We did end up getting seated at the tall tables; however, we had a two year old with us...a bit inconvenient but no issue since the baby was able to still sit and eat. I'm sure they do have accommodations for young children if told earlier (we didn't let them know about the 2 year old so not their fault). Food came out quickly. We ordered one of each different XLB, chicken katsu, wonton with chili sauce, scallion pancake, noodles with scallion oil sauce, beef rolls. Everything tasted delicious. My favorite was the seven grams XLB which I believe is pork. Scallion pancake was so crispy!! One note is that the wonton with chili sauce was more sweet to me than spicy; still good though! I also ordered a osmanthus oolong tea (this is just hot water with a tea packet, but nice. i was able to take it to go too). Overall, I'm glad my family last minute decided to go to restaurant for dinner. Definitely recommend. Service, food, and vibes were all great. Our total came out to be around 110 including tip!!

The scallion pancake was a little thinner than I'd like, not a ton of scallion flavor. But we especially liked the XLB - juicy and full of meat! The cucumber salad was light and refreshing and the chili sauce wontons were tender and tangy. Great lunch spot - would love to try something from the drink menu the next time I'm back! :)

The prices were a little bit more expensive than I would have preferred but they do give generous servings. We ordered stir fried string beans, orange chicken, crispy beef, and salt and pepper fish filet. My least favorite was the crispy beef, mostly because it didn't even taste like I was eating much. I probably should have gotten a different beef dish, otherwise everything else was pretty good. They have a robot delivering food to the tables. They do have someone at the front desk area if you have any questions or need hot water for teas.

They have other basic items like Chinese zhajiangmein (perfect for kiddos) and lots of other noodle dishes. Good value too. 139 beef wrap - 3/5 - This is the chinese pancake surrounding overcooked beef that you can get anywhere. Thankfully they didn't use too much cilantro like other places. It was dry. I would not order it again. Needs a sauce too. The vinegar from the table wasn't helping. 137 1000layer pancake - 3/5 This was made fresh and it's puffy! ---probably exactly what it's supposed to be. It, too, needs a special sauce. There just is no flavor by itself. Plus, I only counted 900 layers. Just kidding. I would skip next time. The service here is great. Food comes out fast.

So i kinda ordered this last minute tonight... literally, like i placed my order online and they closed like 5 minutes after (i know I'm a horrible person) , however it did not deter them from delivering my food. I've ordered from here before and never been disappointed, but tonight they out did themselves, i figured a review of adequate proportions was in order. The food was so piping hot I burnt my tongue haha, and oh so delicious. Tonight I got the kung pao chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was so good man, it tasted fresher than the fresh prince and lemme tell ya, he fresh. Most importantly it was not overpowered with soy sauce, it almost made me forget i ordered chinese cause my roommate ate my leftover pizza and had munchies while doing homework... Previously I've had: garlic beef kung pao beef egg flower soup Veggie egg rolls. I think chicken is the way to go here, their kung pao beef is good, but I like the chicken's natural tenderness more. The veggie egg rolls are regular, not great, not bad, little thin, they look like they come frozen but not disappointing at all. They come with that generic bright ready dipping sauce thats too sweet for my taste but some of you weirdos love. I wish their garlic beef had more of a "garlic" flavor but it's still pretty good The egg flower soup is really good, although I could do without the gigantic slices of mushroom that sink to the bottom and beg you to put them out of their delicious misery, (but i just picked them out and told them to shut up i was busy) luckily the broth doesn't have that stank egg smell the cheap chinese joints tend to have. This is one of few places with low delivery fees ($2), sorta great food, somewhat decent prices, and a low order minimum. You can't go wrong. read more

BAD SERVICE - BAD MANAGEMENT - NOT FRIENDLY DID NOT GET FOOD - CHINESE DELIVERY BOY WAS LOST. I ordered food here for dinner after seeing this 4 star review on yelp. ONLY TO BE DISAPPOINTED. I live in IRVINE, 5 miles away, it was raining so I had my food Delivered to me, paying a $5 Delivery Fee. I ordered 3 entree's on the chicken menu, Mushroom chicken, vegetable chicken, and sha cha chicken. with two Fried Rice which cost $1 extra per order. I gave my address, and the Chinese lady that took my order said the food will be there approximately 40 minutes. HORRIBLE experience, 40 minutes has gone by, I called the restaurant, the lady told me that the delivery guy is on his way and he will be there soon. So I waited, it has now been 60 MINUTES!! One HOUR, and I have no received my food. 60 Minutes has gone by, I received a call from the Chinese Delivery guy that was RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERY MY FOOD. He called and said he COULD NOT FIND my HOUSE!!! Ridiculous, I gave him specific address, and directions where he could INPUT into GOOGLE Maps, or iPHONE MAPS. He could barely speak any English, It was so hard for me to instruct him to get to my house because he would kept speaking to me in broken English and not understand how to get to my house. Horrible management for even hiring an illegal Chinese immigrant to work for them. To make things short, He couldnt find my house, it has been 1 hour and 30 minutes. So I DID NOT got my food. and they refunded me my money. THAT WAS a horrible experience. I literally STARVED FOR 1 hour and 30 minutes due to this poor quality delivery service personnel. SERVICE HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAINS - POOR QUALITY compared to when it was Open YEARS ago. The delivery service here is horrible. If you tip a low amount like $1,2,3,4,5 and is not worth their time, they will put you on the LAST priority to have your food delivered, and you've already PAID for the delivery service too. They are all about PROFIT, GREED, they do not care about how soon customers get their food. I witness my food being order left their just to be delivered an hour later because I lived far away in Anaheim, paid $6 delivery fee with a $2 tip... Recently, they CUT DOWN PORTIONS. HIGHER PRICE, SMALL PORTIONS. Their LUNCH special is no longer SPECIAL. Used to come in a White Container that was double of their current lunch tray. The current one is a black plastic that is similar to a TV Dinner Tray, very small about 30% Less Food. The Chinese Delivery guys here are disgusting, sometimes when I order food i notice these guys dress very dirty, in sweats and in jogger pants, most time these chinese delivery guys look like they do not even shower, their hair is so OILY, just plain disgusting. They used to have a DRESS CODE, - Pants with their Company Red Shirt. But NOWADAYS, they just dress like they just woke up from their beds. UnWashed JOgger pants and worned down T-Shirts. I really wanted some Chinese takeout on this beautiful rainy day. Unfortunately I didn't find it. I had the Mongolian beef, veggie egg rolls, veggie chow mein, cream cheese wontons, and a piece of the chocolate cake. Mongolian beef-so salty I took one bite and spit it out! I love salt I mean literally always put salt on everything. Didn't put any on this and it was horrible! Egg rolls-good flavor but so rubbery it was like eating stale Doritos. Chow mein-was gummy. Not the good Chinese noodle gummy. But gummy sticks to the roof of your mouth gummy. Wontons-again great flavor but same rubbery stale consistency. The chocolate cake was good for store bought previously frozen. And honestly? How do you make rice taste bad? Anyway for 50 bucks my trash can is full of uneaten Chinese food. The delivery service is great, they showed up on time and the food was hot, plus the guy who greeted me at the door was very polite and professional. Food packaged well, no problems there. The dumplings were pretty good, a little thicker on the dough area than I'm used to but not a big deal. Fried rice was pretty standard, certainly prepared different than I'm used to, but not necessarily in a bad way. Overall it was a good meal at an average price, recommend that you give them a try. The wait staff is nice with the young fellow doing set up and clean off always friendly and helpful to get anything extra that we wanted (water, lemon or extra napkins). A real asset to the joint. The fried rice was mushy? Not that big of a deal. Still okay. What ruined lunch was the $13 small dishwater Wonton Soup. Not only was there just the very minimum of different ingredients the little pork (all three nubs) strips were putrid/disgusting and it really spoiled the broth. Gross. It really should have been called rotten cabbage soup? No chicken strips and two little shrimps. Garbage. I figured that I was in trouble when they brought it out in less than five minutes. I have ordered it many times and always looked forward to having some later as a left over at the house. Usually it takes 10-15 minutes to put together and that is what I expected. I don't know if they had a new cook or what but if I had ordered this to go I would have pissed when I got home. I sent it back and they took it off my bill as I just ate some of my wife's rice and S&S chicken. What the hell is going on in the interior? Is it part office, part maintenance shop or kitchen prep area? Why not hide all that extra BS behind a curtain in a far back corner? Notice all the empty booths..? I'm sad to lose another lunch stop here in Tustin.

This is a very small family owned business and they're consistently provided excellent customer, who seem very grateful to receive business. We typically order egg rolls in 50 to 100 and they will normally have them ready within a couple hours of placing the order. However, I've always found him to be a very kind and genuinely funny person. This is a small, family-owned restaurant, and I hope people can support them a little more. They work hard every day to serve their customers. The food is good, clean, and honestly, the prices are among the most affordable in the Tustin area.
