I am an absolute fan of Chipotle. I've written reviews on the two I usually go to in Orange County. Chipotle's story and commitment to provide a healthy "fast food" option are the reasons my husband and I support Chipotle. I read the reviews from the previous Yelpers (unfortunately, they weren't great). I wanted to see for myself. Here's what I observed. This Chipotle can be very successful. It is in a great location. It is clean and very inviting. The staff is very friendly, but I think they need an experienced manager to direct and manage the steps from when a customer walks through the door, orders and checks out. The process didn't flow very well. I ordered a steak burrito with brown rice, black beans, guac, lettuce, pico de gallo, grilled veggies and hot sauce. The first employee (I am not complaining) gave me a lot of ingredients. The second employee attempted to roll the burrito, but she had to grab a second tortilla wrapper. I was worried that it would fall a part as I was eating and driving. The music is a little loud (I think another Yelper mentioned this). I think if this restaurant made some minor changes, it would get more customers and better Yelp reviews. I definitely would rather eat Chipotle versus other fast food Mexican restaurants (i.e. Taco Bell, Del Taco) or local Mexican restaurants (avoid the lard, oily cheese, etc.). I come to Tulare once a quarter (for work) and will definitely return. I am curious to see if these changes will be made and if it will be busier. In my opnion, one of the best fast food mexican joints in all of Tulare county. The meat is cooked fresh, fresh salsa, fresh guacamole, and pleasant professional staff, combined with great music makes this a mexican food lovers paradise. read more

Today I went to get steak tacos and there was an issue with the steak. The worker took attention to it right away and talked to her manager. The worked quickly to get more meat and then compensated my meal. They were all so sweet as well. I was quite impressed. read more

I honestly prefer this Chipotle over the one in Visalia. Their portions are larger. I feel like the one in Visalia is very skimpy with how much they actually give you. I come in all the time. I love Chipotle. The food is always good when I go. I find it funny people complaining about the workers in the lobby...that's where they take their breaks and lunches there is no one else. They are timed too by the way. And to the skimpy comments about new workers, that is their JOB it is the CORRECT serving size (yes just one regular scoop omg!) That's the way the Chipotle intended it to be so don't blame the worker that is new. All you have to do is ASK for more rice or beans and they will do it for you. It's really not that hard. That goes for any and every Chipotle. I used to work at a Chipotle years ago so I actually know. If you don't speak up that you want more then what we were trained that's your bad. As for as bad attitude year that's legit if she had a bad attitude her manager needs to know. read more

Dirty. The food line was nasty. The toppings were all mixed up. Brown rice in the white rice, pinto bean in the black beans. I mean what's the point of picking specific toppings if they are mixed up? I ordered a burrito bowl. I asked for white rice but the employee gave me a scoop of white with a bunch of brown rice that had fell in the bin, but I let it slide. Then I asked for black beans. The bin of black beans was nearly empty so I got a tiny scoop out of this crusty dirty empty bin. Annoyed, but I let that slide too. Then for salsa I asked for the hot. She put a huge scoop of the chunky mild salsa on top of my burrito bowl. I told her that it wasn't what I asked for. She proceeded to scoop it back off my bowl along with the tiny bit of beans I had, in an attempt to fix it. She completely butchered my food. And thought throwing some hot sauce on top would fix the problem. Didn't offer to remake it. It was sloppy and disgusting! I refused to pay for that nasty mess. The girl at the register asked if I wanted a new bowl. I told her I would take a new one if they cleaned up the area and made some fresh beans this time. They did. But when I got home I still found a bunch of pintos mixed into the bowl when I asked for black. I will not be going to that location again. It's just dirty and unorganized. And they charged me 18.00 for two burrito bowls. Not worth it. read more

If you do decide to go here, just make sure its not the fat bit** with glasses serving you. When my church group goes to summer camp, we always make a pit stop in Tulare. There is around 400 of us total, most of whom are high school or junior high students. Chipotle is an obvious Hub because their food is fantastic, so there is usually a line stretching far into the parking lot. I placed my order online and was given a 12:15 pick up time. I came in at 12:00 to check on my order, and it turned out it was ready, even with the colossal line. When I went to pay for my order, my sister, who was out of money asked to borrow some, so I asked if I could place an order there and pick it up whenever they get a chance to make it. They promptly make my 2nd order and got both of our food out immediately. Super impressed with this chipotle read more

Chipotle's is well known and until recently has been very successful. It's suddenly had some strange "unusual" outbreaks in the northwest and east. I'm not sure why, but the CEO has immediately responded, doing all that is necessary to make sure Chipotle's is a clean and enjoyable place to eat. It is my opinion that my local Chipotle's is clean and very successful because of the servers and workers who wait on you with a smile and kindness. They are the best and I appreciate them so much. The Burrito Bowls and Tacos are always good, filling and healthy for the family and even old retired farts like me. The prices are reasonable too! read more
