This Chipotle location has the WORST customer service. My sister and I ate there on 11/17/15 in the evening and the girls working were awful. One yelled at us and other customers to take our orders. Then when I asked for a little bit of guacamole the other girl said "do you want guac or not? It's $1.25 extra!" They acted like we were inconveniencing them! I typically admire the Chipotle teams for their teamwork, speed and professionalism. This Chipotle was the opposite. From the first employee on the line to the last, they were rude and unprofessional (even to the point of intention snarky comments to me and about other customers). I had to force an employee to go back and offer me options he entirely skipped over, as he practically threw my bowl down the line. An employee ordering lunch in front of us was pretending to be an "obnoxious customer" and had her co-workers walk her through every option on the menu, was making absurd requests (such as combining the salsa and sour cream and shaking it up for her) and ultimately slowing the entire line of customers down significantly. Overall, a brand experience that will prevent me from ever going back to that location. If I didn't know it wasn't the norm, I might never go to a Chipotle again. read more

Hey, its Chiptole, it will be the same wherever you go. Is what anyone else would be thinking, but i am different. This Chipotle is interesting as the lettuce felt dry and the meat lacked any flavor. Delish food, fast service, tons of ppl lined up equals a good place for a nice lunch. My fave is sitting in the high tables near the window and people watch during the summertime. Though in the weekend lunch hour this place is P.A.C.K.E.D. Be warned. Also, the parking lot is kinda squeezed now that they built another little stripmall building next door. Be ready to wait in line during meal times! It's not uncommon for the line to go out the door at this location. Chipotle is one of the best options while in the Deer Park shopping area. I frequent this location all the time and have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend visiting Chipotle's website to find out the nutritional information! I've actually lost quite a bit of weight regularly enjoying burrito bowls that are less than 500 calories. If you don't understand what you're piling into your burrito, you can easily eat 1500 calories for lunch! read more

Went here for lunch to grab something to go. It was pretty busy on a Thursday afternoon. Ordered a burrito with steak, brown rice, cheese, sour cream. The guy doing the burrito gave a tiny scoop of brown rice and steak. After I saw that, I asked for another scoop of rice because there was literally nothing on there. He gave another small scoop. Both scoops equated to maybe 3/4 of a normal scoop of rice I've gotten anywhere else. So I asked for a third scoop of rice and asked for a little more steak, since that scoop was small as well. He proceeded to give me an additional maybe five pieces and told the cashier to ring me up as double meat. Due to the fact that it was extremely busy and that I was on a time crunch, I didn't refute back but to be charged $15 for a normal Burrito, which still looked small compared to any other time I've gotten a burrito here, is absurd. I've gone to chipotle dozens of times, and never have I ever had a rude experience. I was so upset about it that I actually downloaded yelp just to make this review. I went in for my usual bowl and when I was checking out the girl working the register (she had a nose piercing, red lipstick, very curly hair) said something and I didn't hear her. So I had said I'm sorry I didn't hear you, she then repeated herself and again I didn't hear her. She then said loudly what protein did you have and then rudely stormed off. Like I'm sorry that my lost of hearing makes it difficult to hear sometimes, especially in an area with music playing. She then came back, and continued to check me out with an attitude. I was so upset that I told her that she doesn't have to be a bitch! Where she actually looked at me and said and I quote "if you don't like it, you can leave", she stormed off yet again. By far the worst customer service I have ever received! The two gentlemen in the front were extremely nice though! I then sat down and ate my food, but didn't see her after that. I would love to talk to a manager and get her name so I can contact corporate because again I am hearing impaired, and to get that kind of service because of it is absolutely ridiculous! She made me feel like it was such a burden for her to have to repeat herself. I sure hope she doesn't work there too much longer. read more

Pros: Always fast, always friendly, always give me lots of my desired barbacoa and don't stiff me on my margaritas. The dining area is always clean and the servers seem to get along okay with their new dorky white-guy manager (fourth this year.) Cons: Having to drive to Deer Park and refrain from stressing credit limit at evil Barnes and Noble, Circuit City, etc. Overall: I would ride my bike here from downtown Barrington if I had to. I always come to this Chipotle, the meat is seasoned well the staff is always nice and pleasant. I'm pretty much a regular here other chipotles I've visited either had bland meat or bad service (employees with bad attitudes). I had a terrible customer experience here tonight. I asked for a steak burrito and they proceeded to make me a chicken burrito. Once I stopped him to say I wanted steak, he rolled his eyes, threw the half made burrito away dramatically. I can get over someone not being friendly, we all have bad days right, but getting sick after eating there is not excusable. Very poorly managed Chipotle. Went in around 6:45 pm. When i tried to pay for my meal the cashier realized she had no singles - not a one. Come on - didn't you realize the order before or the five before that you were running low? But the worst part was when she shouted for the manager he was in the office on the phone and would t even turn around. She called several times and he didn't move his dead &$$ - during dinner rush. Finally i scrounged around for exact change, paid and left. When i got home - i live half hour away - i found out they never put in the salad dressing. I love Chipolte!!! But not this location. EVERY TIME I eat at this location the line is extremely long and the employees do not work fast enough. The tables are always dirty and when I ask an employee to clean them I get the eye roll and attitude. The portion size is ridiculously small in comparison to other locations. You will get a half scoop of rice and meat. Not even enough to cover the bottom of the bowl. I'm so disappointed as this one is closest to my house. The up-charge for a full scoop of meat is also crazy! I usually pay about $10 for one bowl... I'd like it to be filled. That's not too much to ask! This is the WORST Chipotle I have been to. I have been here on multiple occasions because it's the nearest Chipotle to my girlfriend's place. Every time it has sucked. The employees literally throw on the ingredients as fast as they can (even in times when there is no one there!) and the quality sucks! Last time I went the rice was HARD. It was disgusting! The Chipotle rice is one of my favorite parts of the burrito (next to the chicken), but it was very unappetizing. I've always been very disappointed. Not to mention, the tables are never very clean. The order hasn't even been made, ready. Even if I go 15 minutes later my food is never ready. I talked to the supervisor every time and they tell me that it won't happen again and apologized. My husband and I made a last minute decision on Tuesday night to get dinner at Chipotle after getting gas filled at Costco before the polar vortex arrived. I had never eaten at this location. Walking in the inside door entryway it was covered in salt and water with a yellow sign indicating wet floor. At least they put the caution sign up, but I thought it was unprofessional to leave the entryway a mess especially during the dinner rush. We arrived just in time before a long line started forming behind us. It seemed like they had a hard time keeping up with the customers. My husband's burrito was ripping and they were planning on just giving my husband his burrito with the food falling out of the tortilla. My husband had to ask them for an additional tortilla instead of it being offered and an option to him. If he hadn't asked for an additional tortilla they were going to give him the burrito with everything falling out of it. We found a place to sit but it was FREEZING in the place. I don't know if the heating system wasn't working or what, but I wanted to wear my winter coat and couldn't because I would get the food all over the sleeves of my coat. At least the food was warm, but because of how FREEZING the place was it didn't stay warm for long. At the time the food tasted good, but by the next morning my husband and I both had upset stomachs from the place. I was planning on making this a healthy option with their organic products used and making burrito bowls there, but after my last expensive, and the after effects I think it's going to be awhile until I have Chipotle again. read more
