Reservations are easy to make, right on the Yelp app. We were greeted by a friendly face, and our table was ready when we arrived. I've been meaning to try out this restaurant for some time. Finally got around to it yesterday morning. I'm now kicking myself for not coming out here sooner. It far exceeded my expectations. I had the B Sampler which comes with beef brisket, Woo Dae rib (bone-in short rib), and marinated rib. Everything was delicious, especially the marinated rib, which tasted a lot like galbi short ribs. The banchan (side dishes) were great too. The potato salad was the best I've had in sometime. Loved that it was cold and subtly sweet. I also enjoyed the soy bean paste soup, which tasted like really good miso soup except with a spicy kick. The macaroon ice cream sandwiches were tasty as well. Highly recommend the strawberry one. The service was outstanding. The woman who assisted us was pleasant, polite, and attentive. Anytime we needed anything extra like potato salad, she was at our table within a few minutes to assist us. This place gets bonus points for having a feature I've never seen at a Korean bbq restaurant. They had grates on the edges of the cooking surface to place cooked food on. This prevented the meats from getting burnt. Tip: If you want to avoid a crowd, I would recommend coming here right when it opens at 11am. This spot has a great combo where you can get beef and pork. The combo meat quality is very good! Once I ordered more and ordered à la carte the meat quality seemed to drop. The beef tartare is some of the best I've had, and my friend from Korea said it's better than the ones he's had in Korea. The kbbq is great too, but if you are willing to go out on a limb, try some of the dishes that aren't kbbq. Everything I tried was AMAZING. I loved the spicy octopus stir fry in the stone bowl. Been a lot of korean bbq's. This spot is very nostalgic in terms of taste, it brings back the taste of classic "LA" kbbq from the early 2000's, but in the best way possible. They give you tons of food and I think for the first time at a kbbq we had leftovers. The service is also great, the team takes care of whatever you need for sure.
