I got a "salad" with steak and there was barely any lettuce and the lettuce that was there was either super bitter or spinach. The steak had so much gristle I couldn't eat a good portion of it. I got a salad like 2 weeks ago and it was great. So I don't know what happened this time but it was not good. read more

I've always been a fan of Chipotle and have eaten it often over the years. Unfortunately this is the only Chipotle in this town that I'm fairly new to. Now I've traveled for years all around California for work and Chipotle was always my go to, so when I say this is literally the worst Chipotle I've EVER been to, I mean it. I've been here a few times in hopes that maybe the other times were just rare or random bad times but nope... they're just consistently always bad. The employees are very stingy if I ask for extra and am even paying for it. They seem extremely brain dead. There's been times I've walked in and waited for forever while several employees stood there deedling around instead of acknowledging me. I've even had an employee make my food and set it by the register... and come time for the cashier to ring me up, he literally walked away from me instead of ringing me up. I waited for a minute or two for someone to ring up my food and no one ever came, so I just ended up walking out without the food. The food has always looked like it's been sitting out forever...I don't think I've seen it fresh yet. They always seem to be running out of things. I don't know if this is a management problem or if they're just hiring people that don't care or I don't know what the issue is but they should figure it out because Chipotle is a very popular and delicious place to eat if ran properly. It sucks that the only one in town is probably one of the worst businesses in town. read more

I just left and was extremely disappointed in what it cost for my dinner tonight. For 3 tacos and two little quesadillas and 3 small sodas it cost $37. The quesadilla was $8 alone and only includes cheese inside. However they offered me a side a guacamole. The price is not on the menu either. Save your $$. You can get a bigger quesadilla at Taco Bell and even add in some protein! Never again will I order that. read more

ordered our food online. Ordered 3 tacos with what I thought was rice and beans on the side of the plate. Ordered no beans just rice. When I got home to open my plate they had just thrown the tacos together. Rice inside the tacos and very skimpy on the meat. when I called to have them try and make it right, I was told that just because I didn't like rice in my tacos it doesnt mean that others don't. The doors was overcooked and my burrito bowl looked and tasted like Taco Bell rice and canned pinto beans if it were chewed up and spit out, even the employees were rude and had additude towards me. Have been to many chipotles before. Was disappointed in that the customer service was lacking here. I got the veggie fajita bowl. I realize that they have now all started charging for tortillas on the side. However, I know that when you get a veggie bowl, you are not getting meat so they load you up in rice, beans, veggies including not charging for guacamole. This store is really stingy and not customer service friendly as they lady said she could only give me "one scoop of guacamole" and that after that, she would have to charge me for extra!! NO RESTROOM AVAILABLE FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS!! Absolutely ridiculous, no reason to close off your restroom to be "employees only" when you have paying customers and are open for business. Just plain wrong. Had to stop at the gas station down to block to use the bathroom there. read more

Never fails, any online order made they mess up. Don't order online from this restaurant. It's a joke. They always forget to give you something in your order that you paid extra for, or forget to give dressings with your salad. Their customer service here sucks when you call them to let you know you had an issue with your order, response is "ok, come get what was forgotten". Went back to get the order fixed and was told that how I ordered was my fault because it was online and if I don't order rice then the bowl has less food. My girlfriend and I visited on a Sunday night and the place was nice and not dirty at all. Service was ok but we had to wait for the carnitas since they ran out (which took about 12 minutes). My only problem is that they made the mild sauce differently than other chipotles we've been to. It was spicier than usual which was ok for me but not too much for my girlfriend. On a side note: to the person complaining about the workers sitting around, apparently that person does not know about places where they don't have break rooms so they have to take their breaks in the dining area. read more

It's a little different than what you'd expect from a typical Chipotle. The dining room has metal tables in an interesting shape and you dine with lots of others at the attached wings of the tables. They serve alcohol (beer and wine from what I could see). Other than that it was your typical Chipotle. Decent service and food is what you'd expect. read more

I never really comment on restaurants, but I feel that this warranted my first post. The Chipotle here in Tulare, Ca was terrible. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. My girlfriend ordered 3 flour tacos, and the scoops of meat were so small.she had 2 barbacoa tacos in which they gave a small pinch with the tongs. I mean they were placed in the middle of the tortilla and it was so small. And her third taco was a carne asada taco. On there they put about 8 cubes of asada. And to top that off, when I went to ask for more meat because I felt that they were skimpy on the meat, the workers rolled their eyes at me and reluctantly gave me another pinch of barbacoa. I have eaten at many Chipotle restaurants and I have never before seen this type of service. I hope it was only this location. But beware of bad service. *edit* While I was writing this review, one of the Chipotle workers came and asked me if everything was alright. I explained what had happened and she said let me see what I can do and never came back. I wasted 15 minutes waiting for her to come back, but ending up leaving because I felt so disgusted with their service. read more

Gone there twice. Food, service and cleanliness where poor. Restaurant was dirty. Tables look like they haven't been cleaned all day. Meat was cold both times. The second time I was there the guy cooking the meat was actually eating the food while he was cutting it up. My suggestion would be travel a few extra miles to the visalia chipotle. Worst service at a Chipotle ever. Me and my son just went there this evening at 9 and it was just plain bad. They were out of medium salsa and corn salsa and wouldn't make any more. They close at 10 and there were two other groups behind us. I asked for half chicken and half carnitas. I was all of about 6 cubes of chicken. The tables were filthy as well as the chairs. Three of the staff were just standing in the back of the kitchen while one person served and another worked the register. The girl on the register had the crappiest attitude I've seen in a long time. My son asked me about the tip jar on the counter and I told him "Not right now". The girl behind the counter then slammed my empty drunk cup into my bag of food and gave me a death glare while asking if there was anything else we needed. This is not the first time we've had bad service at this location. Portions are always small and the attitude from the staff is plentiful. If I was you and you needed a Chipotle fix just make the 10 minute drive to Visalia and go to the one there. The staff is great and they always serve what you want until closing time. read more
