The service was good. The cashier was helpful in explaining the menu for our first time and the food came out quickly. I'd definitely recommend the place (especially when you're craving a now closed salad place) because you can create exactly what you want. They have wraps and warm bowls on top of the salads and snacks like prewrapped cookies and rice crispy treats and chips. Will definitely be back. I had the Caesar chop and my mom had the Asian chop. Even though they've only been open a week, the employees were well informed about the menu offerings, and shared a number of good suggestions. They were all friendly and made me feel right at home. There was a small mix up on my order, but they fixed it quickly and without any hassle. The food? EXCELLENT! I ordered the the Sant Fe Chop, and it was a HUGE serving. You could easily order the dressing on the side, have half of the salad for dinner, and the rest for lunch the next day. You have a TON of options here, so if your Vegan or Gluten-free this is a great spot. You can create your own salad, and if you want something more than a salad they have "Chopurritos" and wraps, (both of which look great!) and a lot of healthy snacks as sides. I called in an order for pickup and the guy was courteous on the phone for consistently reminding me that they were at the Town Square location, even asking how far away I was, which I advised I was 20 minutes away, under the impression my food would be ready when I showed up. The salad was great and the size was pretty good. However, there was not enough dressing for the salad so do yourself a favor and order extra. Next was the soup. It's thick and creamy but was cold and they didn't include a spoon which is a shame when staying at a hotel. I'm giving this place a one star because of the hassle and inconvenience my sister and I experienced while trying to enjoy our vacation in Vegas. 0 stars for customer service: First day: the cashier took down our order wrong and I was aggressively confronted by the food assembler employee who acted like I was lying about what I ordered. After a couple of unpleasant exchanges, I told her to ask the cashier about my order since he's the one who put it in and the poor guy, who stayed silent throughout the interaction, instantly admitted he entered the order incorrectly and apologized, but the aggressive food assembler employee wanted us to leave with our order as is because it was "correct" to what the cashier had entered. This female was very rude and the way she acted over $1.50 salmon add-on is embarrassing for this company. Second day: We came back the next day since we had no problem with the food. We chose to order online this time to avoid the bad experience from the previous day, BUT why would Chop Stop make it easy to pick up an online order? When we went in to pick up our order, the employee working the counter (Jonathan) hands us our bag and wishes us a nice day. We leave and I decide to untie the bag to check our order, as it turns out, we're missing part of our order. I then call and make a U turn to return to Chop Stop where Jonathan provides an apology and complimentary coconut drink. We leave back to our hotel, believing we can finally enjoy our salads, BUT the order had no utensils. Tahiti village doesn't provide utensils to the room so we had to contact the concierge to figure out where we could find utensils. While waiting for the utensils, we called Chop Stop and spoke to Jonathan who again apologized and said every order should be provided with utensils... you know, to spend one hour picking up salads from a place located 4 min away from Tahiti Village and having to make 2 trips because our order was wrong + not having any utensils to eat with, is really frustrating and annoying when we're on vacation here. Tip: the added/substitute for grilled salmon is not worth the extra $1.50 (served as a small portion of cold cubes). We gave this place 2 chances in a row, hoping for a better experience but the staff blew it. Hope management reads this and helps with staff training/accountability for careless service. read more
