The Samamish location is horribly managed. -charged me for a barbacoa bowl when I ordered chicken - server took a phone call in the middle of putting together my bowl and I had to ask her to change her gloves - no sauce cups or utensils - chicken was incredibly salty but somehow the bowl was overly sweet too, just a bad bowl overall Also the parking lot is very hard to navigate during rush hour :) avoid!! read more

I really don't understand the low reviews on this place. It is a standard Chipotle. The food is the same as any other Chipotle. We eat here almost on a weekly basis and have never had a problem with our order. It is a good, standard go to. We really enjoy the customizable bowls/salads. read more

I recently visited Chipotle Mexican Grill in Sammamish and experinced one of the worst customer service experiences at a restaurant. I ordered a chicken bowl and a hard-shell taco. Like many customers, I've already noticed that Chipotle portions seem to be getting smaller over time -- especially when it comes to the meat. Customers pay premium prices for a bowl that often feels like one scoop of chicken with the rest filled by rice, lettuce, and other inexpensive vegetables. That becomes more frustrating when you consider that Chipotle generates billions of dollars in revenue every year, while customers continue paying more for smaller portions and declining service. When I went to pay, my card would not process. The employee attempted it three separate times, but it still would not work. I stepped outside and spent about 30 minutes on the phone with my card company resolving the issue. Once the card was cleared, I went back inside to complete my purchase. At that point, I noticed my food had been sitting off to the side the entire time. The bowl was no longer hot and the taco shells had become soggy. I calmly and politely asked if they could remake the order so the food would be fresh. The employee responded, "That's not my fault that your card didn't work," implying they would not remake the food. I then asked if this was really their idea of customer service. After that, the employees ignored me while I stood there waiting. I kindly asked to speak with the store manager. A worker came from the back and said they called the manager, and the manager said to refuse remaking the order. What made this experience worse was how personal the employees seemed to make the situation. It felt like they were picking and choosing who deserved respectful customer service and who did not. The moment I calmly expressed my concerns about receiving cold food and soggy taco shells, the attitude completely shifted toward dismissiveness and avoidance instead of professionalism. What is more concerning is the feeling that customers are expected to simply accept poor treatment because employees can always fall back on the idea that they "reserve the right to refuse service." While businesses absolutely have rights to protect employees from abusive behavior, respectfully voicing concerns about food quality and customer service should never make a paying customer feel threatened, ignored, or dismissed. Chipotle publicly states that its mission is to "Cultivate a Better World," emphasizing respect, hospitality, and creating positive experiences for customers. Unfortunately, based on my experience at the Sammamish location, those values were nowhere to be found. The issue was never about the payment delay -- things happen. The issue was the complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and customer service afterward. Any business that values customers should understand that serving cold food with soggy taco shells after a 30-minute wait is unacceptable. This location either needs new management or employees who are properly trained in basic customer service and how to handle situations respectfully. Customers are paying more than ever at Chipotle, yet the quality of both portions and service continues to decline. read more

This is Mexican fast food it is what it is but the service is amazing. The ladies at the front our so good with kids and my kid was actually able to order his own food without me chiming in. The front office does not accept phone calls so you're stuck with an automated voice system that can literally only do one thing: Take orders. And the online tool "Pepper" claims that you can dispute online, except it immediately disappears saying something about sending you an email - which it doesn't. I'd rather go to Taco Bell. The female manager, who appeared to be Mexican, not only forgot to include my rice in the quesadilla, but when I asked for a water cup, she specifically told me not to get soda because I was Black. She didn't make the same request to anyone else. I don't even drink sodas. she was like I know you're going pour sodas instead of water. When I asked for the manager, she claimed to be the manager and told me I wasn't a customer, but just a delivery person--when in fact, I had placed and paid for the order myself. TL;DR. Don't be in a hurry and check your bag before you leave if it's a mobile order from the Sammamish location. I love Chipotle and been to this location at least 50 times over the past couple of years. Most times orders are 15-20 minutes later than the committed time. That's a problem because you have to be there and wait or it will be cold if the make it on time for once. Maybe 10-15% of the time, something is wrong with the order (surprising given it's printed out and stuck to the bag). There usually seems to be enough employees working, and it's certainly not for lack of effort as they're often moving quickly and seem stressed. Feels like a training and/or process problem with mobile orders to me. I've started just standing in line the old fashioned way because it's really frustrating waiting for 20 minutes while several people walk in, order and leave with their food while I'm waiting. read more

Where is the consistency? I've dined here many times per month and they just can't be relied on. Last night we went for dinner and the guacamole was so dried it was like a paste. It had strings, my guacamole had the stem mixed in, there were obvious brown spots included on the chunks, and it was flavorless. If they're out of season, it's probably best to stop making it rather than turn us off completely and waste part of my dinner that sticks to it. The rice was also not well seasoned this time. I'm very sensitive to salt and I feel like my meal was salt free. The staff was nice, though they billed me for "queso" (no one who has had real queso would call it such) and I had to get a refund. Sometimes they do get it right and the steak is medium rare and not tough or overcooked. I had to choose chicken last time because that was not the case. Sometimes the beans are seasoned well and not undercooked and too long on the burner (more like a glue than individual beans). Our family loves chipotle and I'd love to give a better rating once I can rely on things being mixed, seasoned, and cooked more consistently. And they keep my honey's chorizo. All that being said, the chips were tasty last night. At least it's getting easier to walk in and change our mind if things don't look up to par. read more
