This place is really good and healthy eats, but my problem is the consistency in portion. Some days, the employees pile on the meat, while others they are very light handed with everything including lettuce for the salads. I'm really not sure why, so I'd rather pass on this place and go to a real taqueria like Taqueria Maria in Pinole or Acapulco in Rodeo. **Update** I have been coming here once a week because of the convenience and healthy factors. The consistency with portions haven't changed, but I've since learned to simply ask for more. Sometimes they'll charge an additional $2 for meat, sometimes they don't. Pros: The interior of the space is nice, new and modern looking. It is a lot bigger than other Chipotles that I have been to and has a lot of seating inside. Whether there is a short or long ling, the staff does a good job of moving quickly through each customer. I have been to this location a few times and they have always had the food stocked. Also, the quality of food is fresh and delicious. Their guacamole is better than any other location I have been to so far. Cons: The parking lot is awful. Chipotle is located in a popular shopping center and therefore there is always traffic and a full lot, making it difficult and time consuming to find a spot. Once you make it inside, the staff zips through each customer, which is nice but also causes them to make mistakes. The employees always make me feel rushed and don't come across as friendly (or even polite most times). You are in customer service so maybe a smile or a small nod would be nice. Finally, my biggest dislike about this location is that they service the smallest portions compared to every other Chipotle I have been to. I might get just more than half of what I get elsewhere. Food is always great! Service is always with a smile. If you hate the line then call ahead, um, it's called CALL AHEAD for your order - duh. Always expect a line, so come early or call. Chipotle is one of my favorite places to get a quick yummy burrito! I have been to a couple of different locations and I like this location for the great customer service. They are all really nice and are quick by making your food quickly. The place itself is big, with plenty of seating area, inside & out. Soda place and utensil area is always organized which is nice. The only thing I don't like is the parking situation which can sometimes be a hassle. Mainly because trader joes is right there. Other than that the food is good, fresh, yummy, good customer service and the lines aren't that long - unless it's in the middle of lunch hour rush or on weekends. read more

The three stars has nothing to so with the food. Our burrito bowl and salad were delicious and up to par with the Chipotle brand. The problem is this location is so dirty in the seating area. There is good all on the floors and under the tables and people don't take their trays and trash to the garbage. The workers need to be cleaning it more often and pay attention. Never did I'd think I'd have to leave a review much less a negative one but NEVER ever come hear again! My girlfriend had a basic chicken bowl, with black beans, pico, and lettuce and ended up getting food poisoning yesterday 3/5/17. Service was mediocre at best and they could use more maintenance. I love this Chipotle so much, it has to be the best one in the Bay Area. To start everything off It's in such a great spot with Yogurtland right next to it which I always end up getting after Chipotle, They have a Trader Joe's, Jamba Juice, Krispy Kreme, and Walgreens all buy it too. Whenever I go to the Chipotle in San Francisco, Martinez, or El Cerrito they're all so scarce on everything, but this Chipotle knows what the correct amount of Guacamole and Chicken actually is. I always end up saying a little more and a little bit more at these other Chipotle's but they always end up getting it right. The Customer Service is also really kind and friendly, with quick service. Watch out coming in after a big High School Sports Event or just after 5 o'clock the lines are huge but go by quite quick. The only bad thing I would have to say about this Chipotle is that they tend to burn the Chicken a bit sometimes, but it doesn't really bother me. I love the Bowls with Brown Rice, Pinto Beans, Chicken and Veggies, with the Tomatoes, Cheese, a little sour cream, Lettuce, and the Guacamole. First time at this Chipotle and all I can say is this was probably the best Chipotle I have ever had. Maybe things have changed for the better after all the previous negative reviews. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans and additional veggies (onions and bell peppers). Everything was cooked just right and the portion size was generous. The chicken had a nice char without being dry and the mild salsa looked fresh like it was just made. I left very full and satisfied. As for the wait, it is typical Chipotle. Expect to wait 10 min or more especially around lunch or dinner time. You know much of the wait is the diner's fault when they don't know what they want when they get to the front of the line or you get that person who wants everything on the side. read more
