I really enjoyed the ease of ordering online and picking up. It was quick & easy. I placed an order for the Sant Fe chicken chop salad, the Asian chop salad, and the BBQ chop salad. Tje first 2 were for friends. They loved it. I didn't really like my bbq salad. It didn't taste bbq. The salad was ok but I wouldn't try that one again. Maybe I got the wrong sauce or something. You did get a lot of salad. It's enough to feed 2 people if eating only salad or 3-4 people if your having it as a side. I built my own salad today and surprisingly it was really tasty. I decided to give this place a try after multiple fails in the past. My ingredients included were Romaine lettuce and spinach as my greens, tomatoes cucumbers red onions feta cheese seasoned croutons crispy onion. This might have been the best Chop Shop experience I've ever had. I frequent different Chop Shop location often, but my BBQ Chicken salad this past visit was phenomenal. There was a bit of a wait for my salads but another employee was on a break so I didn't mind waiting at all, especially after trying the salad. For the most part, the restaurant was clean and organized, the bathroom was slightly dirty but the employees were in a rush so it's completely understandable. When I walked in I was immediately greated by a young girl who was working the night crew I told her It was my first time in this establishment so to be patient with me, She told me to take my time and she can explain the menu to me to make ordering be less intimidating I declined and decided to do a Build your own. I came to this chop stop after the la verne closed and by far the worse experience i have ever had i came around 11:00 am -11:30 am on sunday morning and the first thing i see if the cashier standing there on her phone talking looking at the menu than after a few seconds she tells me "hi what can i get you" and so than i responded that it's my first time ever trying chop stop to see what she would say and than she proceeded to go on her phone right in front of me to text so unprofessional!!!! The salads are great. Fresh, HUGE, and well made. However if you order online for pickup, you MUST check your order before leaving. I'm not exaggerating when I say that half the time the dressing is missing. So my husband and I just came from this location, I built my own salad that included cheddar cheese. I get home to enjoy my salad and there is MOLD in my cheese, huge chunks of it! The cilantro lime dressing tastes like Italian dressing, but worse. I would ask for it on the side or not at all. There's a bunch of iceberg lettuce (which has too much water in it still - probably from frozen?) and only a small spoon full of all of the other ingredients. This place is good if you're on a diet and need portion control. For the same price you could probably go to Souplantation and get unlimited carbs, salad, soup and dessert. I had the kale chop and luckily they put the Italian dressing on the side and I was able to eat the salad without any dressing. It tasted great with just the feta, cranberries, carrots and eggs. I probably would omit the chicken next time. The sweetness of the cranberries and carrots complimented the salad well enough that I didn't need anything extra. Also they had a variety of gluten free cookies for sale that looked good, so you can get your dinner and dessert there. If you're a crossfitter or looking for a healthier alternative to drive-thrus or to-go places then Chop Stop is the solution. My husband and I came here for "brunch" on Saturday after shopping at the Terra Vista Farmers Market. They are located right next to Jimmy John's by the Shell gas station and cross from the McDonald's. We arrived just after 10:00am and were greeted immediately. I can see why people would say it's pricey here. We pay less when we eat at Souplantation (with coupon). Despite that fact, I thought the chopped salads were a decent size and delicious.
