I must have come here on a bad day. So far, of all the burrito restaurants like this, Chipotle has impressed me least. They seemed to have less choices. I got the burrito bowl with steak. The steak was flavorful but very tough and chewy. And I don't think I got a big enough scoop of guacamole for $1.50 extra. I also got chips and salsa, I hated the salsa and the chips were extremely salty. But based on all the good reviews here, I might give it another shot sometime. read more

I've eaten at so many different Chipotles. Who hasn't. It's always been a go to place to grab a quick bite at a higher quality than say McDonalds. However, this experience was just a real bummer. I don't give one stars lightly, but comparing it to other Chipotle establishments, there really are no excuses and no reason to go back to this location. We went here on a Sunday around 11:30 for lunch. It wasn't too busy so the line was small. Score. Or so we thought. I ordered the barbacoa tacos to start. When the guy put the meat on my last taco I had to laugh. The amount was so small, it almost seemed like a joke. The other two tacos were fine, so I'm not sure why he thought putting a quarter size of meat on the last taco was acceptable. Ok, not a big deal. I just asked the next worker to please add more meat, and she did. I love queso, so naturally I had to try Chipotle's new queso and chips. We paid for our food and sat down. I dove into the chips and queso first. Not good. The chips were so stale! Zero crisp to them. I brought them back and got a new bag. A little better but still pretty stale. I decided they were all probably stale and just gave up. Maybe the queso will save the day. Nope. The Chipotle queso is not good in flavor to begin with, but then it also was lukewarm. It gave it a really grainy texture. I just ate my tacos but at this point, I was completely over it. I understand that Chipotle is still a chain "fast-food" restaurant, but I've never had a problem before which tells me it's solely this location. Also, after reading previous reviews, the problems are consistent. They know their chips are stale and have yet to fix this problem. Chipotle, the Taco Bell for the upper middle class. I have been eating at Chipotle since 2005 and I love it! I was very happy when they opened one up in the Franklin area. Before I had to deal with Chipotle wannabes like Moe's which were never as good. My Wife and I eat Chipotle around 2-3 times a month. We usually get burritos or burrito bowls and they are fantastic. My only gripe about Chipotle is that I wish they had some sort of amazing queso. They only offer salsas and guacamole for your chips. Just a side note, since 2005, I have never been to a Chipotle without at least one semi-luxury vehicle being parked outside. As in a Lexus, BMW, etc. It's just a fun little streak I have going. read more

Got take out here today and it was awful! The foil wasn't sealed up all the way so all the salsa juice dripped through the bottom of the bag. Tortillas were soaked in the juice as well, so kind of hard to eat the tacos when they're drenched in liquid. Also got chips and guac and the guac was brown and tasted old. Had to throw it out. I must have went on an off night. The food was unusually bad for a Chipotle. Both the Black and Pinto Beans looked dried out. There was brown on the Guacamole. The lettuce had a different taste, kind of strange. The Chicken was charred, dry and some pieces were burnt. I could barely enjoy my Burrito. I couldn't eat the burnt Chicken. The clerk was friendly. I just finished dining at your location. It was a terrible experience. I ordered a bowl, and the employee that made it for me hardly put anything in the bowl that I asked for. Then I ordered chips and guacamole, sat down and started eating the chips, but they were very stale. I went up and told an employee, and he just shook his head and said ya, I know. I have been frequenting this location for a few years now, and I've never had any problems, but tonight was really bad. I ordered a a salad and got home only to find that I received no salad dressing. Then, when I tried to call, out of the 4 times I called, I was hung up on twice before I could even speak to a real person, put on hold for about 10 minutes once I did, and completely ignored when I tried again. I really don't know what to think, but I can say that I am highly disappointed and will not be patronizing this restaurant again any time soon. read more

I have been to maaaany Chipotles over the years & this is hands down the worst and nastiest location I have ever been to. I have never seen a Chipotle this messy. From the food line, to the grill, to the drink station, to the food ALL over the floor, seats, and tables, it truly looked as if this place had not been cleaned all day long. Add to that terrible service and stale chips, and you've got a location that will never get my business again. This location was a huge disappointment. My family went in for a late lunch on July 25. It was dirty, the food was ok, and the soda machine was out of order. I've never seen a Chipotle look so dirty. The tables and the floor needed attending to and trash bags needed to be changed out. The pinto beans looked mashed. And when I ordered a soda the cashier said the sprite wasn't working, but I wasn't getting sprite so I ordered a soda. When I went to the machine, water/soda was just pouring out of the sprite dispenser and did that until we left, a good thirty minutes. My coke was a bit flat and when I went to get more, it was totally flat and watered down. I seriously didn't see a manager or assistant manger doing anything about it. It wasn't busy at the time we went in and employees were just standing around. The cashier did empty one of the trash cans eventually. Will not go to this particular Chipotle again. read more

Look, I have been an avid Chipotle fan for years. I've stuck with them through all of their health scares and such, but I can't excuse what has happened the last few times I've visited this location. The line is always slow moving usually because of the to go orders taped on the wall. If you're going to offer online orders you have to get your staff up to par and also bump up the number of bodies you have working. Each time I've come in lately there has been no attention given to the dining area. Every table is filthy. Tonight I watched three tables have to be wiped off by customers with napkins before they could sit down. The employees are letting the steam wells run dry and it's filling the place with that terrible order us food service types know too well. Also, tonight they're out of tea for the evening they said and one of the soda machine spickets has been broken for 3 weeks. I hate complaining but this really needs to be looked into. Most people here tonight don't look enthused anymore after they realize the experience wasn't what they were hoping for. read more

Wow, haven't experienced an employee so rude at chipotle before. Elizabeth Aikens was completely rude tonight to me and my friend. I asked for fajitas in one of my bowls even though I saw that there were none on the line but I saw the ones behind them on the counter and she snapped back quickly saying therms were clearly out. I pointed to the fajitas in the back and asked about them and she said they were uncooked but I corrected her and asked about the other pan and she said,"I can't see from this angle". After I just stood and looked at her in shock she looked and to no avail, there were the cooked fajita veggies. She was rushing so quickly through the line that everything was messy and she did not get the portions right, but I didn't care to deal with her anymore to try to get it fixed. I like Chipotle because 1) I love mexican, 2) most of it is gluten free, and 3) you can eat relatively healthy if you try. Everything on their menu is gluten free except for the flour tortillas. And I can eat there for 440 calories with the following order: Veggie bol, rice, black beans, mild salsa and guacamole. Awesome! read more

We stopped for a quick lunch around noon before we had to get to an appt. We waited in line, and right before our turn, the manager handed the employee about to make our food a to go order. I mentioned to this employee and the cashier that we were in a bit of a hurry as I waited for them both to complete the to go order. I then sat in front of this particular to go order as I ate and it was still there when I left. The to go order system is a major problem when you are cutting the line with them while a customer is standing there waiting. It's pretty ridiculous and rude. read more

I like this location, good vibes and always super busy. The 1 major draw back is at the heart of lunch rush hour traffic in this area can be brutal and so can parking. I use to love going to this specific Chipotle Grill. There was a time it was clean and the service was excellent. That is no longer the case. I just stood in line with my family for 40 minutes before we reached the order area. That time gave me the opportunity to see how bad things are here. Restaurant was filthy. The service was too slow. Staff wouldn't stay on the line and the cashier kept leaving his post. Once we received our meal there were no forks and completely out of tea. When we asked for tea they never brought it out the whole time we were there eating. I was a loyal customer that had stood by Chipotle, but that is no longer the case. I can deal with the loud music and terrible atmosphere, but don't expect me to come back with the attitudes and poor service. It is a bad sign when more customers are standing in line to order versus how many were actually eating. read more

It's like a hipster version of Moe's, with a lot less topings, $2 extra charge for guac, extra charge for chips, and friendly staff who can't roll a burrito to save their lives. I'm sure I should be ashamed of saying this but, "Chipotle is one of my favorite restaurants". It's consistently good and I can get down with their approach to quality food. Also, they have two vegetarian options including Sofritas which is a mix of peppers and tofu and also a vegetable mix of grilled peppers and onions. The best part? They have margaritas! Now the margaritas are the only thing I've ever ordered from Chipotle that lack consistency but I suspect that is because they are a new menu item. The first time I ordered a margarita is was fresh, the second time tasted more like a mix. Regardless, you just can't beat ethically produced food that taste good...and margaritas. read more
