Truly a wretched experience. I've been a Chipotlé fan for a while in many other states, notably Colorado, Illinois and Indiana but they have utterly shit the bed in Washington. The three times I've been to this location, nothing has gone correctly, the first to visits the order has been completely incorrect. Today (29 Oct 2021), I pulled up to the drive-through window and was greeted by... ... a SPOKANE VALLEY POLICE OFFICER ...who told me he was called to the restaurant by another patron because the restaurant appeared abandoned and all the staff was GONE. After reading all these reviews, I actually laughed. We only had to wait about 5 minutes during busy dinner hour, our food was fresh and hot with good flavor, and the staff was very friendly. The service here is horrible. Don't bother doing the drive through pick up, they just ignore you until they are ready to say hello. Watched my food sit there for 15 minutes while I waited for someone to open the window. They are always out of items too. And they mess up your order often. Got guacamole and it was just chunks of avocado. I could go on and on!!! Chipotle is one of my FAVORITE places to eat but the service and environment here makes me want to never go back! Wow lunch time and they are literally out of everything! No beans, no rice, no chicken, no steak.. they literally have pork and salsa. Please explain why it's so hard to keep the line stocked? Several months in, this particular Chipotle has not improved. Food quality is on par with what you should expect and the only reason for the second star. Service is horrendously slow -- it's not that they don't know what to do but that there's no speed to it. An average walk-in order is typically 20 minutes or more, even with a minimal line, and an online order will easily reach double whatever their time estimate is. My last online order, I entered the pickup line about two minutes prior to the time the app gave me. It took 20 minutes from then to reach the window, and at that point the order hadn't even been started. On the plus side, the order hadn't been sitting all that time, but there's absolutely no reason they shouldn't be able to keep up when the other local Chipotle has no problem doing so. read more

Today, I received an email that promoted free Guac with the purchase of an entree. I ordered 4 entree (family of four) and entered promo code AVO2023. I hurried and paid for my order thinking I received a good deal. No, once discovering I had indeed paid for all four extra guacamole, I canceled my order. Canceling my order was a deal of its own. An AI handles the complaints and is very limited to what can be done. Simple way of resolving the issue is by canceling the order and reordering. The refund is issued in 3 to 5 days. So they hang on to your money. Navigating around this is time consuming. No live person is ever available even when you directly call the location. Trial and error, but lets see where I went wrong. 1st, I reordered without guacamole, next enter promo code and then added the guac to my entree. Originally, I had ordered the meal with guac and entered the promo code. The steps in how you order matter. This only works the first time. So all other 3 members of household have to either pay or not get any guac. However, the advertisement suggest per entree, not per order per entree, not per person, per entree. Below this ad was another ad promoting a free concert of which I'm not interested nor am I interested in there rewards programs. After revisiting this page I strolled down and at the very end in fine print it states, "Maximum one offer per Rewards account holder". If I could make this print smaller I would. Moral of the story is cook your own dinner but if your AC breaks down and need to rely on outside source for a few days, don't fall for gimmicks like these. On top of everything my brown rice was hard and crunchy. Just sad to have spent time and money on bad food. Always been a big fan of chipotle but this location just isn't cutting it for me. Every time I order online I'm given such small quantities of meat that are entirely unproportional to the rest of the toppings. I thought going in person would help the issue but it didn't. Once again I was given barely any meat, and being a college student I can't afford to get double as it's expensive. Not a good start. They claim to be understaffed, so they have their doors locked and only accepting online orders. Doesn't really make sense because there's at least 4 workers in there. So the only way I can get food here is to park and order online, and then wait in a line of cars for my food. Seems incredibly inefficient, and a pretty terrible way to conduct business upon opening. What should've been a quick in and out with my food has turned into a 30 minute ordeal. Literally just walked out the door without eating there after I saw how my food was prepped. The food prep area is all dirty and they slide your burrito on a too small piece of aluminum foil across all the dirt. I mentioned this and then a employee took a dirty towel wiped across the surface and pushed left over food prices and old grime into the trays with the 'fresh' food. The Beans should be calls bean soup btw. I mentioned it three times to not drag my food through there and finally had enough. No sense for customer service or hygiene. I am a Chipotle fan but will never ever eat there again. Btw if you are vegan prepare for cheese left overs wiped into the guacamole so it's no longer vegan. I can't even give it one star due to how I was treated by the manager after asking why it is that everytime I order online I always have to wait longer than what my pickup time says. I can understand your busy but that is why you get organized and MANAGE better than you are doing. Telling your customers to go order somewhere else because you can't be nice and answer a simple question is BS. That is what the night manager said to me after three other people that came in behind me got their orders and my pick up time was 640 and at this time it was 7pm!!! I had asked three times how much longer my order was going to be but never got an answer then when I did finally get to talk to the manager on duty he told me to go order somewhere else and walked away plus he didn't even give me a receipt for my order that I paid for online an hour before arriving!!!!!! This isn't the only time this has happened, it happens almost everytime I order online and nothing is being done about. I don't even get a call or and email when I do complain about it on their app. I get nothing. so me being a customer I'm figuring that they(being the owners/area managers)don't care about what is being said to their customers that go there that are having issues with how timely their order is done or how they are treated by managers they put in charge of running their business. So as a customer I will never order from this establishment ever again. I'm old fashion and still believe that word of mouth can break or make a business no matter how big you are!!!
