Called the store to find out what was happening with a catering order as it was running late. First person I spoke with, got another associate who was very rude. She stated that our order was not paid (however I received a receipt in my email). She then stated that the order was for pick up, not delivery. Which did not make sense because part of the total for the order included a $25 delivery charge. She then told me there is nothing she can do, and I would need to call catering because it is not her fault. Not only was my delivery late, she was rude and not willing to help, or remedy the situation. I cater quite a few lunch events per month, will never use Chipotle again for catering. read more

Absolutely abysmal service, sarcastic and not friendly whatsoever, very skimpy with protein especially on a large quesadilla and when she was skimpy on the cheese I asked for extra and she picked up three individual pieces of shredded cheese and threw them on. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I ordered, sat down in an empty restaurant. I was eating when Leslie the cashier/associate went to where I was eating and started to sweep. She swept so hard and with so much force that the trash hit my foot. I asked her to stop and if she could start somewhere else while I ate since she was lifting all that dirt. Which I found to be disgusting! Not to mention rude and lack of manners. She said no, that she was doing her job and that nobody has ever complained. I told her, but I'm complaining. She kept sweeping and hit me with the trash gathered on my feet. I asked for the manager. The manager claimed to be Ana. I explained the issue told her that I found that inappropriate. She looked at me never said anything and in Spanish told Leslie to continue sweeping and doing her job!! That she wasn't doing anything wrong. I got up and asked another associate what the GM's name was; Ana approached and said I am. I was appalled that she would treat her customers like that. I asked for her card she refused. I grabbed a card that was displayed with Iris Corra written on it. I asked her to verity her name, she said "Ana and you can call whoever you want" THAT WAS BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE!!! I have NEVER been treated like that! That is one of my favorite places to eat. I will never return to that store ( Richardson location on Campbell near UTD) I have complained on their site, called and have yet to hear from anyone. I specifically told them that I would wait to hear back before posting my review here and on BBB and anywhere else where I can share my experience. I have never once hear from anyone, not a call nor an email. NOTHING This is not the level of service anyone should be providing especially no the GM! I decided to give the new smoke brisket a try on a burrito. I was disappointed. First of all I should have got a double tortilla. The ingredients were overpowering for the one tortilla. They were not able to be completely wrapped up. The sour cream, pico de gallo, and green salsa soaked part of the tortilla. By the time I got home, the cold ingredients had overpowered the warm ingredients and left my burrito barely above room temperature. I wish there was a way you could have the cheese melted. Maybe if they could melt the cheese to the tortilla before adding the next round of toppings, that might help as well. But you have a warm tortilla and warm rice and warm meat and warm veggies than you add on top of it cold Pico, cold sour cream, cold cheese, cold green salsa, and cold lettuce, they just cancel each other out. I think the brisket would have been better had it not been marinated in a sauce. I know that when brisket comes to mind people think about barbecue, but it could be like barbecue spices. I just don't think it meshed well with the Chipotle concept. The only reason this gets a three is because my daughter and my wife both enjoy their burrito bowl and soft tacos. So I have been a customer for along time at this location. Recently they went up on their prices(about 6 months ago). Not a problem, I know things go up however about two months ago they started giving less protein when you order. Instead of well rounded scoops one and a half now they give you one only and they make sure-that it is not rounded then they try to slowly spread it out across the bowl to make it appear to be more. So most sure they are trying to save money/make more money but it just seems to be very deceptive and dishonest. Then when asked about this they act as though they do not understand. I get that it is management driven. Anyway I choose not to go there due to this reason anymore. Can not wait for Chiloso to open up a location in Plano. read more

I am a diehard Chipotle fan, and since I recently moved to North Dallas, I had to find a new location to satisfy my cilantro lime rice cravings. Unfortunately this was not the one. I walked in and was standing in line patiently when I looked down and noticed crickets wedged up under the food service bar. I'm talking easily 50 bugs, some dead, some kind of just hanging out near the customers' feet, some crawling toward the food stations. It was easily the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in a restaurant. Needless to say, I immediately turned around and headed to the Addison location on Beltline instead. Do yourself a favor and choose that one or the one in Frisco. It's worth the extra few miles of driving. read more

Okay, so where to begin? Pros: Chipotle's food, and the consistency of the product is usually great. I love that it's always warm and never falters on that same spicy flavor every time. Cons: This location though has a major flaw, and that is the language barrier you will encounter with some of the employees. I mean, don't get me wrong. I have no grudges against Mexican-Americans working to make a living, and appreciate the ones who do. However, when it affects the quality of the food (like for example you ask for light sauce and the she pours the sauce heavy because she couldn't understand 'light' in English), it becomes a hardship that customers are forced to endure. If a manager were present at all times to help guide those who do have a language barrier, that'd improve the place tenfold! Just advice, until then I will give this place three stars, for hopes of a better review in the future. Pros: sofritas are delicious. Tortillas are soft. Like the variety of choices. Typically friendly staff. Cons: my entire experience tonight. staff is too busy chatting to place the correct sauces/extras on your burrito/bowl. Asked for tomatillo salsa and got a whopping scoop of corn (I hate corn salsa). When I tried to correct the mistake, I got ignored. There was only one other person in line (and everyone was listening to her because apparently she got a to go order that was completely wrong and came to get a refund). Guess no one could focus on anything other than the other customer. In addition, there was meat and veggies that had fallen into their sofritas tonight (veg option) and they just picked them out of the container. My meal never got fixed. I've had some good meals here, with great customer service. This is not one of those meals. 3 stars for past experiences. Zero for tonight. read more

Avoid this chipotle at all costs. I've been here over a dozen times and the majority of the time they can't even fill the bowl because of how frugal they are with RICE AND BEANS. Chipotle is a build your own burrito joint. The format is very similar to build your own sub restaurant like Subway or Quiznos and is similar to Qdoba. Your first option is a bowl or tortilla. A bowl is a salad, no tortilla. For the heath concious, the tortilla is huge and LOADED with carbs. Both options come with cilantro lime rice and your choice of black or pinto beans. Next pick your meat Meat selections include chicken, marinated pork (barbacoa), or steak. They also offer onions and peppers for a "fajita" style burrito. Toppings include: lettuce, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and mild/medium/hot sauce. A burrito and a drink will cost you just under $8. My recommendation for a burrito is: chicken, fajita peppers, no beans, light cheese, lettuce, mild and hot sauce. read more

To preface, I think the people that live next door to Chipotle locations (and other establishments for that matter) can give the most accurate accounts of consistency and quality of the food. I've lived down the street for about 10 years - I have run the numbers and down the math and I may have been here over 100 times. I have seen the steak cube pieces range from rare to well done, the pico de gallo go from bland to fantastic and the employees seasonally shift each year - all quite an interesting turn of time. Since there's no use talking about the past, the current state of this location seems to have no troubles. Of course portion sizes change with each different hand of the employee but relatively it's consistent here (unless that homie Maria hooks you up). They have had several (nonconsecutive) weeks of an absence of carnitas (which I've never tried), pico de gallo, and rarely steak. So be aware that this may occur, especially because this is in a high traffic location so daily stock may run low as well. They never have problems if you detail a half scoop or extra of an ingredient. They'll give you extra salsas if you ask for some to go. Never have had service issues with problems or disputes with employees here. read more

I used to LOVE Chipotle. It was my favorite healthy fast food place. But quality, consistency and service just keep going downhill so I'm officially done. The pick up order is consistently wrong and I quit using it. Today my in-person order was missing an ingredient, the rice was chewy and undercooked, and the chicken was so salty that I had to throw it out. I understand the occasional issue and know that Covid has made good help hard to find. But enough is enough and there are plenty of good eateries nearby. I ordered a Burrito with chips and guacamole and Door Dash delivered on time. I opened the little plastic container with the guacamole and it looked almost 3 days old! It was no longer green but between gray and black. I notice a price of something hard and round sticking up and I got a knife in case it started to breathe......it was hard and curved. Could not stick the knife in it. I noticed several other smaller pieces also. Kinda freaked out! I took a picture and sent an email to Door Dash. They were sorry and credited my account with &1.95. My wife, daughter, and nephew really like Chipotle so we end up eating from there about 3-4 times a month, split between walk-in and ordering online/app. The food is consistent, and they all enjoy it. I usually order different menu items just to keep myself from getting bored with the food. But nothing against the restaurant. I'd recommend ordering online because you can usually walk in, grab your food and walk out. That convenience is hard to beat...but the last 2 times my order hasn't even been started when I get there. Both times I was treated very well. First time I was offered a drink while I waited and the second time my order was individually taken care of to make sure I didn't wait longer than necessary. They literally had me out 3 minutes later. I appreciated the customer care. We'll be back. read more

As others stated. It's Chipotle and its awesome... This location has friendly staff and the normal chipotle great food. I am happy this location doesn't skim on portion size like the Forest and Preston location does. The chicken I ordered was still moist which is a plus as some locations typically overcook and dry out the chicken and steak. Ok, So, Chipotle. Yes, solid, but basic. Good flavors at this location. I will say we went on a Sat. after lunch rush, so it was an easy in and out. It was nice that the burrito did not rip, like I have had in the past. So what do you need to know. Well, the place was clean, the food was good (flavor, quantity, quality), service was average. I really would give it 3.5. If you are looking for something quick and easy, you will be fine here. I will say, if you can find a Freebirds, they have much more options for your burrito, plus a loyalty program to earn free food. Everyone has a great personality here. No nasty attitude at this location. Nothing but smiley faces here. This location is very clean as well. The service is super fast, well of course right? Why would they be slow? They are super busy all day and they are very organized and works really great as a team. I would recommend eating at this particular location to everyone. I didn't have the greatest experience at this location today. However, I don't think it is the fault of the employees. I think Chipotle corporate needs to create a system in which they fulfill their delivery orders in the back part of the kitchen, away from the dine-in and to-go orders. I was next in line, but stood waiting for several minutes in order to be helped. The staff, however, was too busy preparing delivery orders to even acknowledge me. They really seemed overwhelmed...and it seemed like there was very little organization in the process. This all caused them to not be as courteous as they normally are. Like I said, I don't think this is the employees fault. Yet Chipotle corporate needs to work on their system. I've had the same type of experience at several different Chipotle locations.
