The waffle was delicious by itself, but with the toppings made the expense of it worth it. I shareable portion and mine was gone before we left the parking lot. Family-owned and the staff member was very kind and made my order generously. The cafe is very quaint and comfortable. Always see foodies post about this dessert spot, so I decided to give it a try. Walked in and wasn't greeted. Instead, the two men behind the counter looked at me like I wasn't supposed to be there. Ordered the dubai crepe & tipped anyway. It came out to about $23. It looked delicious and too nice to eat. Taste was good, but wish the kataifi was crispy. read more

My family and I had a craving for something sweet, so I found a dessert spot on Yelp that was just down the road from us. We decided to check it out, and what caught my eye were their Dubai crepes! I've been wanting to try Dubai chocolate for ages, so this was the closest I could get. The shop itself was really cute. While the prices were on the higher side, their dishes are large enough to share with a few people. Overall, the dessert was delicious, very rich and sweet. I'm glad we ventured out to try it. I love Chocolit Cafe! Their Dubai Strawberry cups are the best I've had around here. The staff is super nice and accommodating. My honey and I went on a dinner date and wanted some dessert, this was close by. We found it on yelp and decided to try it out. This shop is definitely a family owned business and I love that. They had Lebanese music playing which really gives it a unique experience. You could tell they're still fairly new as not all of the decor was completed but it still looked very nice and clean inside. I would've loved if they were a bit more outgoing in the sense of asking if we were first timers and maybe a lil rundown of how the menu works as I was a little bit confused at first. They did greet us when we walked in though. When I asked questions they answered every one politely. We ordered and Oreo shake and a bubble waffle with Nutella, fresh strawberries and a scoop of Oreo ice cream on top. They made the Oreo shake wrong, they used chocolate ice cream so it came out to be a chocolate Oreos shake. It was still tasty so no complaints. The bubble waffle was so good but it did have a just a tad bit too much Nutella for my liking, it was over powering and kinda drowned out the flavor of the bubble waffle but all in all would bring my kids back for a nice lil sweet treat. read more

Expensive, but very good. It was $39 for two desserts. However, the portions were big enough that it was plenty enough dessert for 4 people to split. As long as they don't shrink their portion sizes, we'll definitely be coming back here when we need a special treat. read more

Ever since the new owners took over, I've been excited to give this dessert place another shot. The people are definitely nicer, however, I am still having a difficult time comprehending the steep dessert prices. I came in for a Dubai crepe and waited 30 minutes before I was told that they don't have one of the main ingredients and therefore can't make the crepe. There was only one person ahead of me. It's not really a Dubai crepe without the katifi. Paid $20 for a crepe that wasn't what I wanted that I waited 30 mins for. Then fast-forward to today, I wanted to give them another shot but I've been sitting in the parking lot for 15 mins waiting for them to open and no one is coming. The hours on their door days 3pm. We came in after lunch for desserts. There was two people ahead of us but our order took so long than it should've cuz theres one one staff on a saturday . I feel like the place wasn't ready to open, the water jug looks old water from yesterday, the napkin dispenser is empty. The guy doesn't know what's in the menu pricing wise and what each dish contains. While making drinks he kept looking up and looks like just guessing on it. Staff didn't look liked he didn't want to be there (hope he's not the owner). We wanted to add fruits on our order cuz its just too sweet but he stayed in the back after giving us our order we don't know who to ask or atleast we're almost done eating after he came back out. No hellos, no greetings, no customer service at all. Honestly not worth trying, we're thrilled to have found this place in roseville but sad that we're not coming back even if we liked the food because it lacked good customer service. 2 stars bec the food was okay. I went about 4pm...the store was clean and not too busy. It's my first time coming here but I was really excited to try the Dubai crepe and Dubai strawberry cup...I have to say I was disappointed because the crunch from the kataifi was non-existent...it seemed stale or "soggy". The flavor was great..but because there was no crunch it didn't satisfy my palate so I was disappointed especially since both items were practically $20 each. The wait did take about 10+ mins since there was only 1 person behind the bar. He was pleasant and kind, just busy since he was the only worker there. We tried the Dubai crepe and the Lit cup. Looks good but that was about it. Presentation is nice like other reviews said. Can use a better pistachio cream we could barely taste any in that crepe. Obviously they use a lot of Nutella which I have some at home and can probably make my own lol. The Lit cup was just a layer of Nutella fruits and ice cream that you can also make at home. Hubby and I visited ChocoLit for a late night snack. Their desserts all look amazing so it was hard to choose. We settled on sharing a crepe. It was a good portion so we decided to share. Visited the store and got to meet the whole family! Very nice people and clean space. They mentioned the DoorDash deal they had going on (buy one get one!). ZERO STARS would not recommend this place to anyone. The service was unbelievably slow -- we waited 30 minutes for just two milkshakes, which is hard to justify under any circumstances. Unfortunately, the wait wasn't even worth it. The milkshakes were the worst I've ever had: thin, soupy, and tasting more like milk with a few cookie crumbs mixed in than an actual milkshake. I honestly don't know how something so simple can go so wrong. The cleanliness of the establishment was also extremely concerning. Nearly every table was dirty, and many of the chairs were visibly stained and uncomfortable. It did not feel like a well-maintained or cared-for environment. To make matters worse, the staff appeared disorganized and unfocused. At one point there were six employees behind the counter, yet only one person seemed to be actively working while the others drifted in and out. The lack of coordination and urgency was frustrating to watch, especially after such a long wait. I used to visit this place under the previous owners, but it was always quiet and a bit depressing -- the service wasn't great, and it never had much energy. Since the new owners took over (2025), it's completely different. The place looks bright and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, always smiling and laughing, which makes you feel good just being there. The whole atmosphere is warm and positive -- the way it should be.
