I love Choco Bakery and want them to stay around forever but today's experience was less than stellar. We came in to purchase a birthday cake which we had called about the day before. The service was fine but they had just opened and were setting up, there was an insect flying around the pastries that were being stocked into the front glass counters. And the girl that was helping us swatted a big fly with her hand only to have the fly land on a new tray of fruit tarts and camped there the whole time she was preparing our items. That really turned me off. Sorry maybe it was the staff that needs training but that affected my view of this bakery. read more

My SIL lives in the area, and I forgot to bring her bday cake to her house for our family lunch!!! So, she told me of a new bakery down the road, that opened not too long ago that I'd really like. Let's gooooo!!! This place is so cute! Their selection is outrageous! Everything they have is something you'd wanna try! My hubby loves coconut, but alas, it wasn't meant to be! No coconut. I ordered a little bit of everything, and there wasn't a thing I didn't like! The best was a toss-up between the chocolate eclair and flourless chocolate cake. Came in today 8/3/25 around 630pm. Two employees were talking to each-other, the asian one had her back facing the door and as soon as I walked in the asian one did a quick glance over her shoulder and turned back her head to continue their conversation. The other one just glanced at me as well. I walked over to the pastries to look at their products and these girls still have not said a word to me or acknowledge me. I will not be spending my money at any businesses that treats me like crap. read more

It is so great that this little dessert place opened up here in AH! (but also maybe not I will probably be going there more than any human should). I have been here twice now within the span of a week. I have tried a number of things and all were very good to excellent. So far I have had the coffee cake and the chocolate cream puffs that I found to be excellent. The coffee cake is more buttery than sweet and is served warm. It was so decadent. I also really enjoyed the cream puff I had and am looking forward to trying the variations of them. Also very good was there macarons. I would prefer them to feel a bit crisper in the cookie, but overall they are flavorful and good. Lastly, I have also tried the pistachio latte. It was good, however I would recommend perhaps different espresso beans. They were not my favorite. I would like to try the croissants, however they have been sold out the two times I have been. Stumbled upon this bakery by Google. I bought a large tiramisu cake for my husband's birthday. I also bought a few cream puffs and devoured them in the car. I took my husband with me the 2nd time I went back. The Cream puffs are divine, the tiramisu is scrumptious and my husband loves the Napoleon. This bakery is still one of my favorites ever since the day I went when they first opened. We get everyone's birthday cakes and little treats here often. Everything is always delicious and well prepared. There is something for everyone's dessert fancy in their case. Many flavors and textures to choose from. The staff is kind, helpful and they don't rush you while you have your moment of indecisiveness on how many treats you could shovel in your mouth. The tiramisu cake was a flop. Expected a moist cake since traditional tiramisu would be soaked Italian lady fingers. Got this on Super Bowl Sunday and everyone complimented the look... but unfortunately it was so dry and just lacked flavor. There were many other desert option so this was left alone. Bummer! I used to love coming here to get my coffee before work. There was this girl that would always greet me with a smile and would always make my coffee right. My wife and I got the chocolate croissant, mini tart & napoleon with a side of a vanilla iced coffee, they use Lavazza, man this is one the best coffees I've had in a long time. The place itself is cute so all my aesthetics queens or kings would enjoy some snapshots of your drinks and desserts inside the cafe. It's has a welcome vibe. The service itself is spot on just have some patience when h was here there was 1 girl upfront taking all orders and a few people ahead, I kept busy trying to decide what I want and asking people in line what they're getting. The cake slices are generously sized compared to other places so it feels like you get a decent amount for your money. Mini cannoli: sweet, creamy, chilled and dipped in chocolate. If it's made from the classic ricotta, the cream was incredibly smooth. They also have a larger option Fruit tart: great to share. Creamy, great sweetness, loaded with fresh berries. I only wish the glaze sugar syrup on top was in lesser quantity just to perfectly glaze the fruit. Some may like the sweeter touch. I ate the whole thing :) Crème brûlée bar: close to a vanilla cheesecake with a crème brûlée top! Unique and love that you can see those vanilla bean specs in each bite Baklava: this wasn't spot on for me but may have received a soggy piece. The syrup was too wet for the pastry. It was unique in that it was pistachio but I'd double check the crisp/bake before purchasing a whole batch Overall, they have nailed flavor and sweetness for me - not over-the-top and the place is adorable. Textures could be improved in the baklava but they have so many pastries I would definitely come back to try more. Nice place to catch up with a friend or read a book. This place is amazing. The coffee my boyfriend and I got was sooo good. I would just come back for the coffee to be honest. The lady that helped us was so nice and let us take our time to pick out what we wanted. The place was super clean and chic looking defiantly somewhere you can come in and study. The pastries are reasonably priced and you get a lot for your money. So happy to have a bakery in Anaheim Hills. There are so many yummy things to choose from. I tried the ones pictured, sharing with family. My daughter got a pistachio macaron and loved it. I think the baklava could have been flakier, but otherwise everything was delicious. I especially like the cannoli and the Napoleon. It will take many trips to try a bit of everything they offer. The girls behind the counter were super helpful and assisted in answering questions. Love the store location and decoration. Words actually cannot describe how delicious everything we've purchased here. I stumbled in after having my nails done in the same center. The display and choices made it difficult to choose but I went with a custard eclair that my husband actually gasped at how delicious it was. I got several other items and they did not disappoint. Took him back about a week later and we tried some other items, and again, every single item was amazing. What I really appreciated was that they have several pastries in a smaller size, this letting us try before we get the larger version. Service was fast and friendly, not rushing us and with a beautiful smile. The place is pristine and very clean. We will definitely go back, next time, Baklava!! read more

Love the place! All their pastries looks absolutely amazing. The bakery is located in Anaheim Hills in a small shopping center along Santa Ana Canyon Road. It's tucked into a small corner towards the back of the shopping center. Very nicely decorated and the interior has a few tables and chairs and they offer a wide variety of coffees and teas in addition to their delicious pastries. The owner and her staff are friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel rushed as they as explained the kinds of pastries in the display...each one a work of art. It is located in a strip plaza, right at the corner. Plenty of parking. Inside is clean and staff was helpful. We had the chocolate euclair. That was super good. It's like a long cream puff with chocolate icing. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. It was just right. They have a nice selection of coffees, either cold or hot. We had other pastries there but didn't know the names, sorry, but wow, they were good. Just ask them what their popular sellers are. Bottom line: we will be back. read more

I have been meaning to try this place for awhile. Today was the day. I ordered a hazelnut iced coffee, an eclair (which isn't in the pic because I ate it already), a Napoleon and a fruit tart. The eclair is yummy. Not too sweet and with a choc ribbon on top. My husband like the fruit tart. Perfect amount of fruit and custard was yummy. The Napoleon was yummy too. Soo many choices, from cakes to eclairs to Napoleons etc.. Can't wait to come back and try more, as well as get another eclair. Friendly and helpful staff too. Such an awesome addition to the area! We've tried many of the 'sweet treats' in the nearby area and this place won the gold medal. Wide selection of pastries, croissants, baklava, tarts, cakes, puff pastries, and so much more. Ended up ordering several of the treats with the pistachio baklava and chocolate croissant being my favorites. The coffee/tea options will draw you back to try all the other flavors. I really enjoyed the lavender latte. Very nice family owned spot with a cute store. Looking forward to future visits!
