Mistakes happen, so that part wasn't a huge deal. The employees corrected the order after some confusion, although one of the burgers ended up getting thrown away unnecessarily. What really ruined the visit was another customer who involved himself in the situation for no reason. While we were trying to sort out the misunderstanding, he started making rude comments toward us, then escalated to yelling racial insults, including calling us "stupid minorities," loud enough for people in the drive-thru to hear. I told my friend to walk away before things escalated further, but the whole situation left a bad impression. This happened on May 18 around 11:20 PM. The food itself was decent, but the atmosphere and overall experience made this visit unpleasant.

Oh and to top it off, another customer didn't hear their order (to be fair, the person who called out the name didn't say it very clearly or loudly, but the customer also had headphones on, so it was a lose-lose situation)... so it sat on the counter for awhile. When the customer finally came up to pick up their food, a worker said since the food had sat there for some time, let them know if it's too cold. Wow, very nice! Yes, customer service like this shouldn't be such an anomaly, but I've had pretty bad experiences with issues from ordering at a kiosk at other restaurants, and the service here was so much better. The place was pretty clean, food was good.

At 6:10 I noticed that the order was still showing just "Order Accepted", not being prepared or ready for pickup or on the way, so I called. The person who answered said that my order had been picked up at 5:30 by DoorDash (because apparently ChowNow subcontracts to them, but I never got a DoorDash link?) and that once it's picked up they have no control over anything and it's up to the delivery service to make sure it arrives. He didn't even seem concerned that my food had been in limbo for 45 minutes. Since my food was missing and nobody knew where it was, I requested a refund. He said he had to talk to the manager. I asked to speak to the manager, but he said the manager wasn't there. He said he'd call her and ask her to call me. The food, lukewarm, arrived at 6:30: a half hour after I'd requested, 45 minutes after I was told it would arrive, and a full hour after it was picked up from the restaurant. We had given up on it and were about to order from somewhere else by that point. My crispy tacos were tough and oily, the meat was cold and the lettuce was soggy and the whole thing was very unappetizing. The manager never called. The next day (today), I called again, in the early afternoon. I asked to speak to the manager. They told me the manager wasn't there. I told them the story in brief, they said they would ask the owner to call me. I asked, as kindly as I could, if he could make sure to tell the owner that I'd been waiting all night the day before for the manager to call, and I hoped I could finally talk to someone about the issue. The owner has not called. We won't be ordering from Aceituno's again. I'm really disappointed in the restaurant, in their choice of delivery services, in their lack of customer service, and their total lack of follow through.

So much happiness in my life now. Not only is there a new spot for lunch near my work but it's delicious Chipotle. There were numerous times when the "what's for lunch" convo would start and someone would said Chipotle just for it to be quickly shot down because none of us wanted to deal with Northgate Mall. Chipotle heard our cries of woe and created a whole new location. It has its own tiny parking lot and is a quick trip from work. Now that it's fully open I'm sure we'll be coming here a ton for our lunches. I usually go for the chorizo but today I went for the chicken and it was good (you never know if a chain is going to serve dry chicken). Rice and beans were all good. I'll be back! read more

Pretty lousy Chipotle location. Normally I like Chipotle and their food but this one served up stale chips and did absolutely nothing when a man with mental or drug issues made threatening comments to multiple patrons and tried to start fights when I was in there recently. Either hire security or call the Seattle PD - your patrons deserve a safe eating environment, stale chips or not. read more

Although each fry was a little softer than I would've preferred, the coating of cajun spice on the outside gave it a perfect seasoning, and the inside of each one was so perfectly soft. I really enjoyed these. The one thing I will deduct from the fries is the lack of a dipping sauce. They did provide ketchup, but I wasn't a huge fan of that since it was in packets. These would've been significantly elevated with some sauce you could order on the side There were a lot of fries in the bag - so at times it felt like the meal was more comprised of fries than the burger. The only thing was during my visit, the carne asada was way too salty but my other visit was not as salty. I'll definitely come back to Aliberto's and it's also great that they're open 24 hours for drive thru.
