He aggressively responded that they changed their items. If you change a menu item, shouldn't you update the description too? There's not much to be said here. There are so many great breakfast/brunch places. Don't settle for less, and definitely don't settle for a place that doesn't care at all about their customers. read more

I'm still questioning if the ham on my panini was expired meat. To be fair, the other patrons dining there seem to be enjoying their meals. Chipy's is so nice and pleasant for a Sunday morning brunch. The shop is small, so it feel cozy and food comes out quick. The owners is friendly and coffee is always refilled quickly. Nice clean simple cafe to grab a healthy lunch or something a little more sinful. I stopped in for the healthier part of the menu (one of my only times I have done so) and I was pleased. Too cold to sit outdoors so seating is a bit more limited but seated right away for a work lunch. As work lunches go we talked more than ate but we're not rushed in any way by the servers. I went with the original, which was packed with grilled veggies, spinach, ham and bacon, then topped with two eggs of choice. It was filling and tasty, and a great value. Because I feel misled by reviews, I need to share my experience. Recently, I took my 6 year old for brunch on a Sunday after seeing a play. The space is small so we opted to sit outside with a view of the parking lot in the quiet strip mall as ants crawled all over the table. A man, I think he was the owner, took our order. My daughter has food allergies and I asked about leaving egg out of pancakes, but he said they use a mix and egg might be in it already. So, not a place that can accommodate for allergies apparently. I ordered a veggie omelet with hash browns & my daughter had chicken nuggets with fries. The food arrived quickly. I was surprised by the dark and dry chicken nuggets (clearly overcooked) she was served which came with unseasoned, bland fries. After eating some of my omelet, I realized something tasted off and determined it was the tomatoes, which tasted and smelled spoiled. When the man checked in on us, I shared that something was wrong with the tomatoes and they tasted bad. He listened, didn't seem to know what to say, and walked away. I expected some follow up, but then received the bill and was charged $13 for the omelet I stopped eating. Honestly, the worst omelet and hash browns I've ever had. I could make better and fresher food at home. It was a very disappointing experience and I would never go back. If you want fresh food made using high quality ingredients, this is NOT the place to go. It seems this place has some loyal customers keeping it in business. read more

I found Chipy Cafe on Yelp and decided to give it a try for breakfast. This isa small, casual place with very good food and service. In business only since September, the Cafe does a great job. I did not notice any growing pains. The Western Omelette was well prepared and delicious. Service was attentive, efficient and friendly. Coffee refills, extra napkins, etc. were made available as soon as the waitress saw they were needed. The owner stopped by briefly to greet customers at their tables. Chipy's was pleasantly surprising. It's not particularly groundbreaking but I like their take on breakfast. I love benedicts so I ordered the lox benedict bread bowl for our first order. The bread bowls were nice and full and the hollandaise was delicious. I was particularly impressed with the cook on the poached egg - not watery at all and perfectly runny! Kudos! I was a bit confused about the salmon though because it was also cooked. It still tasted pretty good, but a bit too salty. Might have cooked from the heat of the egg on top of it, but either way, I prefer mine like the lox you get at a deli. Since then I've gotten the same benedict again and it's been consistently good. My boyfriend tried their breakfast panini and enjoyed it as well. The quality of food so far has been great for take-out, so I'm definitely going to be back for other things in the future. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey for what you get, but I think it's worth the occasional splurge. I hope to visit in person next time and check out their decor and service. read more

I was in the area for an appointment but it was pushed back 2 hours. So I needed a place to hangout and have breakfast and a previous review on google had a Salmon Avocado Toast. It definitely did not disappoint. 1) It was aesthetically appealing 2) good portion 3) a surprising hinted lemon flavor mixed with the avocado, cream cheese, capers, red onion brought all the flavor out and was not salty. I personally don't like tomatoes but did not mind it on the toast as the other flavors shined. Coffee was fresh and refilled quick and often. Service was friendly and no wait!! Although the cafe is small its inviting enough to hang out. Luckily there were only 2 other small tables occupied but... if it was full social distancing would not be capable. I would not let that stop you from take out. They have a great menu and I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes! read more

A hidden gem! I didn't know this place existed until a friend recommended it. The same was true for the couple sitting across from us who also came there after a recommendation. It's in an odd strip mall and you cannot see it from the street. The food was outstanding. My husband ,who orders waffles wherever we go, said the berry waffle was one of the best he has ever had. I ordered the hoppel poppel ( scrambled eggs with salami, green pepper and onions) and it was delicious. Tons of salami served with fruit and pancakes .The servings are big ( no skimping here)and the prices are reasonable. The owner was very friendly and obviously cares about his customers.
