Amazing selection of sushi rolls plus salmon lover appetizer! So good!

This is our favorite go to sushi place! They treat us like family! My kids adore them! We try to go to almost all of our family celebrations there. Love this local small family business. It's always cozy, clean and comfortable. The rolls are soo good!

I'd been craving Sushi for sometime now, we were headed out to see D2 and get some dinner first. "Where would you like to go for dinner tonight?" She asked do you like sushi? :0 Yes, do you place a place in mind Tuesday night was pretty slow, hence why I wasn't working tonite, she directed me to Chitose in A town right on the El Camino. Pulled in parked in front and sat at the counter. Ew...the counter bar in a sushi restaurant a coveted spot in the middle of the action. Yes, most excellent. Quite an extensive menu, easy to follow, great pic's of everything. What to order, lets order a roll each and share that and add on any other single pieces. We started with the fried won ton's shrimp, very good. We then ordered two rolls, both were pretty, fresh, and tasty. We left satisfied and happy we had found our "Sushi Place". If theres room at the counter we'll see ya there. Foodguy-martin

    Alaskan Roll

Yesterday I stopped by and picked up a big tuna roll. It was delicious so we came back tonight for dinner and got takeout again. This time I got an Alaskan roll and a chirashi bowl. I asked for no shrimp, but I didn't check the box before leaving. There was shrimp unfortunately. I was really craving rice today. It also came with miso soup. Overall, the flavors are great. I just wish they had not given me shrimp. The staff is nice though, and the interior is festive for the holidays. This place is clearly very popular and I can tell why.

    Don't order the Chitose roll!

Don't use Apple Pay for over $100 here! The sushi here is highly Americanized! The service is very good! Nothing special...too many items on the menu. We only came here because Toshi 1.0 was full and Nogi was closed...

We're happy to find our new favorite sushi spot at home!

This is my go to sushi place in Atascadero. Great service, affordable prices, a lot of rolls to choose from, and of course, good sushi!

This place is good. In the hierarchy of A-Town sushi, it's in a good tier. I like anything spicy.

Pretty good Sushi for Atascadero. I'm no critic, but compared to other local places, this one is the best.

This is one of our stops when we drive from SoCal to NorCal. Perfect stop for a break and great…read moreplace for fresh seafood. We have eaten grilled and fried fish tacos and the fish and chips. All the dishes are filling and satisfying. The fish tacos have a nice helping of shredded cabbage and sauce. The homemade chips with the salsa on the side are nice and crispy. There are tables outside and even though there are a lot of people, there is a lot of turnover so there's always an open table. We always get these two dishes but we'll try other dishes next time.

This was a fantastic place to grab seafood for lunch!…read more Did read about the parking lot and since it's shared with Trader Joes, it was crowded, but found a spot within a minute. Seemed like you could park in the other lot on the north with the human bean coffee shop, and walk across the cute connecting bridge that brings you to this lot in front of TJ. Anyway, it was nice and cozy inside, with counter to grab seafood or order some food. Inside had maybe 4 or so tables, while outside had many more. First went outside after ordering, but it was quite windy chilly so went back inside:) Had checked out the menu ahead of time, so ordering was easy. Tall young man was super friendly. Even brought out the food to the table when ready. - Fish n Chips = was so crispy and fresh, absolutely delicious and kid ate it up. plenty of fries too that we all could share - Fish tacos = got one grilled, one fried. Of course fried tastes better, but grilled was great as well. Covered in cabbage and special sauce. The sauce was excellent and addictive, easily defeated all the cabbage. And the fresh fish pieces in these were huge/thick, just awesome. The salsa that came on the side I guess is for the tortilla chips, since the taco had that special sauce on it, so no need salsa on it to detract from the special sauce. The tortilla chips seemed to be fresh cut and fried in house, was so crunchy good, especially when get a chip with a bit of salt on it. - Salmon salad = this was fantastic as well. Generous salmon pieces and the balsamic glaze was perfect with salmon and salad. I guess 2 of the salmon pieces were the skin, which was the best part! Such a delicous way to get your omega 3!!! With so many places to try, sadly only got to eat here once, but it was up there as a memorable meal, A+! And allows for you to walk off your fullness at TJ afterward, just perfect.
