Absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my entire life. Tried it for the first time two weeks ago and it will be the last time. Spent $60 dollars on an order to be picked up. I arrived and pulled up in front and what a surprise there wasn't a single patron in the establishment. Happy to get my food I head home where I've got company all craving Chinese food. There were 4 of us all together and not a single person had a good word to say about the food. None of us ate more then a few bites and the entire meal all 6 containers went into the trash. Never will I go there again or recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

Probably the best Chinese I've ever had. No joke. I ordered the H lunch special and cannot believe how good it was.

Their hot and sour soup is my most favorite food on the planet. They have an amazing staff and all their food is fantastic.

I give it three stars because when they first open in Anderson California they were a 4-star restaurant but then they got cheap egg rolls don't come with a meal the portions went way down and somehow after about a year the flavors were different I'm not sure I would recommend this place again but then again here it's either the Oriental Express the peacock or this place the audio Express is a dirty nasty little takeout place and the peacock well they tend to get a big greasy the further into the month ago read more

We were craving Chinese food so we ran to Chinatown Restaurant in Anderson. The restaurant does not look like much from the outside and the inside needs some help with decorating. We had the dinner for two and added the walnut shrimp. There was plenty of food and we will have leftovers for another night. The food had great taste and the staff was friendly. I came to the Chinatown restaurant to eat for dinner. I ordered the Mongolian beef and wanton soup. The food was great. the young lady that served us was very kind and helpful. I loved the restaurant, the only complaint I have is that it was too cold inside. By the time I was done it seemed to be warmer but it was very cold when I arrived. I only gave four stars because it was too cold. They would get a full five stars if the dining room was warmer and more comfortable. read more

What can I say. I love chop suey and they have fantastic hot and sour soup. It is just as good as Peter Chu's soup.

First off, the service was good, the place was very clean and nice, and it had a nice atmosphere. Though I was a little confused about the Italian decor? However, we waited almost 40 minutes for a take out order (when the restaurant was empty) and we were given sweet and sour chicken instead of orange... All in all the food was good, our egg rolls were great, and I really liked the fried rice! The sweet and sour chicken was decent, but not impressive, and the chow mein wasn't close to the best I've had, but it was ok. Nice, clean atmosphere. It looks like they left some of the decor from the old Italian restaurant that was formerly occupying the building. The map of Italia and the vines are a nice touch. ;) Service was extremely quick and friendly. Portions were huge for the price. Never a lot of people here when I drive by and it was very quiet when we were in there. Just what I needed after a loud work day. Not super crazy about Chinese food but as far as Chinese food goes, it meets expectations. Generous portion of cheese wontons. I appreciate that they skip the "imitation crab". This place has become my absolute favorite Chinese Restaurant ever! The portions are generous. The vegetables are fresh. The food is delicious. Ever since my roommate left the Bay Area she hasn't liked any Chinese food place in our area, but she loves this place and now we frequently go here for takeout. I've been searching for a good Chinese restaurant in this area. The places the locals think are good, I have found to be quite the opposite. I guess they don't get out of Shasta County too much. This place was very good. I had the lunch special with pork chow mein, beef and broccoli, and an egg roll. It was so much food, I couldn't eat it all. The noodles were wonderful!! Flavor was very good and not too salty at all. I didn't care for the soup at the beginning, however. I think it was supposed to be egg drop soup but it was very slimy (slimier than usual for egg drop soup). Very good service. read more

Terrible food!! I think I've had better at Panda Express no joke! The chow mien was rubbery and taste was very bland! The brandy chicken was a huge let down due to the fact it was just breaded bone in thighs that were deep fried with no sauce or flavor and made with really low quality chicken. In addition to all that the potstickers could have came from a local store freezer. I'm sure people will love the fact that they give a lot of food for a low price but the food is of low quality! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a smiling young lady and seated in a booth and everything was very clean. It still looks like clarizio's inside and made us miss Fred and the "hit man" but they had great service and love their food! The dinner combos are a great deal with lots to choose from. We are always treated very well by the staff at Chinatown. The place is so pleasant and the food is amazing. One night my husband and I went on a "date" when we walked into Chinatown our teenaged son was already in a booth with three of his friends! All the food was good the portions were huge and the prices were reasonable, would've gave it five stars but they didn't pack any of my to go food just brought me a bunch of Styrofoam. Ended up getting a Hotel room to break up the drive on our road trip, and saw this place was super close and cheap. The food was delicious! I Ordered a pretty standard Broccoli Beef Combo. The Chow Mein (Or I should say Lo Mein) noodles included were my favorite. They tasted fresh and possibly hand pulled in house.
