The staff at this Chipotle are the best, unlike I've ever seen at a Chipotle! They are friendly and helpful. I ended up throwing away my retainer by mistake and not realizing it until an hour later, when we go back and go up to one of their employees, and they help us locate the missing retainer ($400 in the trash!), they were busy too. Came here for lunch in the mall today and asked the servers to change their gloves so that I could get a gluten-free meal and they were very sweet about it and accommodating and gave me a little menu to show me what were the things that I could eat and they fisted up and gave me huge portions. I ordered online and convinced my boyfriend to go pick it up for the two of us for lunch. When he got back, I noticed that my burrito bowl was missing 2 of the 6 ingredients it was supposed to have. The green salsa and the corn salsa. I had even put in the "special requests" section that I wanted extra corn salsa. The whole bowl was very bland without the salsas. So I love chipotle, but unfortunately this location happens to be the closest to my house. This review is based on multiple experiences at this location. Some background, I found out about a week ago that I have celiac disease, so no more gluten for me. I'm still learning how to prepare my food and what I can/cannot eat and Chipotle just happens to be one of the safest places for me to eat because 1. Only one ingredient in the whole place has gluten (flour tortillas) and 2. I can watch them make it so I can ensure there's no cross contamination 3. Still trying to figure out how to make gluten free fare myself My husband tried calling ahead to place an order, explained I had a food allergy and kept asking the gentleman on the phone if he understood. He just kept repeating "anything else for your order?" My husband asked to speak to someone else, he was placed on hold for 22 mins. During this time he drove to the location and the phone was finally hung up when he arrived there. We have learned to not place to go orders since the staff do not seem to understand food allergies/intolerances (which I don't fault them for since that's pretty common). What I do have a problem with is the lack of common sense. I'll explain....the next time we went, I explained I couldn't have gluten and the manager instructed an employee to change his gloves, which he did after he chuckled about it like it was a joke. Then he grabbed the flour tortillas to move them out of the way to get to the corn tortillas. Why would you change gloves to avoid cross contamination just to grab the item you were avoiding??? Changes gloves again. Then puts the corn tortillas right on the tortilla heater that just had flour tortillas on them. Now I'm pretty confused why he thinks he can't touch flour tortillas, but it's okay to bake it right into the corn tortillas? I get it, I should just stay my butt at home if I have a food allergy, but I'm just trying to keep some normalcy. They get 2 stars instead of 1 because it's still chipotle and dang delicious. read more

Great food, and a lot of options. The staff put together the food in front of you in a serving bar type line so there are a million varieties for what you can get, and you can make sure its just how you like it. My personal favorite is a burrito with white rice, black beans, sour cream, lettuce and cheese, They have great vegetarian options and they also have all their nutrition facts listed. During lunch sometimes the line can be crazy long but it moves quickly, and the seating is limited but they have indoor and outdoor seating. A little pricey but definitely good food and a nice location. read more

I find that every Chipotle tastes a bit different. This one here in Columbia is a bit spicier than the one by my house... But, the main reason today is the quality today was bad. I did a pre-order to be ready at 1:15pm. I showed up at 1:10. My food was already ready and I sat down to eat there as people I were with did not pre-order..... The rice was not cooked all the way, neither were the black beans. The green tomato salsa tasted very different than I've ever had and my chicken was cold and rubbery. I used to go here all the time and didn't have any problems BUT the past couple times I've went it hasn't been that great. The main thing that bothered me is that the bag of chips is a mix of fresh ones and really stale ones. The stale ones aren't even slightly stale but are so hard and chewy that you can't even eat them. It seems like they don't want to throw away their old chips and just mix them in with the new ones. It's a franchise, food is the same as the rest. They have huge lines because Long Reach HS is next door. Also, it's located in a shopping center and customers will eat there...duh! Not sure why complain. They only have one serving line and that's why it takes so long. Ideally they should have two but that's how Chipotle works. Always busy during lunch and dinner time. Expect for there to be a long line whether you order ahead or if you just walk in. If you order online or fax the order in, when you walk up to the front cash register be prepared to be assertive flag a worker down 2 ask them about your online order. If you do not be assertive and ask them, then you are more than likely be standing around and waiting 4 many minutes until someone talks to you first. Overall, the servers are Friendly and efficient considering the amount of customers that they have to deal with. The food is good in comparison with any other Chipotle that I have eaten at. I try to order online, since the line is always out the door no matter what time you go. If you order online, the food doesn't come from the line, so it's cold/dried out. This is the closest Chipotle to me, but I think I'll make a trip to a different one. This is probably the worst one I've eaten at, at least for carry out. This was by far the WORST Chipotle experience I have ever had! I placed an order via chipotle.com at 11:12am for delivery as I was hosting a corporate conference. I received a phone call from the DoorDash delivery driver at 11:44 that he arrived to pick up my order but the store didn't have it. I placed a call to the store and they inform me their system was down and they hadn't received my order and if I want to place an order I need to come in and place it in the store. I ask what happens to the $124 that was just charged my card? The woman (Kya I believe her name was) told me to call Chipotle and have it refunded. CHIPOTLE DOESN'T HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER! I explain that I have a conference room full of people and she tells me "that's not my problem" and passes the phone to someone else who gets on the phone and asks "what seems to be the problem?" Why am I being passed on to someone else to REPEAT myself all over again?!?! She asks if I want to speak to the GM to which I said yes, and she puts me on hold for 16 mins only to finally hang up!!! I call back to ask for the manager only to be hung up on AGAIN! So I have now paid $124 for food I NEVER RECEIVED and have to wait for someone to call me since I needed to submit an online "complaint". I call the store back again and finally get the GM on the phone who was just as useless in providing any sort of decent customer service as I was told "well I'll check with the employee to see what happened". I'm FLOORED that any establishment operates with little to no decent level of customer service. Who's refunding me my $124 so I can never visit another Chipotle again?! read more

This review is for customer service only. I would say I come here pretty regularly. For the past few months I have noticed a serious decline in customer service from this location. Smaller portions, bigger attitudes, etc. My experience here tonight prompted this overdue review. My husband and I came in for dinner. I ordered a quesadilla and the employee helping us got annoyed by the initial order and then I asked for some extra cheese because she put barely any. After I asked for more she huffed, then without a word, started moving around the cheese and chicken and then finally grabbed two handfuls of cheese and threw them into the trash can then tried to wrap up the quesadilla. I said Um...I said more cheese. She glared up at me and went to get less cheese than was originally on there in the first place. I told her that and she glared at me again, then put a huge clump in the middle of the quesadilla. Then she turned on my husband and took his burrito bowl order. She put literally the tiniest amount of everything he ordered into his bowl. He is much more relaxed than I am so he didn't say anything. I asked to speak to the manager and Diego was presented to me, also with a negative attitude. He came over and said "yes?" I explained what happened and he laughed and said okay thanks and walked away. The cashier forgot to ring up my husband's drink and when we brought it to her attention she gave us a complimentary drink and said "for your inconvenience". That was the only semi redeeming part of this entire experience. I don't have time to be treated this way. When we went to the Chipotle after going to the gym, we were expecting a long line but instead there were barely anyone there. We went up to the counter to order our food and the first thing the women behind the counter asked was "What is the time?" and "I can't wait to get out of here". I understand that people want to get home as soon as possible but why do you have to say those comments in front of a customer? The people working behind the counter, did not care what the customers were asking. When someone in front me went to order, she asked for white rice chicken, and pinto beans to the first person behind the counter. Instead the worker placed brown rice and beef. When the customer told the worker that she put the wrong ingredients into the bowel, the worker got very upset and glared back at the customer. Then the worker bumped the food in the trash but used the same bowel and placed the correct ingredients into the bowel. Then it was my turn. I asked for tortilla in my bowel and chicken, white rice and pinto beans to the first worker. When I got my order and opened the lid, I was very disappointed to see that my tortilla had black and green spots. I hope that Chipotle will improve their customer service and have workers that love doing what they do instead of people working just for money and dont enjoy what they do. read more

I even mentioned it to the lady working the tortilla station and she didn't care. I asked her for some more rice, as usual, and she told me, "we aren't allowed to do that anymore". I said, "you can charge me for the damn rice then". She then skimped me on the steak, wasn't anywhere near a full scoop. And she had the nerve to tell me that was a normal portion. Well damn, might as well have just gone to Taco Bell like I was highly considering after last weeks incident. I flat out told the male supervisor on duty tonight that I am NEVER coming here again. I'll drive the extra 15 min to the next closest Chipotle and give them all of my business. And it's a lot of business. I eat here multiple times a week, every week. Sorry, needed to vent.
