front are super nice and friendly. The Auntie is nice too. They give a plentiful portion for a great price. Tangerine chicken, teriyaki chicken, beef with mushroom, kung pao are among my favorites. I go once a week at least. The person who left 1 star and the pic of chiles, I bet there was a bunch of chicken mixed in with that. Never had a problem. Always clean inside and behind counter.

This place is not the same as before. I don't know if it's a different owner now but I order a bowl of chow main and spicy orange chicken. I got a bowl of chow main and red chili peppers. So disappointing. PS: I've NEVER written a yelp review and that should tell you everything.

The food is always hot and consistently delicious. My family and I have been coming here for over a decade. Service is quick and accurate. Family owned so I see the same faces when we choose this place for a meal. The ambiance is a quick spot to eat. Usually busy with a hospital and county office across the street and other local businesses. They have a booth and a TV if you decide to eat in.

Food was delicious and portions are generous. Customer service was kind, friendly, nice and their team was very attentive. Ample seating, spacious and quiet. Mostly every customer was ordering to go.

Big Sky was my **go-to Chinese food spot in Riverside** for years. **Then tonight happened.** I placed a DoorDash pickup order at their new location -- sweet and sour pork, beef chow fun, beef porridge, pork and shrimp siu mai, and white rice. They even threw in extra rice, and I was genuinely excited to dig in. That excitement ended the moment I looked down at my bowl and found a **MAGGOT sitting on top of my rice.** I called the restaurant immediately and calmly explained what happened. They told me to contact DoorDash since that's how I ordered. Fine. I reported it through DoorDash's platform and waited. Then I got a call back from DoorDash -- not to help me, but to relay a message: **Big Sky had contacted them specifically to refuse my refund.** Let that sink in. A customer found a maggot in their food, couldn't eat a single bite of a $54.19 order, and the restaurant's response was to **actively call DoorDash to make sure I didn't get my money back.** I understand that occasionally bugs happen in food service. It's gross, but I was fully prepared to move on had they simply taken responsibility. Instead, they chose to fight a $54 refund over a maggot. That tells you everything you need to know about how this restaurant values its customers. **Eat here at your own risk -- and if something's wrong, you're on your own.**

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. The people working there were really welcoming and kind, and it felt like a family-run restaurant, which made the experience feel even more comforting and homey.

Don't expect refills or conversations about the day or the meaning of life. Bathroom: clean. Toilet and a urinal. Food: Before my main course arrived, I was served a small cup of egg drop soup and some crispy noodles with some type of sweet dipping sauce. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Typical orange chicken or Kung Pao chicken w rice or chow mein. Not my thing.

We usually end up driving out to Rowland Heights for Chinese food, so having something like this down the street in Corona is nice. The pan fried shao mai was probably the surprise favorite for me since I've never had it prepared that way before. The xiao long bao wrapper was a little thicker than what I'm used to, but it was still good. Honestly, nothing we ordered disappointed. It was not too loud in there and the place was relatively empty so that was nice. Biggest disappointment was service, because our table ordered chow mein and the waiter brought us chow fun (flat noodles with gravy). When we told him that we ordered chow mein, he told us that what we ordered was chow fun, so I showed him what we ordered on the menu and he said "you wanted lo mein". While I get that, he spent a minute trying to figure out where the item was and couldn't find it. I reviewed pics on here and it seems like other people got the thick yellow noodles for chow mein. Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun. Also, there is a section of the menu labeled chow mein and a separate page labeled chow fun. I think I know what we ordered. Disappointing.
