Jennie is thee best!! Space is cozy. Food is yummy and comforting. Recommend the bulgolgi over rice, fried chicken, fried seaweed rolls, and spicy rice cakes (tip: add noodles!). Service is friendly and efficient. Extra points for playing BTS while we ate during the concert week! Enjoyed our meals at Chon Dak - Will be back again when we're in the area!

YUMMY! Came before BTS concert once and then Had to come again because it was delicious! Every item was delicious and the vibe was right because they knew we were ARMY and immediately put on a BTS playlist. Vibe check. Food check Thanks Jennie!

The food was amazing. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Service was fast and friendly. Cozy vibes inside definitely coming back. Kimchi fried rice was my favorite!

I came here late at night with a group of friends who told me that they LOVE this place. Well... I thought the food was just okay. I wouldn't write home about it. I don't think I would even come here during the day. But at night if you are watching a game or going out with friends I think this could be a good spot. It really gave sports bar. They take a hands off approach to ordering so you use an IPad... but their iPads kept freezing or dying on us. They also add gratitude despite not really using waitresses.

I Love this place! Very convenient for the time (late night)! The food is very high quality and the atmosphere is so nice. The servers are amazing as well, and their ordering system is very user friendly and made for the customer! Highly recommend

The food was good and service was good. Only thing is that side dishes are all extra. But the chicken was very juicy and flavorful.

Service was good, workers were very friendly! Pretty good Korean food for the area! FYI side dishes cost extra but they were good.

Tried Chondak for the first time and was really impressed with both the food and the service. We ordered the kimchi fried rice, the roasted fried whole chicken with dipping sauces, and the platter that comes with spicy rice cakes, cheesy ramen, fried dumplings, blood sausage, and gimmari. The platter ended up being my favorite, a great variety and everything was cooked well and full of flavor. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and while all the sauces were good, the mustard sauce stood out as my favorite. Service was spectacular from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Overall a great experience, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Chon Dak is serving massive portions of Korean street food and that whole crispy fried chicken is on EVERY table. Soy garlic wings, banchan for days, and the corn cheese + bulgogi fries combo = unreal House-made sauces, generous plates, and open till 2AM. Late-night cravings? Covered.

As my reviews are heavily weighted towards food taste, the food is okay, with the pork belly being a disappointment for me. The place has a good dive vibe for guilt-free drinks and Korean comfort food. And the owner is super friendly. The ambience is excellent here. If you are on a late night snack attack in LA South Bay, I recommend this place for that - they are open till 2am. Since my reviews and ratings are all about the food. Food-wise, Chon Dak is average.  Charcoal Grilled Pork Belly - 2/5. This may be subjective. Maybe this isn't the proper cut of pork belly for this dish, but I find it too thick, of poor quality, and too fatty. The dipping sauce is just average, nothing special. I want to acknowledge that the restaurant used the right iron skillet and that, with some assistance from the waiter, the pork belly was browned correctly on the edges, giving it a good texture. Nonetheless, the whole pork belly just didn't come together for me when I ate it. Regretfully, this isn't my favorite item. Roasted Fried Whole Chicken - 4/5. This is a good dish. Overall, the chicken was well marinated. The skin was crispy and had a pleasant rotisserie taste. The inside isn't as juicy as I would like, but it was too shabby in terms of taste and juiciness. It's a good dish to complement the beer if you aren't looking for something too heavy.

There's plenty of seating and I can imagine during this time (World Cup season) this place gets so packed and fun in the best way. The service was great. We had a lot of questions about the drinks. We were recommended a flight if we were unsure which you can customize; I definitely recommend this if it's your first time so you can try a little bit of everything. They had a vendor selling tacos, burritos and other Mexican style items which were absolutely delicious and with the drinks it was a perfect combo! I'm not sure if they change that side vendor or if they are a semi permanent partner with them, but I love that they offer small businesses an opportunity to sell their foods. I was told that they used to be located in a different area or accessing brewery was through another area so pay attention to signs, especially for their nearby parking. Although we had no issues finding this space! To end our fabulous book club meeting, we of course, had to take our festivities to the Photo Booth. Such a fun and cute little touch too and already cute place. I loved it and I hope I can catch one of the World Cup games here!

Unfortunately, the service and overall attitude from most of the bartenders made the experience pretty terrible. There was a lot of eye-rolling, annoyed looks, and just a general feeling that our group was bothering them every time we came up to order. We also asked about gluten-free options, and nobody seemed to know what was available or could give us a clear answer. The one exception was Christina, who was wearing a green hoodie today. She was actually friendly and helpful, and I appreciate her for treating us normally. I understand that a group of 12 can be busy to deal with, but we were paying customers ordering drinks for over four hours. We shouldn't feel like an inconvenience every time we approach the bar. The brewery itself has potential, but the attitude from the staff completely killed the vibe for us. Based on today's experience, I wouldn't come back.

The night we went, they had the regular Dole Whip frozen drink and ube as the rotating flavor. Both were dope! It's only a few bucks more to add a rum floater, but I stopped doing that. The drink tastes so good I finish it in minutes, and I prefer not to get hammered on a Wednesday night. No kitchen is the only real downside. People bring food in or DoorDash it, which works. It's literally walking distance from our hotel in Torrance -- so close we actually walked past it the first time without even realizing it was there. Super hidden, easy to miss. The space itself is small, and when you first walk in it doesn't hit you with an over-the-top tiki vibe right away. But once the drinks start coming out, it fully delivers. The glassware is so fun and themed -- I was obsessed with the flamingo cup and actually ended up buying a couple online since I couldn't take the real one home with me. Drink-wise, I stuck mostly to my usual zombie, which has this great earthy, cinnamon-y flavor that's just different from anything else -- does the trick every time (there's a two-drink max/minimum on it, which I respect). We also tried a Makahiki Mua and a Painkiller, both really solid. The Makahiki Mua had a fun flavor, kind of similar to a Painkiller, but the zombie is still my go-to. Service was pretty good overall -- the bartender stayed mostly in one corner of the bar, which actually worked in our favor since we got served fast. A couple of small quirks though: they only have a limited number of menus, so we kept having to pass one back and forth around the bar, which felt a little silly. They also seemed to be running low on drink cups at times, having to wash and rotate them back into use, which was an odd thing to notice at a bar this size. Also wish they had some food or snacks available, even something small -- but that's a minor gripe. Vibe-wise, this is easily one of my favorite tiki lounges I've been to -- doesn't quite topple Broken Compass Tiki for me, but it's up there. Fun, easy, great drinks, solid service despite the small hiccups, and a perfect spot if you're staying in the Torrance area. Would absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone chasing that tiki lounge crawl.

Ambiance is nicely decorated, it's part of the hotel, so just walk right in, pass the lobby, take the elevator to the 6th floor and you are there. We had the woman server, reddish hair, one who I thought would be seasoned. Oder took her about 8 minutes, she then walk away and not said why. It was apparent that there was an issue with the table. Drinks took about another 12 mins to arrive and when they did it would have been great if she had spilled them. Drinks were horrible. My rum and coke was served flat and warm. Ice was dirty, seemed like no preventative maintenance takes place. No napkins were served, and at no time did she stop by to check in on us. Bartenders... not presentable at all. I didn't know what I was looking at. There was no way for me to tell if he was a bartender, or anyone else making the drinks. He seemed hot and sweaty, completely off, and wearing some sort of white T-Shirt., again, you couldn't event tell that it was a bartender making that drink, the entire experience was horrible. The drinks were so bad that we took 2 sips and said it's time to go. Waitress came by, we checked out and she just stood there waiting for a tip.
